Sorry for poor English in advance.

I have a feeling when playing osu! these days that I only pay attention to 'the comparative place between where the mouse is and the next note',but where the note placed against the background.

So I come up with an idea that we can use Polar coordinate to clearify the comparative place.

What I thought:
When select a note in edit mode, tape Enter to creat a Polar coordinate with 'O' placed at the point where the note is (or the last point of the slider). And then use left key(Z)+wheel to change the degree, right key(X)+wheel to change the distance spacing. The statistics of the coming note can replace this...

That's all,thank you.

The usefulness of polar coordinates is that you can rotate and scale notes. However, you can already do this:
Ctrl Shift R to rotate something by a number of degrees
Ctrl Shift S to scale something (ie distance).

It's obviously not as good as setting an origin, degree, and distance.

I support any method of measurement/degree measurement in the editor.
