Osu related project, API question.

So I am trying to create a website, the website will use the Osu API to get information on maps and other things.

The main problem/question is how would I get a maps amount of stars with a mod?
For example if a map has 6 stars, how would I know how many stars it has with HR on?

Is this API solid?

It worries me a bit to use a third party API.

But this is pretty neat and exactly what I need.
