I've implemented almost everything except the last three and the long slider at 00:58:936. Could you give me a better idea for the long slider? I feel like rhythmwise, it matches the vocals, but I do see that it is trippy. For the last three, i'm pretty sure there is an extra snare. Would appreciate it if someone confirmed.

hi, my part of the m4m

your map contains more general issues than concrete issues, which i'll do my best to address below:

also you might wanna put the changelog in the map desc instead of a separate forum post

  1. all of these are general issues. you can find examples of all of them through the entire map.
  2. as a general point, it helps to make objects look like theyre equidistant from each other to make the map neat - you don't follow this in some places like 00:04:936 (3,4,1,2,3) - (note how 1 is closer to the red 3 than the red 4) which makes your map look a bit messy imo. equidistance is a great way to make your map look much neater.
  3. on the topic of messiness, your map contains plenty of unjustified overlaps (ie those not part of a pattern) like 00:18:561 (6,2) - , 00:21:436 (4,3) - , and 00:20:436 (6,2) - . try avoiding overlaps when possible by stacking when possible unless the overlaps are justified by being part of a pattern, as overlapping without a pattern behind it looks ugly to most players. 00:50:686 (1,2,3,4) - is an example of a justified overlap - you can clearly recognize that the objects repeat themselves consistently through this overlapping pattern.
  4. 00:03:561 (1,3) - imo it would be better to keep this parallel for reasons described below
  5. 00:04:311 (4,5,6,1,2) - i don't really see any recognizable pattern to this, other than that the flow is circular. i strongly suggest that you consider arranging your patterns in easily recognizable shapes. such as regular polygons, symmetrical patterns (such as 00:27:686 (1,2,3,4) - ), and parallel lines (a thing you can do for 00:54:686 (1,2,3,4) - instead of what you have now).
  6. 00:06:311 (4,5,6,1,2,3) - over here, you're switching from sharp flow (4,5,6) to wide flow (6, 1, 2, 3) even when thwe song is (imo) not doing anything out of the ordinary - stick to one kind of flow when the song isnt changing. (once again at 00:10:311 (4,5,6,1,2,3) - and 00:12:311 (4,5,6,1,2,3) - the correct way to handle this would be something like 00:14:311 (4,5,6,1,2,3) - where the flow remains sharp throughout)
  7. 00:06:936 (3,4,1,2,3) - also, spacing inconsistencies - even though these represent more or less the same sound, (4,1) is spaced much less than the others, implying that it's a much weaker sound when it actually isnt.
  8. 00:20:936 (2,3) - blanket fixes etc. don't underestimate blankets - they are key to making your map look much much neater.
  9. 00:25:686 (1,2,3) - this is nice usage of consistent slidershapes - however this could be improved, as it lacks visual appeal. arrange this in a triangle perhaps?
  10. 00:29:686 (7) - the reverses on this slider make it stand out too much from the other parts of the map here, giving it more emphasis than it needs.
  11. 00:31:186 - starting here, you up the intensity of the jumps by a large factor even though the song is still doing more or less the same thing. if anything, the jumps should get larger at 00:31:186 - since that's where the growl in the vocals gets noticably deeper.
  12. 01:06:686 - spacing varies variably in this section (for example compare 01:06:686 (1,2,3) - with 01:07:686 (1,2,3) - - the spacing between them is different even if they represent the same sounds.)
all in all, i think you need to seriously reconsider your object placements, as they lack structure, consistency, and visual aesthetic.
