No idea. Maybe he delete the score to be forced to replay the map until get #1 another time and win skill.
Or he is trying to pass using mods and archive another score with the mod on.
How you delete a score? I didn't knew you can do that. You lose the PP and ranks too? Or only the score in way to set another one?

ExpertBOT still shows up at #1 for me, I don't believe there's a way of deleting a score unless you replace it with a higher score or the user who set the score is banned.

There is no way of deleting global scores.
