Quality Quality Post Guide

Since it has been a topic now to find out the quality of the post
I shall attempt to find an equation for such a thing

*Note this formula is subjective

All the things that make good posts:

  1. Interesting Rating (T)
  2. Whether it was original (O)
  3. Information Rating (I)
  4. No. of words (N)
  5. Formatting (F)
  6. Use of language technique (L)
All the things that make a horrible post:

Repeating Concepts (R)
Poster Gender (G)

For the purpose of giving a less subjective rating, we have a yes no statement. This means less variable.
So we use the 1 or 2 system. If you agree, the number is 2. Else it is one.
This applies to:
Interest Rating
Originality
Information Rating

E.g. I find abraker's post Interesting, therefore it has an interesting rating of 2, else it would be 1

The no. of words is divided by 10 to as bigger the post more effort is required.

Use of language technique:
20 for use of each language technique listed:
  1. Rhyming
  2. Alliteration
  3. Assonance
  4. Metaphor
  5. Simile
Repetition of Concepts:
No one wants to read something you've already said
Therefore it should be penalised heavily with 5 x number of concepts repeated

For the last part
If you're a male poster, add 5
If you're a female poster, you get 0

Now here is the formula:

(T*O*I*N*20*L)/(50*R*G)

What do those mean?

When constructing forumulas for some index such as quality or rating, multiplying by constant is effectively redundant unless the result needs to be scaled. The way you have it, you are better off multiplying by 0.4

too much mathematics in this thread
