When the sun last forever
And its all you and me
We'll kiss the sky good night "

💡
I use to listen to edms from NoCopyrightSounds channel on Youtube, and I found this one, which was quite satisfying and mappable. Since I really enjoyed Wonki's mapping style but Zekk's songs didn't fit with my music taste, so I applied it to one of the songs I like. Just made this for me to enjoy as an unranked map, but lots of people liked it so got 2 GDs and made Easy/Hard diff.
Thanks to Kyousuke for giving motivation, juankristal & Pope Gadget for MWC4K.
And of course, Wonki for giving inspirations and supporting this map.

11:20 Dellvangel: 00:12:960 - wow 1/16 snap SV ;w;
11:20 Dellvangel: 00:12:990 - i mean
11:21 Fontes: yeah
11:21 Fontes: i learned that effect from chicken
11:22 Fontes: although this is 125bpm, but most patterns are jacks and hammer
11:23 Fontes: so ahhhh.. don push to play test hard :s
11:23 Dellvangel: 00:13:080 - probably add a SV here to neutralize the 0.7x
11:23 Dellvangel: maybe 1.3x?
11:24 Fontes: ok il try it
11:24 Dellvangel: 00:13:800 - same here
11:24 Dellvangel: 00:14:520 - ... etc i believe u alreadt get what i mean
11:24 Dellvangel: *already
11:24 Fontes: sure
11:25 Fontes: hmmm
11:25 Dellvangel: 00:15:240 - 1.3x then 00:15:360 - 1.00x maybe?
11:26 Dellvangel: actually there is a kick sound here, but its fine if you dont map it to emphasize the back sound
11:26 Fontes: yeah
11:27 Fontes: most sv data and notes choose which mean like, blank i skipped is what I intended
11:28 Fontes: but i understand what u mean
11:28 Fontes: i think need to more adjust sv data
11:28 Dellvangel: 00:32:160 - 0.01x isnt available yet, it will auomatically change to 0.1x when u play it
11:29 Dellvangel: try to change it to 0.1x and you will see it is exactly the same with 0.01x
11:29 Fontes: yeah ur right
11:29 Fontes: this sv is that i recommanded from my other friend
11:29 Fontes: maybe he used sv tool
11:29 Fontes: il fix it
11:30 Dellvangel: then you will need to recalculate the sv from 00:33:120 - since it should be started from 0.13x or something around that since the previous SV is 0.1x
11:30 Fontes: ah.. i mean i was recommanded that sv data
11:30 Dellvangel: oh i see xd
11:31 Fontes: ok
11:31 Fontes: ur right
11:32 Fontes: actually i don know well about sv, this is my frist tried
11:32 Fontes: most data is that i refered from other ranked maps
11:32 Fontes: i wanted use soft effect and tough hard both
11:32 Dellvangel: 00:34:440 - this should be 1.75x since the previous SV is 0.75x, (3/4 beat x 0.75 + 1/4 beat x 1.75)/4 = 1
11:33 Fontes: to each part of sound
11:33 Dellvangel: ah, i mean (3/4 beat x 0.75 + 1/4 beat x 1.75) = 1
11:33 Dellvangel: lol
11:34 Fontes: is there SV rules of calculation?
11:35 Fontes: if I want to save if I have a textbook
11:35 Dellvangel: hmm, i just calculate it to has average speed = 1 might looks easier for sightread
11:36 Dellvangel: 00:34:080 - until 00:34:560 - if you want to calculate it to get average speed = 1, since 00:34:080 - until 00:34:440 - is 0.75x then what speed that you have to use from 00:34:440 - to 00:34:560 - ?
11:37 Dellvangel: since 00:34:080 - until 00:34:440 - is 3/4 beat, then 3/4 x 0.75 = 0.5625
11:39 Dellvangel: then fill 00:34:440 - to get average speed = 1
11:39 Dellvangel: it wold become 1/4 x 1.75 = 0.473
11:39 Dellvangel: 0.5625 + 0.475 = 1
11:40 Dellvangel: ah i suck at explain this ;w;
11:40 Fontes: so does the combined shift figure recommend 1
11:40 Fontes: ?
11:40 Dellvangel: eh i dont get what u mean
11:41 Fontes: i dont think i hav to must fit that sum figure to 1
11:41 Dellvangel: yea, you dont have actually
11:41 Dellvangel: it is pretty optional
11:41 Fontes: but you mean that is recommended status
11:41 Fontes: right
11:41 Dellvangel: ok then its fine if u want to keep it
11:42 Fontes: but i didn know that how to caculate from that way
11:42 Fontes: i've got a good study from u
11:42 Fontes: :'3
11:43 Dellvangel: actually similar with 00:39:840 - until 00:40:080 - which u calculate it exactly = 1
11:43 Fontes: ok
11:43 Fontes: il try with that way
11:43 Dellvangel: (1.9x + 0.1 x) /2 = 1
11:44 Fontes: yeah i got it now :D
11:44 Fontes: actually im satisfied this status now but i thought it lack refinement
11:45 Dellvangel: 00:40:260 - this, too narrow imo, even the bpm is 125 but 1/8 snap on 0.75x SV is too narrow
11:45 Dellvangel: 00:40:170 - add 1.25 here, then 00:40:260 - 1.00x might plays better
11:46 Dellvangel: 0(.75 + 1.25)/2 = 1
11:46 Fontes: oh
11:46 Fontes: ok
11:46 Fontes: good
11:46 Dellvangel: *(0.75 + 1.25)/2 i mean
11:46 Fontes: sure :3
11:47 Dellvangel: to get average speed = 1 this one should be 1.6x
11:48 Fontes: oh where?
11:48 Dellvangel: 00:40:740 - ah lol
11:48 Dellvangel: that one
11:48 Dellvangel: forgot to paste it xd
11:49 Dellvangel: (3*0.8 + 4*1.6)/ 4 = 1
11:50 Fontes: 3*0.8?
11:50 Dellvangel: im not sure how you calculate the SVs tbh, kinda insonsistent
11:50 Fontes: no.. u doing big help to me now
11:51 Dellvangel: https://dell.s-ul.eu/d5vvG4LH there is 4 square right? and 3 of them are 0.8x
11:51 Fontes: so its related to snap's number
11:51 Dellvangel: i mean 4 square is from up to bottom
11:52 Dellvangel: in one column
11:52 Dellvangel: yea something like that
11:52 Fontes: oh i understand now
11:52 Dellvangel: xd
11:53 Fontes: so aimming average stat =1 would be recommanded. that is the point
11:53 Dellvangel: yea, usually ppl tend to calculate it like that
11:54 Fontes: im just didnt know that about rule to calculate
11:54 Dellvangel: yea xd
11:54 Fontes: ok il entirely try to fix this with u teached
11:55 Dellvangel: to get average speed = 1 this should be 1.75x
11:55 Fontes: thank you alot
11:55 Fontes: <3<3<3
11:55 Dellvangel: 00:42:120 -
11:55 Fontes: yeah
11:55 Dellvangel: u're welcome :3
11:55 Dellvangel: so we are done now? or still want me to point more?
11:58 Fontes: oh no
11:58 Fontes: is really enough
11:58 Dellvangel: oki, good luck! :3
11:58 Dellvangel: want me to post the chat to the thread?

    12:50 Virtue-: >w<
12:50 Otakujanai: but I think it'll be bit hard to
    12:50 Virtue-: D:
12:50 Otakujanai: play because of those SVs
    12:51 Virtue-: oki then... ._.
12:51 Otakujanai: should I nerf SVs? or maybe
    12:51 Otakujanai: change
    12:51 Otakujanai: SV styles
12:52 Virtue-: no just keep it
12:52 Virtue-: or maybe u can make it a little slower
12:52 Otakujanai: okay I'll change patterns
    12:52 Virtue-: like 1.5 with 0.5 or 1.3 with 0.7
12:52 Otakujanai: oh I used 1/4 3/4 snapping for SVs
    12:53 Otakujanai: I'll try 2.2 0.6 or something later
    12:53 Virtue-: oki
12:53 Virtue-: just dont make the SVs too strong, cause that part is really hard af
    12:54 Otakujanai: okay
    12:56 Otakujanai: I'll use your patterns at 02:04:320 - this part since 00:24:480 - to 00:49:440 - is part 1 and 01:58:560 - ~~ is part 2
    12:57 Virtue-: oki 'w')b
12:57 Otakujanai: I think its better to use easier patterns at part 1
12:58 Virtue-: just do what u must do owo
    12:59 Virtue-: btw, i have some suggestion.. from 00:34:080 - until 00:36:000 -
    12:59 Virtue-: http://puu.sh/wzwzr/90283025e8.png
    12:59 Virtue-: http://puu.sh/wzwzL/66c8da7dbe.jpg
13:01 Otakujanai: What is the timing point for the last picture?
    13:02 Virtue-: 00:34:080 until 00:36:000 -
13:02 Otakujanai: I changed patterns for the first one but I don't get the second one
    13:02 Virtue-: oooo
    13:02 Virtue-: wait
    13:02 Virtue-: the last is 00:35:160 - 00:36:000 -
    13:03 Otakujanai: Ahh
13:03 Otakujanai: Well for the second one I'll just keep my patterns for now
13:03 Virtue-: maybe its a bit "cancer"(?) but its fun i guess
13:03 Otakujanai: If I change like that
13:03 Otakujanai: I should change SV styles so
13:03 Otakujanai: I'll keep your suggestion in mind
    13:03 Virtue-: ummm
    13:03 Virtue-: oki"
    13:03 Otakujanai: for now
13:04 Virtue-: but i really really suggest to make it LNs 00:35:160 (35160|0,35160|2,35280|2,35280|1,35280|3,35400|1,35400|0) - they're really fit for this owo
    13:05 Otakujanai: I'll test it
13:06 Virtue-: its just my trick for "long song" u use copy and paste trick
    13:06 Virtue-: example : copy 00:34:080 (34080|2,34080|3,34080|0,34200|1,34320|0,34440|3,34560|1,34560|0,34800|0,34800|2,35040|3,35040|0) - and paste + flip (ctrl+h) in here 00:36:000 (36000|3,36000|0,36000|2,36120|1,36240|2,36360|0,36480|2,36480|1,36720|0,36720|1,36960|0,36960|3) -
    13:07 Otakujanai: okay
13:08 Virtue-: and do it for the next loop (kiai, same part, etc)
    13:08 Otakujanai: yeah
    13:08 Otakujanai: I'll do it
    13:10 Virtue-: 00:49:440 (49440|3,49440|2,49440|0,49500|1,49560|2,49620|3,49680|0,49740|1,49800|2,49860|1,49920|0,49920|3,49980|2,50040|1,50100|0,50160|3,50220|2,50280|1,50340|2,50400|1,50400|3,50400|0) - and wtf is this
    13:10 Otakujanai: SVs?
    13:10 Virtue-: nope
13:10 Otakujanai: It's just delay patterns
    13:10 Virtue-: the 1/8
    13:10 Virtue-: aahh
    13:10 Virtue-: oki
13:11 Otakujanai: It's not that hard actually
13:11 Otakujanai: but the problem is
    13:11 Otakujanai: 00:51:360 - this part
    13:11 Virtue-: they're insane
    13:11 Virtue-: =w=
13:12 Virtue-: btw, is this diff "MUST" be X icon?
13:12 Otakujanai: Any suggestions for this part?
    13:12 Otakujanai: Well
    13:12 Otakujanai: nope
13:13 Otakujanai: but it'll be because of 00:30:240 - this part
13:13 Otakujanai: delay patterns does not change SR
    13:13 Virtue-: http://puu.sh/wzwXS/16ef1c5533.png #[A v a l o n]
    13:13 Otakujanai: lol
    13:13 Virtue-: srsly, he's right =w=
13:14 Virtue-: i mean, this diff is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too hard
    13:14 Otakujanai: Hmm
13:14 Otakujanai: I don't think this one is overmapped
13:14 Virtue-: because u can play it
13:15 Otakujanai: Well so do others...
13:15 Virtue-: nvm that i said b4 =w= lets go to the suggestion
13:15 Otakujanai: So then what part do you think its overmapped?
    13:15 Virtue-: 00:51:360 -
    13:17 Virtue-: its hard =w=
13:18 Otakujanai: Well last diff for Blastix Riot is hard too lol
13:19 Otakujanai: I mapped the last diff for this song like this
    13:19 Otakujanai: Because
13:19 Virtue-: because its "fit" with the song
13:19 Virtue-: fast, cancer, and broken af
    13:19 Virtue-: #fuckyoucamell
13:19 Otakujanai: I think this song can have similar SR as Trigger
    13:19 Virtue-: trigger?
13:19 Virtue-: trigger is 200+ bpm
    13:19 Otakujanai: that Wonki's map
    13:20 Virtue-: 125
13:20 Otakujanai: this one is 250 for streams
    13:20 Virtue-: ...
    13:20 Virtue-: how? =w=
13:20 Otakujanai: bpm does matter SR but some songs can be treated as double bpm
13:21 Otakujanai: since those delays are 1/8s
13:22 Virtue-: can we move to other part, im give up at those delays
    13:22 Virtue-: =w=
    13:22 Virtue-: sorry
    13:22 Otakujanai: okay
13:22 Virtue-: i'll do this when im free enough, cuz i need to finish many marathons and GDs
13:23 Otakujanai: okay thanks for modding virtue!
13:23 Otakujanai: I'll also change other parts
    13:23 Virtue-: oki
13:23 Virtue-: but wait, im not done with this diff =w=
13:24 Virtue-: o oki, im done
    13:24 Otakujanai: Only difference between part 1 and 2 is 02:38:880 -
13:24 Virtue-: AAAAA I SEE XD
13:26 Virtue-: i'll post this chat to forum owo

  2. 00:51:360 - ~ 01:04:800 - There seems to be a need to put a slightly stronger SV. like 1.5 0.6 i guess (02: 25: 440 - ~ 02:37:680 - Do the same from here too)

  2. 00:51:960 (51960|0,52080|0) - It's hard to play, and these parts of this map are not easy to play. You need a task to review as a whole.

Overall, this difficulty seems fine to me. just pattern is a bit tilting.
As GDer, I do not want anyone to say "this difficulty is unrankable!!"
you and i are koreans. and you are smart and i'm not good at english. i have to study a lot of english. and i was bored. and i received a request for modding from you. yes. that's the reason you're seeing now.

Changed to similar patterns. Good point.

Nope. Agree that it's quite hard, but I think it could be considered as a concept of this map.

Overall, this difficulty seems fine to me. just pattern is a bit tilting.

15:53 Otakujanai: can you mod now
15:53 Otakujanai: people say start ranking process for
15:53 *Otakujanai is listening to [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/1321781 Kontinuum - Lost (feat. Savoi) [Sunroof Remix]]
15:53 Otakujanai: this one
15:53 Curiossity: sure, i can run through it real quick
15:54 Otakujanai: i can't find anything to fix but since i only got 3 mods so it'll be considered as speedrank or sth
15:54 Curiossity: well it hasn't been uploaded for less than three months so it's not a speedrank
15:55 Curiossity: also i'm bad
15:57 Otakujanai: SVs are bad
15:57 Curiossity: svs are hard, but not bad
15:57 Curiossity: also
15:57 Curiossity: isn't this a dump file
15:58 Otakujanai: umm
15:58 Otakujanai: idk
15:58 Otakujanai: well it was used for MWC so maybe i can ask to juankristal or willy wonka
15:58 Curiossity: ok
15:58 Curiossity: cause that's up to bn
15:58 Otakujanai: but well
15:59 Otakujanai: i heard from fontes that chicken said it's rankable
15:59 Curiossity: i see
16:00 Otakujanai: dunno for other bns
16:00 Curiossity: gotcha
16:01 Curiossity: so for 00:16:800 (16800|3) -
16:01 Curiossity: in the highest diff
16:01 Curiossity: why isn't it minijacked like the other hands
16:01 Curiossity: also 00:20:640 (20640|1) -
16:01 Otakujanai: :V
16:02 Curiossity: 00:21:960 (21960|3) - and this one is backwards
16:02 Otakujanai: that's intended
16:02 Curiossity: er,
16:02 Curiossity: right, but why
16:02 Otakujanai: that's
16:02 Otakujanai: emm
16:02 Otakujanai: fixed
16:02 Otakujanai: well
16:02 Otakujanai: if you hear sounds
16:02 Otakujanai: 00:20:640 - this part hars
16:02 Otakujanai: has
16:02 Otakujanai: bit weaker sound
16:02 Otakujanai: so i didn't made it to jack
16:03 Curiossity: you mean this note? 00:20:760 (20760|0) -
16:03 Curiossity: or the kick itself
16:03 Curiossity: merely curious
16:04 Otakujanai: 00:20:760 -
16:04 Otakujanai: yeah
16:04 Otakujanai: no sound here
16:04 Curiossity: 00:21:240 (21240|3) - but this sound is the same way
16:04 Curiossity: :v
16:04 Otakujanai: tbh it has been 5 months so doesn't remember all
16:04 Otakujanai: and
16:04 Otakujanai: was bit more nooob
16:04 Curiossity: np, np
16:04 Curiossity: this is very nit-picky
16:04 Otakujanai: ah
16:04 Otakujanai: i see
16:05 Curiossity: there's not a lot wrong with the diff and stuff like this is usually fine
16:05 Otakujanai: i'll fix that one
16:05 Curiossity: also anchor here 00:22:080 (22080|3,22320|3,22560|3,22800|3,23040|3) -
16:05 Curiossity: might not be that big of an issue but
16:05 Curiossity: thought i'd point it out
16:06 Otakujanai: fixed all
16:06 Curiossity: also this jumptrill thing
16:06 Curiossity: 00:30:240 (30240|3) -
16:06 Curiossity: is pretty rough
16:06 Otakujanai: well anchor would be okay for here
16:06 Otakujanai: cuz
16:07 Otakujanai: minijack is much harder to handle
16:07 Curiossity: where's here
16:07 Otakujanai: so making anchor on non-minijack line would be alright
16:07 Otakujanai: i mean around 20s
16:07 Curiossity: yeah
16:07 Curiossity: non minijack anchor is probably cool
16:08 Otakujanai: i think i fixed for minijack line
16:08 Curiossity: k
16:08 Otakujanai: 00:30:240 (30240|3) - this one is..
16:08 Otakujanai: ugh
16:08 Otakujanai: not sure for me
16:08 Curiossity: yeah
16:08 Curiossity: it's very dense and hard to acc well unless you're comfortable with 250bpm
16:09 Otakujanai: i'll just take that note till bn check
16:09 Curiossity: k
16:09 Otakujanai: some could say it's inconsistent
16:09 Curiossity: see what they have to say about it
16:09 Otakujanai: i'll keep in mind
16:09 Curiossity: yeah that too
16:09 Curiossity: 00:35:280 (35280|3,35760|0) -
16:10 Curiossity: actually
16:10 Curiossity: nvm
16:10 Otakujanai: haha
16:10 Curiossity: was going to say that you should abandon the hands and make the pattern more jack based but
16:10 Otakujanai: for snare of course
16:10 Curiossity: i think it's okay with the svs
16:10 Curiossity: well i knew that going in
16:10 Curiossity: but i wasn't sure if it was strong enough of a sound to be hands
16:11 Otakujanai: that's why some said it's overmapped
16:11 Curiossity: 00:39:900 (39900|0,40320|3) - here
16:11 Curiossity: you have streams for the first bit but not the second
16:11 Otakujanai: that's
16:11 Curiossity: while it's the same buzzing sounds
16:12 Otakujanai: 02:13:920 - different with here right
16:12 Otakujanai: ?
16:12 Otakujanai: i thought if i made that all streams it would be boring
16:12 Curiossity: i think the stream part is short enoug that it wouldn't get repetetive
16:12 Curiossity: and it's more consistent
16:13 Curiossity: if you have it like you do in the second kiai
16:13 Otakujanai: and might heard stuffs like part1 and part2 are ctrl+cved
16:13 Curiossity: switch the direction of the streams and it's more a e s t h e t i c
16:13 Curiossity: also i doubt people will call you for copy paste
16:13 Otakujanai: kk
16:13 Curiossity: 02:05:220 (125220|1,125280|2,125280|0,125280|3,125340|1,125400|3) - also wtf
16:13 Curiossity: ow
16:14 Otakujanai: that's
16:14 Otakujanai: what
16:14 Otakujanai: juankristal created
16:14 Curiossity: why did juan make it so
16:14 Otakujanai: during semifinal mappool pick,
16:14 Otakujanai: he said my patterns are inconsistent
16:14 Otakujanai: and told me to make like that
16:15 Otakujanai: dunno
16:15 Curiossity: hm
16:15 Otakujanai: i'll just put 02:05:400 (125400|3) - to line 3
16:15 Otakujanai: no
16:15 Curiossity: that would be the same issue
16:15 Otakujanai: anchor will be too long
16:15 Otakujanai: yeah
16:15 Curiossity: idk
16:16 Curiossity: you odn't have to change it now
16:16 Curiossity: just pointing out things that might need attention
16:16 Otakujanai: k
16:16 Curiossity: 00:48:000 (48000|0) - same thing as before with the streams
16:17 Otakujanai: yep i know
16:17 Curiossity: 00:51:360 (51360|1) - here, there's a short break before each new synth sound
16:17 Curiossity: in this section
16:17 Curiossity: so maybe take out the last note in each stream to reflect that, and a stutter sv or something
16:17 Curiossity: but
16:17 Curiossity: that might be too much
16:18 Curiossity: or not what you had in mind
16:18 Otakujanai: that's probably because of distortion effect while composing this thing
16:18 Curiossity: aye
16:18 Otakujanai: hmmm... what should i do
16:19 Curiossity: idk
16:19 Curiossity: also 01:03:300 (63300|3,63360|2,63420|3) - could be painful
16:19 Otakujanai: i think that note could be considered as
16:19 Otakujanai: drum note
16:19 Otakujanai: that's intended
16:19 Curiossity: right
16:19 Otakujanai: to break combo for last section of part 1
16:19 Otakujanai: to make players angry
16:19 Curiossity: lmao
16:20 Curiossity: 01:56:040 (116040|0) - also few reverse jacks or whatever you want to call them, if you were going to chagne them
16:20 Curiossity: if not nvm
16:20 Otakujanai: thus there are not much pattern i could pick
16:20 Curiossity: yeah true but
16:20 Otakujanai: yep i've already fixed those
16:21 Curiossity: 01:04:200 (64200|0,64260|1,64320|2,64380|1) - this transition here
16:21 Curiossity: is much easier since it's split between hands
16:21 Curiossity: but
16:21 Curiossity: it would be rearranging so
16:21 Curiossity: don't force it if the patterns don't line up
16:22 Curiossity: 02:13:200 (133200|3) - in sections like these
16:22 Curiossity: people might complain about inconsistency of jacks but i don't know how much of a problem that is
16:23 Otakujanai: that would be okay
16:23 Otakujanai: if bn's don't catch it
16:23 Otakujanai: might be problem if there are people who doesn't want this thing to be ranked
16:23 Curiossity: 02:25:200 (145200|0,145260|1,145320|2,145380|3) - and 00:51:120 (51120|0,51240|3) -
16:23 Curiossity: same sound but different layering/pattern
16:23 Curiossity: also yeah, but it's a good map
16:23 Curiossity: who doesn't want it ranked :c
16:24 Otakujanai: sv haters of course XP
16:24 Curiossity: o tur
16:24 Curiossity: true
16:24 Otakujanai: 00:51:120 - fixed here
16:24 Curiossity: 02:27:780 (147780|3,147900|3,147960|2,148080|2) - lots of jacks within streams like here
16:24 Curiossity: not a bad thing per se
16:24 Curiossity: but it doesn't really feel consistent or meaningful
16:24 Otakujanai: oki fixed
16:25 Curiossity: @.@ fixing it wasn't really the point but
16:25 Curiossity: cool
16:25 Curiossity: 02:48:480 (168480|1,168480|0,168600|0,168600|1,168720|0,168720|1,168840|1,168840|0) - here, since you've already done a long jack on the left hand
16:25 Curiossity: maybe you could make it 13,13,13,13, instead of 12,12,12,12,
16:25 Curiossity: or some other pattern
16:25 Curiossity: idunno
16:25 Curiossity: same just a bit later
16:26 Curiossity: with right hand
16:26 Otakujanai: it's concept all through last part
16:26 Otakujanai: so won't fix it
16:26 Curiossity: ok
16:26 Curiossity: np
16:26 Curiossity: 02:53:760 (173760|3) -
16:26 Curiossity: this part feels kinda strange but
16:26 Curiossity: i don't really know any solution
16:26 Otakujanai: me too
16:27 Otakujanai: ah
16:27 Otakujanai: i would
16:27 Otakujanai: just
16:27 Curiossity: 02:54:120 (174120|2) - maybe add a stream until here
16:27 Otakujanai: make stream till 02:54:000 - here
16:27 Curiossity: idk
16:27 Curiossity: that works
16:27 Curiossity: that would feel much better imo
16:28 Curiossity: 00:09:240 (9240|3) - also one last thing, this stream here is kinda iffy
16:28 Curiossity: in terms of actually existing
16:28 Otakujanai: what does it mean by iffy
16:28 Curiossity: the sound it represents
16:28 Otakujanai: doesn't match?
16:29 Curiossity: i'm not sure if it's pure 1/4 notes or not
16:29 Otakujanai: ahh
16:29 Curiossity: 00:10:800 (10800|3,10920|2) - especially last two notes
16:29 Otakujanai: it's not actually but dump
16:29 Curiossity: yeah i figured as much
16:29 Otakujanai: since those sounds are not that accurate to put notes
16:29 Curiossity: mhm
16:29 Otakujanai: i tried to put SVs
16:30 Otakujanai: but failed
16:30 Curiossity: ;w
16:30 Curiossity: ;
16:30 Otakujanai: probably fontes already asked to fresh chicekn about this
16:30 Curiossity: ok
16:30 Curiossity: do you want me to mod other charts as well
16:30 Otakujanai: thanks man
16:30 Otakujanai: post it if you want
16:30 Otakujanai: well
16:30 Otakujanai: if you can mod hard it would be good
16:30 Curiossity: 'kay
16:31 Curiossity: 00:21:240 (21240|1) - ghost?
16:31 Curiossity: 00:19:800 (19800|3) -
16:32 Curiossity: 00:56:760 (56760|1) - maybe move this to col. 3, then
16:32 Curiossity: 00:56:880 (56880|1,57000|2) - have these two on col. 2
16:32 Otakujanai: 00:19:800 (19800|3) - this one is not
16:33 Otakujanai: that one is intentional
16:33 Curiossity: if there's a sound there it's very faint
16:33 Otakujanai: since this hard diff is too easy for SR
16:33 Curiossity: >.<
16:33 Curiossity: 00:35:040 (35040|0) - if you want more difficulty you could add minijacks here
16:33 Curiossity: or something
16:34 Otakujanai: that
16:34 Otakujanai: would be
16:34 Otakujanai: too crucial
16:34 Otakujanai: minijacks all around the map with *3.4
16:34 Curiossity: i mean
16:34 Curiossity: tbf
16:34 Curiossity: it's 125 bpm
16:34 Curiossity: and it's not everywhere
16:34 Curiossity: but i see your point
16:35 Otakujanai: hmm
16:35 Otakujanai: mm
16:35 Otakujanai: mmm
16:35 Otakujanai: argh
16:35 Curiossity: don't feel like you have to do it
16:35 Otakujanai: mapping seems to be the hardest game
16:35 Curiossity: lol
16:36 Otakujanai: well i'll just let novice players to get their pp
16:36 Curiossity: 02:30:840 (150840|3) - same deal as when i mentioned earlier
16:36 Curiossity: ah ok
16:36 Curiossity: you mean dt players
16:36 Otakujanai: nope
16:36 Otakujanai: oh
16:36 Otakujanai: that could work too
16:36 Otakujanai: but it's only *4.8
16:37 Curiossity: yea
16:37 Curiossity: ;w;
16:37 Otakujanai: so doesn't mean too much
16:37 Curiossity: that's all i have for hard
16:37 Otakujanai: DT last diff if you want pp
16:37 Otakujanai: thanks :D

15:53 Otakujanai: can you mod now
15:53 Otakujanai: people say start ranking process for
15:53 *Otakujanai is listening to [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/1321781 Kontinuum - Lost (feat. Savoi) [Sunroof Remix]]
15:53 Otakujanai: this one
15:53 Curiossity: sure, i can run through it real quick
15:54 Otakujanai: i can't find anything to fix but since i only got 3 mods so it'll be considered as speedrank or sth
15:54 Curiossity: well it hasn't been uploaded for less than three months so it's not a speedrank
15:55 Curiossity: also i'm bad
15:57 Otakujanai: SVs are bad
15:57 Curiossity: svs are hard, but not bad
15:57 Curiossity: also
15:57 Curiossity: isn't this a dump file
15:58 Otakujanai: umm
15:58 Otakujanai: idk
15:58 Otakujanai: well it was used for MWC so maybe i can ask to juankristal or willy wonka
15:58 Curiossity: ok
15:58 Curiossity: cause that's up to bn
15:58 Otakujanai: but well
15:59 Otakujanai: i heard from fontes that chicken said it's rankable
15:59 Curiossity: i see
16:00 Otakujanai: dunno for other bns
16:00 Curiossity: gotcha
16:01 Curiossity: so for 00:16:800 (16800|3) -
16:01 Curiossity: in the highest diff
16:01 Curiossity: why isn't it minijacked like the other hands
16:01 Curiossity: also 00:20:640 (20640|1) -
16:01 Otakujanai: :V
16:02 Curiossity: 00:21:960 (21960|3) - and this one is backwards
16:02 Otakujanai: that's intended
16:02 Curiossity: er,
16:02 Curiossity: right, but why
16:02 Otakujanai: that's
16:02 Otakujanai: emm
16:02 Otakujanai: fixed
16:02 Otakujanai: well
16:02 Otakujanai: if you hear sounds
16:02 Otakujanai: 00:20:640 - this part hars
16:02 Otakujanai: has
16:02 Otakujanai: bit weaker sound
16:02 Otakujanai: so i didn't made it to jack
16:03 Curiossity: you mean this note? 00:20:760 (20760|0) -
16:03 Curiossity: or the kick itself
16:03 Curiossity: merely curious
16:04 Otakujanai: 00:20:760 -
16:04 Otakujanai: yeah
16:04 Otakujanai: no sound here
16:04 Curiossity: 00:21:240 (21240|3) - but this sound is the same way
16:04 Curiossity: :v
16:04 Otakujanai: tbh it has been 5 months so doesn't remember all
16:04 Otakujanai: and
16:04 Otakujanai: was bit more nooob
16:04 Curiossity: np, np
16:04 Curiossity: this is very nit-picky
16:04 Otakujanai: ah
16:04 Otakujanai: i see
16:05 Curiossity: there's not a lot wrong with the diff and stuff like this is usually fine
16:05 Otakujanai: i'll fix that one
16:05 Curiossity: also anchor here 00:22:080 (22080|3,22320|3,22560|3,22800|3,23040|3) -
16:05 Curiossity: might not be that big of an issue but
16:05 Curiossity: thought i'd point it out
16:06 Otakujanai: fixed all
16:06 Curiossity: also this jumptrill thing
16:06 Curiossity: 00:30:240 (30240|3) -
16:06 Curiossity: is pretty rough
16:06 Otakujanai: well anchor would be okay for here
16:06 Otakujanai: cuz
16:07 Otakujanai: minijack is much harder to handle
16:07 Curiossity: where's here
16:07 Otakujanai: so making anchor on non-minijack line would be alright
16:07 Otakujanai: i mean around 20s
16:07 Curiossity: yeah
16:07 Curiossity: non minijack anchor is probably cool
16:08 Otakujanai: i think i fixed for minijack line
16:08 Curiossity: k
16:08 Otakujanai: 00:30:240 (30240|3) - this one is..
16:08 Otakujanai: ugh
16:08 Otakujanai: not sure for me
16:08 Curiossity: yeah
16:08 Curiossity: it's very dense and hard to acc well unless you're comfortable with 250bpm
16:09 Otakujanai: i'll just take that note till bn check
16:09 Curiossity: k
16:09 Otakujanai: some could say it's inconsistent
16:09 Curiossity: see what they have to say about it
16:09 Otakujanai: i'll keep in mind
16:09 Curiossity: yeah that too
16:09 Curiossity: 00:35:280 (35280|3,35760|0) -
16:10 Curiossity: actually
16:10 Curiossity: nvm
16:10 Otakujanai: haha
16:10 Curiossity: was going to say that you should abandon the hands and make the pattern more jack based but
16:10 Otakujanai: for snare of course
16:10 Curiossity: i think it's okay with the svs
16:10 Curiossity: well i knew that going in
16:10 Curiossity: but i wasn't sure if it was strong enough of a sound to be hands
16:11 Otakujanai: that's why some said it's overmapped
16:11 Curiossity: 00:39:900 (39900|0,40320|3) - here
16:11 Curiossity: you have streams for the first bit but not the second
16:11 Otakujanai: that's
16:11 Curiossity: while it's the same buzzing sounds
16:12 Otakujanai: 02:13:920 - different with here right
16:12 Otakujanai: ?
16:12 Otakujanai: i thought if i made that all streams it would be boring
16:12 Curiossity: i think the stream part is short enoug that it wouldn't get repetetive
16:12 Curiossity: and it's more consistent
16:13 Curiossity: if you have it like you do in the second kiai
16:13 Otakujanai: and might heard stuffs like part1 and part2 are ctrl+cved
16:13 Curiossity: switch the direction of the streams and it's more a e s t h e t i c
16:13 Curiossity: also i doubt people will call you for copy paste
16:13 Otakujanai: kk
16:13 Curiossity: 02:05:220 (125220|1,125280|2,125280|0,125280|3,125340|1,125400|3) - also wtf
16:13 Curiossity: ow
16:14 Otakujanai: that's
16:14 Otakujanai: what
16:14 Otakujanai: juankristal created
16:14 Curiossity: why did juan make it so
16:14 Otakujanai: during semifinal mappool pick,
16:14 Otakujanai: he said my patterns are inconsistent
16:14 Otakujanai: and told me to make like that
16:15 Otakujanai: dunno
16:15 Curiossity: hm
16:15 Otakujanai: i'll just put 02:05:400 (125400|3) - to line 3
16:15 Otakujanai: no
16:15 Curiossity: that would be the same issue
16:15 Otakujanai: anchor will be too long
16:15 Otakujanai: yeah
16:15 Curiossity: idk
16:16 Curiossity: you odn't have to change it now
16:16 Curiossity: just pointing out things that might need attention
16:16 Otakujanai: k
16:16 Curiossity: 00:48:000 (48000|0) - same thing as before with the streams
16:17 Otakujanai: yep i know
16:17 Curiossity: 00:51:360 (51360|1) - here, there's a short break before each new synth sound
16:17 Curiossity: in this section
16:17 Curiossity: so maybe take out the last note in each stream to reflect that, and a stutter sv or something
16:17 Curiossity: but
16:17 Curiossity: that might be too much
16:18 Curiossity: or not what you had in mind
16:18 Otakujanai: that's probably because of distortion effect while composing this thing
16:18 Curiossity: aye
16:18 Otakujanai: hmmm... what should i do
16:19 Curiossity: idk
16:19 Curiossity: also 01:03:300 (63300|3,63360|2,63420|3) - could be painful
16:19 Otakujanai: i think that note could be considered as
16:19 Otakujanai: drum note
16:19 Otakujanai: that's intended
16:19 Curiossity: right
16:19 Otakujanai: to break combo for last section of part 1
16:19 Otakujanai: to make players angry
16:19 Curiossity: lmao
16:20 Curiossity: 01:56:040 (116040|0) - also few reverse jacks or whatever you want to call them, if you were going to chagne them
16:20 Curiossity: if not nvm
16:20 Otakujanai: thus there are not much pattern i could pick
16:20 Curiossity: yeah true but
16:20 Otakujanai: yep i've already fixed those
16:21 Curiossity: 01:04:200 (64200|0,64260|1,64320|2,64380|1) - this transition here
16:21 Curiossity: is much easier since it's split between hands
16:21 Curiossity: but
16:21 Curiossity: it would be rearranging so
16:21 Curiossity: don't force it if the patterns don't line up
16:22 Curiossity: 02:13:200 (133200|3) - in sections like these
16:22 Curiossity: people might complain about inconsistency of jacks but i don't know how much of a problem that is
16:23 Otakujanai: that would be okay
16:23 Otakujanai: if bn's don't catch it
16:23 Otakujanai: might be problem if there are people who doesn't want this thing to be ranked
16:23 Curiossity: 02:25:200 (145200|0,145260|1,145320|2,145380|3) - and 00:51:120 (51120|0,51240|3) -
16:23 Curiossity: same sound but different layering/pattern
16:23 Curiossity: also yeah, but it's a good map
16:23 Curiossity: who doesn't want it ranked :c
16:24 Otakujanai: sv haters of course XP
16:24 Curiossity: o tur
16:24 Curiossity: true

Interesting chart, great SVs, but be careful of extreme anchors

Quick SV suggestion:

01:20:160 - I'd like to see a super super super slowjam here (do a 10-0,1 with 1/16 space) for every diffs and chords/doubles.

No kudosu pls

imo anchors are not always bad. They make players feel the main beat of the song. So since this hard diff's stream part is way easier than it's star rating, i'm pretty sure that using bit long anchors (up to 5 or 6) are okay.

Although teleportation effect that you suggested is good and make this map more fun, that doesn't fit with the other parts since I tried to make this chart to give players some soft, emotional impact, which means no dramatic effects will be used through whole map. Also, it is not that good to hit super slowjams like 0.1x or 0.15x which drops playability. Sorry for rejecting your suggestion and thanks for giving some attention to my map!

I don't think such effect of surprise will be suffered by players, as I tried it over and over to every diffs. Of course, before the actual high-density part - 01:31:680 - normalize it to previous SV before sudden warp thing. You can also mix and match SVs and make kinda warp that length looks drastically decreasing for every chords pressed on that part.
Too bad I can't feel the SVs on easier diffs, as I could recommend this map could be a beginner's introduction to SV changes. Be it like, shooting some mild stutters (1,3 - 0,7), bounces or anything else it could be.

Anyway, here, take my kudosu and rank it soon! o wo) or I'll punish you if your SV looks 100000000% uglier than mine

About SVs you recomended,

1. Applying SVs to easier diffs
-> Yes of course I also want to put bit lighter effects on easier diffs, especially for hard. However, not much SV maps have SVs in their normal or hard diff.
I think I can give four reasoning for this one.

1) Light users don't have much experience in the field of SVs and most of them usually don't like it, which also mean they don't need extra effects.
They usually play lightly just to enjoy music, so SVs could bother them while playing.

2) Mappers usually don't apply SVs for lighter diffs.
If they do apply SVs then SVs might overtake the feeling than the ones that are given normally by notes.
tbh it was quite questionable for me when I had lack of understanding about SVs, but not for now.

3) If SVs are made to be too light(since it should be at least lighter than harder diffs), it could make map less enjoyable.
What I mean is that it just simply distract players' concentration, while not giving good impacts.

4) As you can notice, SVs between 'Emotional Drift' and 'Fontes' Insane' is quite different.
If I also apply SVs for hard diff, some could say this mapset's SVs are inconsistent.

2. Teleportation effect / normalization
-> Slowjam effect should follow the sound in my opinion. Although sounds feels like closing 01:04:800 - all the way till 01:35:520 - however, there still exists strong background sounds. If there were no sounds, I would also agree to use slowjam around ~0.2x but it's not. Also I disagree with using SVs that make players feel sudden difference while there is no sound. I didn't meant that effect will surprise players, but they might feel strange and uncomfortable with the effect that seems to be not following the song, which drops the quality of experience they would get through this map.

Also this mapset is made by noob Otakujanai, not by me. just saying cuz this map revived from eternal slumber recently
So I just simply want to follow his SV mapping style.

Since I'm concerned that you might think I'm just rejecting with nonsense reasoning and have lack of experience using teleport/slowjam SVs, I'll put some map links here to say, I also like using those effects.
link 1 link 2 link 3 link 4 link 5 link 6

If you disagree with about my opinions feel free to ask me here or in-game.

This is a pretty good map, I just have a small concern regarding the spikes in Emotional Drift.

Switching the BPM to 250, you can see the spikes are pretty clear (https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9457553)

Upon further investigation, the first and second pink bars are jump-heavy dense 125bpm 1/8 snap handstreams which equates to 250bpm 1/4 snap. To put this into perspective, this is slightly harder than Celestial stinger with less dense patterns at 259bpm. However, comparing the spikes to the rest of the map - 125bpm 1/4snap jacks (perspective: Swampgator at 126bpm), with similar layering. In my opinion, the jacks in this map are much easier than the handstreams. The remainder of the map is single 250bpm stream with long LN - clearly a lot easier than the handstreams. I see that you are definitely keeping the overall difficulty of the map as smooth as possible (and here I'll just note that the difficulty is definitely not reflected in the Star Rating but lol who cares) but I think that the sudden handstream spike was way out of place, and my biggest concern - it calls for mash

Now I understand that the only alternative to maintain similar layering is changing these to jumptrills which is probably a big no-no for you (because if it wasn't you'd've already done so), but I do suggest trying some other pattern.

Note : This is just my opinion - If this wasn't helpful, always remember that you don't have to give kudosu

OKay I'll ask to BN about it during ranking process. If he/she says it's fine then I'll make it right away!

i generally try to understand the reasoning behind the anchors whenever i see them so sometimes i might miss the reasoning and say its an unnecessary one, but i'll try my best to see if any anchors i see in the future for any map is justified
