Yet another request:
A random song is chosen (with the easiest difficulty selected) after entering the song list and if "Preview music" is enabled in options, play the preview.

I really want to make some new features in osu!droid, but making online scoring takes all my free time. So, I'll sort out all requests later.

About random choice on start - I don't exactly remember, but when I designed song selection menu, there was a reason not to do it. Maybe it's the structure of code or optimization.

I've some more requests that aren't really features, just behavioral changes.

Background image
Remove user adjustable "Background brightness" setting. Always dim the background slightly during gameplay (around 70% brightness on the scale of that setting earlier would work) but restore to full brightness (no dimming) during breaks.

Burst effects
hitcircle.png and hitcircleoverlay.png should burst (as in original osu!) under following circumstances:
  • Circle is hit.
  • Slider start is hit.
  • Slider repeat is hit.
  • Slider end is hit.
In my testing, some skins make the game look very bland / unfinished without those. Here is a couple of examples:

Don't know if it's possible, but adding 'Delete only this difficulty' option could be useful.

Please make the beatmap download section a bit more advanced, where one can choose between approved and ranked beatmaps because I can only download ranked. Thanx I would really appreciate it. Thanx, it's an awesome app!

To play seriously on a tablet you really need a "hit with keyborad"-feature on faster streams. Like on PC osu you can use your keyboards keys to time the hits and mouse to control the position.

A configuration to select wether to use the "mousedown" as a input to hit circles would be awesome too cause I don't really know which would work better, use the mousedown as a hit or use the touch only to tell the position of the cursor.

Also I didn't yet find if it's already implemented, but song specific offset would save much time when you wouldn't have to get back to settings every time you change songs to one you know has different timing, or different format that affects the delay.

Long tap on difficulty, set offset there.

Having different input allowed for hitting beats would be pretty awesome (like Bluetooth Keyboards, USB Keyboard/Mice, Wiimote, etc). Really not sure on how difficult this would be to implement though

I have some free time, let's sort out all requests)

0. About screen aspect ratio: aspect ratio is hard-coded. Every time I change it, I have to re-align all graphics elements (menus, game objects, etc). It's already made this way and I can't just throw out most of graphics-related code and rewrite it.

1. "Tapping a beatmap that is downloading doesn't immediately cancel it" - I'll try ti make that.
2. 'Hit with keyboard' - I'll try to make that.

3. Combo bursts - Yeah, that's possible technically, but I already know how bad Android handles effects with big textures ("spinner lag" is great example). I'll make this if I have enough free time.
4. 'Delete only this difficulty' - If you're too lazy to do this manually, I can say that I'm too lazy to code this feature :P I'll leave it for later)

5. DDL of non-ranked maps - Technically impossible.

I think this will be easy to implent : Mod sudden death ?

And if possible it'll be cool if we can got the flames when we got 30x combo (and bleu flames if 500x combo)

Add sudden death is easy. However, at the moment replays can contain some additional misses (as you probably know), and that mean replays with sudden death can be fail)) So, I won't make it until I do something with replays.

Adding combofire is impossible because osu!droid is written in OpenGL ES1.0, which doesn't support shaders required to make combofire. I already wrote that.
