Hmmm well I've never used osu! on a mac, but if there's a toolbar, then under File, there should be an option to Create a new Difficulty...Mirogas wrote:

There's no hotkey to create a new difficulty in windows, so there probably isn't one for mac either. I'd help more if I could :c
If all else fails, (I think you can do this on a mac?)
You can find your osu folder, then songs, then your beatmap's folder, then copy the file that ends with .osu so that you have two. This should give you two difficulties.

You can open the taskbar on top using cmd+f - it is hidden behind a black bar and as far as I know even clicking on the bar will open stuff.
Generally speaking, search is your friend, searching for "mac new difficulty" on the site immediately yields a result.
