6K and keysounds!
Man, this was fun.

Metadata (mostly) and audio base taken from Desperate's standard set. Apart from I still need an mp3 in there, so I made the celesta overlay myself (7th take or something like that now lol). If you want to enjoy the beatmap as intended (due to rc grey area of needing a non-blank mp3), just delete the mp3 file.

Thanks modders!

Honestly doe, wai no one mod or play 6k D:

New Beginnings
  • Disable widescreen support Whoops
  • 00:09:342 - Feels bored when notes go in order, from here make them 1 2 3 It's a mirrored pattern of the previous phrase at the moment, which means changing one would result in changing both. I'll keep as is for now.
  • 00:22:675 (22675|5,24009|4) - Swap places, more comfortable with the pitch Fair enough.
  • 00:26:009 - I think it would be better if you continue the stair, those piano sounds shouldn't be ignored That was the original idea.
    I'll put them back in.
  • 00:35:342 (35342|3,35675|4) - Remove them, if you want to map the chords here you should map them all, these two aren't stressed enough Conflict of ideas lol
  • 00:43:342 - ^ ^
  • 00:50:009 - Narrow chord would fit this low sound better Minor reposition
  • 01:00:009 - Add a note, but I think it isn't necessary  , just feel weird with this empty space Sure. It's an E6 again, so why not.
  • 01:07:342 (67342|2,68009|4) - Swap places Sure.
  • 01:25:342 (85342|3,85675|4) - Remove them lol fair enough
  • 01:30:009 (90009|1) - Move to 1Done
  • 01:31:342 (91342|1) - Move to 3 and done.

Thousand Years
  • 00:18:009 - Make this chord wider if possible I don't know about this. Considering all of the notes are in the same octave,
I think it's ok for them to be like this.
  • 00:20:009 (20009|0,20342|1) - Swap places, the upper note has lower sound A4 is lower than E5 (besides, keysound wise this was in the audio)
Alright, nothing much to say to this diff, really nice one! Thanks! :)

Thousand Years
Well I wanna help you here more through but since I cand find/DL an mp3 in it, ill just help you with the flow and balance
00:08:342 (8342|0,8675|1,9009|2,9342|3,9342|1,9675|4,9675|2,10009|5,10009|3,10009|0) - ctrl + h & 00:08:009 (8009|1,8009|4,8009|2) - mov 1step to left
00:17:009 (17009|3,17342|4,17675|5) - ctrl + g? and 00:18:009 (18009|3,18009|2,18009|1) - rearrange
00:20:675 (20675|4,20675|5) - mov to col3&5
00:31:675 (31675|1) - mov col6
00:58:009 (58009|3) - to col5
01:35:342 (95342|3,95425|4,95509|5) - ctrl + j

As I notice here, most of the stair flow here mostly/always placed in the right, well not that bad, most of them fit but consider some of those place them to left hand as its not actually really necessary to always place them to right hand like 01:00:342 (60342|0,60675|1,61009|2,61342|3,61675|4) - 01:14:675 (74675|2,75009|3) - etc. . . consider them to rearrange

New Beginnings

00:06:009 - actually you can add another note here
00:10:009 - ^
00:16:675 - 00:17:009 - add note like you did 00:17:342 (17342|1,17675|2) - , you can also do it 00:16:342 - actually
00:26:342 (26342|0,26675|1,27009|2) - ctrl + j
00:34:675 - add note?

Same also here, consider some of them place to left hand

Well that's all I can help, GoodLuck. . .

00:20:675 (20675|4,20675|5) - mov to col3&5 PR hopefully? Still thinking on this one.

"oh yeah, i used an empty mp3, dont worry about it"

General
  • mp3s don't exist in the map folder apparently. #lied. Anyways, check your discord, i sent you one there
  • look, I know there's literally no sliders present throughout the entire map, but could you like not use OD 8 for a chart this easy? I think OD 7 for the easy diff and OD 7.5 for the hardest is fine.
  • Pretty sure the diff names don't actually convey real difficulty. Could do something like adding [EZ] and [NM] to the end of the diff name but that's just cheesy.
I dunno, you speak englando, you can come up with something :^)
  • understand my struggle please and get rid of this Image
  • your bg is crap like usual <3

the normal diff
00:13:674 (13674|5,14009|2) - I might switch the columns that these notes are in so that the structure of chord - single to the left - chord - single to the left is maintained. This does make the grace a bit  so I don't mind either way

00:30:008 - col 6 is kind of empty throughout this measure. In trying to stick with your idea of pitch relevancy, I came up with this to try and balance it out https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8497503

00:54:009 (54009|3) - I'd move this to col 5 in order to follow the stacked [56] chord you have with 00:52:009 (52009|5,52009|4,52675|4,52675|5,53342|4,53342|5) -

01:17:342 (77342|3,77675|2) - I'd probably shift this once to the left cause there's a stark contrast between the pitches at 01:16:675 (76675|4,77342|3)
- and leading them adjacent in column to each other doesn't get across that difference imo

01:34:342 (94342|2,94675|1,95009|0) - It's the last few notes of the song, I think it'd be fine to have them be ascending.

01:35:342 (95342|5,95425|4,95509|3) - On top of that, if you accepted the previous suggestion, you could actually space this out a bit more like so https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8497525 which I think is more balanced on both hands.

the easy one
00:12:008 (12008|1,12674|2,13341|3,14008|4) - I would actually stack this all in the same column, and then add 1/2 notes because the BPM is slow and this phrasing feels like the exact same with 00:16:008 - which is also mapped as 1/2. So it'd be like this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8497536
00:20:008 (20008|5,20674|4,21341|3,22008|2) - same thing as above

00:26:008 (26008|3,26341|2,26674|1) - I'd make this a minitrill cause of the pitch. Maybe like so https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8497544

00:52:008 - In this measure, due to that one repeating B5, I would stack at least one note from each chord within the same column. I know I told you to tone it down on the pitch relevancy due to the boring gameplay it made, but stacks like this are variations from the norm which is cool

01:03:341 (63341|3,64008|4) - stack these too
01:11:341 (71341|4,72008|5) - ^
01:15:341 (75341|5,76008|1) - ^ im just choosing a random note in the chord, it really has no importance tho it'd be better to throw it on the right hand since it's the melody

01:19:341 (79341|5,79341|1,80008|3,80008|4) - stack one of the notes from the jump with each other?

01:23:341 - 01:24:008 - same goes for here

01:35:508 - technically, since the BPM is below 120, I would say that using 1/4 in the easy is fine. Because the bpm is only 93 in this case, using 1/4 is basically just 1/2 at 186 bpm which is easily manageable, even for new players. In this case, I would move 1:35:509 B6S.wav@20%
into the playfield for the final note.

00:13:674 (13674|5) - try move it to 3rd col & maybe like this https://puu.sh/wAHx7.jpg for better feeling like playing real piano
00:38:674 - not gonna add more note? loud sound there (maybe halved your F#6S_Gb6S to 50% & add more note at 5th col)
00:46:674 (46674|3) - ^
00:47:341 (47341|5) - i think that note fits on 4th col (in piano view point)
01:16:674 - add note to 1st col or halved your 01:16:674 (76674|4) -
01:26:674 - add note to 2nd col for better feeling & gameplay (to present that the pitch is lowering)
01:27:341 - ^
01:35:424 (95424|3) - isn't this note supossed to be at 3rd col like 01:35:008 (95008|2) - ?

Easy
I don't find anything here. It is already perfect here.

00:38:674 - not gonna add more note? loud sound there (maybe halved your F#6S_Gb6S to 50% & add more note at 5th col) Just one note in the base audio, so only a single here

00:47:341 (47341|5) - i think that note fits on 4th col (in piano view point) Some attempted PR was made going col 65 with the tune.
01:16:674 - add note to 1st col or halved your 01:16:674 (76674|4) - One note is one mod
01:26:674 - add note to 2nd col for better feeling & gameplay (to present that the pitch is lowering) But there's only one note in the base audio,
so this is best that I can do.

Your hitsounds have inconsistent delays. A3S has a 3.7675ms delay, A5S has a 2.575ms delay. B6S has a 2.4ms delay, E7S has a 1.575ms delay, G3S has a 1.65ms delay, G7S has a 1.666ms delay,
Why is D5S much louder in the right ear than in the left ear? Consider splitting the audio track and amplifying the left ear's audio, and recombining them. Same with E4S.
Please don't give kudosu.

As far as I'm aware, there shouldn't really be any delay, since the samples were taken (and some edited for length) from LordRaika's library (lord and saviour am I right? xP) {Ranking criteria states that 0-5ms delays are still ok in any case.}

As far as HS file track balance is concerned, it shouldn't really be too much of a problem (there's about 3dB of difference, which isn't that big) I think osu! also automatically rebalances somewhat depending on which column the note is in; since the 2 notes you mentioned often appear on the left-hand side, it should be ok. (Don't quote me on that though.) Besides, with only minor differences, not many are going to notice without physically examining the audio file.

Before I start.. Why the offset sounds extremely earlier from the original mp3? I'm really sure the offset should be 4114 (+67) , it's just really noticeable...

Easy
00:30:713 (30713|2) - Pretty sure this should be at col 5 for consistency of same melody as 00:29:713 (29713|4) - , you also do the same at 00:45:713 (45713|4,46713|4) - so i'm not sure bout their consistency tbh.
00:54:713 (54713|4,55380|2) - you intend to reverse pitch here? I don't recommend you to do that here, since 00:54:047 (54047|5) - is higher pitch than 00:54:713 - , so it kinda makes your reverse pitch fail here.
01:31:047 (91047|4,92047|3,92713|4) - I recommend put them at col 4-5-4, this way you actually make 01:31:047 - at different column with 01:29:380 (89380|4) - , and i would say it would make it more structured.

Normal
you might want to discuss with other whether 1/16 can actually be used in Normal difficulty/not, yeah I know this is low bpm song, but look at t/501580/start=45 , the similar map also got DQ by QAT over the 1/16 patterning and that map is even slower BPM than this song, so you might want to talk to either lamb meat / QAT about this.

00:16:114 (16114|3) - Try move this to col 5 to make more distinct differences with col 4 stack you put before at 00:13:447 (13447|3,14114|3,14780|3) -
00:26:047 - kinda wonder why you didn't make this trill since 00:26:047 (26047|0,26713|2) - is a same chord sound here.. It should be like http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8547354
00:37:713 (37713|1,38713|3) - Quite confused by these two notes, so basically... you did put 00:29:713 (29713|4,30713|4) - at the same column because i foresaw you think them as same melody, and them suddenly this one you didn't although these also are same melody, it's inconsistent. Recommend you move 00:38:380 (38380|1,38713|3) - to col 5 and col 2.
00:59:380 (59380|4,59713|3,60047|5) - Recommend move these to the left 1x , so that the note at 01:00:047 - can be at same column with 01:01:380 - , which also for your consistency with 01:03:380 (63380|4,64047|4) -
01:04:047 (64047|4,64713|3) - I do think you supposed to switch column here.. so that E7s , D7s and C7s can be one line at col 4 col 5 and col 6 for pitch here. i mean http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8547593

I do think you need rebubble from protas after the issues have been settled.. the offset issues need rebubble.. also the 1/16 are also serious issue here.

Before I start.. Why the offset sounds extremely earlier from the original mp3? I'm really sure the offset should be 4114 (+67) , it's just really noticeable... I'll work with 4067(+20) for now and ask about. (idk whether we're working with the same mp3 or not since I changed it pretty late)

Easy
00:30:713 (30713|2) - Pretty sure this should be at col 5 for consistency of same melody as 00:29:713 (29713|4) - , you also do the same at 00:45:713 (45713|4,46713|4) - so i'm not sure bout their consistency tbh. I tried for this then.
00:54:713 (54713|4,55380|2) - you intend to reverse pitch here? I don't recommend you to do that here, since 00:54:047 (54047|5) - is higher pitch than 00:54:713 - , so it kinda makes your reverse pitch fail here. Not intentional, just kinda ran out of columns to put the D6 to the right of the B5 stack.
01:31:047 (91047|4,92047|3,92713|4) - I recommend put them at col 4-5-4, this way you actually make 01:31:047 - at different column with 01:29:380 (89380|4) - , and i would say it would make it more structured. The final pattern after the B2 (01:32:047) I would like to keep as is for symmetry, but there's been a little shuffle about here.

Normal
you might want to discuss with other whether 1/16 can actually be used in Normal difficulty/not, yeah I know this is low bpm song, but look at t/501580/start=45 , the similar map also got DQ by QAT over the 1/16 patterning and that map is even slower BPM than this song, so you might want to talk to either lamb meat / QAT about this. Pattern's been changed, thanks for the heads-up on this. Only one I can't change would be the 1/8 at the end, but that should be ok.

00:16:114 (16114|3) - Try move this to col 5 to make more distinct differences with col 4 stack you put before at 00:13:447 (13447|3,14114|3,14780|3) - Done
00:26:047 - kinda wonder why you didn't make this trill since 00:26:047 (26047|0,26713|2) - is a same chord sound here.. It should be like http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8547354 That... also works lol
Sure. Long-term thinking was never my thing in the first place lol
00:59:380 (59380|4,59713|3,60047|5) - Recommend move these to the left 1x , so that the note at 01:00:047 - can be at same column with 01:01:380 - , which also for your consistency with 01:03:380 (63380|4,64047|4) - A fair point. I suppose it's fine for col 6 to go unused for a while...
01:04:047 (64047|4,64713|3) - I do think you supposed to switch column here.. so that E7s , D7s and C7s can be one line at col 4 col 5 and col 6 for pitch here. i mean http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8547593 You're kinda contradicting yourself a little with the last point you made lol

I'll keep checking. Cheers. :)
