There is alot of overlap here, You can see it really easily beacause it's most of the time within one or two objects. Try to search yourself for overlaps like I mentioned so you know better how to avoid them in the future.

00:23:700 (2,3,4) - Just highlighting this piece of the combo as there is alot of it in the map, I would choose 2-3 patterns to map these and only use those instead of going for something different every time.

00:29:850 (3,2) - just showing that here you can easily remove the overlap by just stacking the notes

00:39:150 (7) - Use a more intense reverse (1/8 sohuld work)

00:46:800 (1,2) - Keep some complicated shapes here but increase SV

You also have a ton of overlap in this map, this is beacause you probably don't have that much experience with patterns but also beacause you stay on the centre of the screen. Utilise the edges more

This suffers from the same problem as the other 2, full of overlaps and weird patterns

Conclusion and what to do now: Try to find more patterns you can use to map and don't be afraid to stray form the centre of the screen as it will reduce overlaps greatly. Im not saying to copy ranked maps but look at some ranked maps and think what do these have in common.

If u want an example of how a part should be spaced I can send you a small example of this map when its respaced (It won't be that great but it will be okay enough to recognize some basic patterns)

SliderVelocity to 1.4 Like in Hard Diff, Any Higher is insane
Aswell, Dont do parts with 2x Slider Velocity either, Max 1.5 or lower for such a map

Just stay in a range of 0,7-1.0 Slider Velocity there, Its a Hard Difficulty , the Sliders are Insanely Fast!

Ar to 9: Maps under 5 Stars should never have AR over 9 unless very high bpm. I know for you, Ar 9.3 feels better, but its just too fast for that BPM.

I did this mod before your irc with gottagof4ast so some of these points may be invalid

Insane
  1. you need hitsounds! without hitsounds, the diff becomes very dull. also because the ranking criteria states that you need hitsounds
  2. 00:01:275 (4) - overmapped, there's no sound in the music to justify this triplet usage
  3. 00:01:950 (2,3,4) - ^ for circle 3
  4. 00:02:550 (6) - ^ should only repeat once then a circle like in this picture. you do these overmapping things again throughout the diff so I suggest listening to the entire diff again to make sure there are sounds in the music to justify your placed rhythm
  5. 00:06:750 (7,1) - NC's should be swapped around here since the triplet is when the next "measure" starts and not the slider
  6. 00:07:800 (1,3) - kinda sloppy placement, these sliders overlap making them look very unappealing. I suggest spacing them out a bit more so they do not overlap
  7. 00:08:850 (4,1) - space these out a bit more? circle 1 is pretty strong and therefore should be emphasised with increased spacing.
  8. 00:09:600 (1,2,3) - perhaps move this pattern so circle 1 stacks underneath previous circle 2? The music pauses momentarily at that point so stacking underneath that circle would help emphasise that pause with a cursor movement stop. example here
  9. 00:20:100 (1,1) - spacing too big. the song isn't even that intense at that part so the large spacing doesn't really fit
  10. 00:20:250 (1,2) - I wouldn't stack these objects tbh, that same drum hit can be heard at 00:20:400 (2) - so that too should be spaced just like the previous circles before it
  11. 00:21:900 (5,6) - I would go slider then circle here instead of circle then slider. there are held vocals at 00:21:900 (5) - so a slider here would accent that nicely. it would also make 00:22:199 (6) - clickable which would be nice since there is a vocal start and guitar rift
  12. 00:30:300 (2) - hard to read, I don't recommend placin this behind 00:29:700 (4) -
  13. 00:33:000 (3) - space this out a bit more? becuase you did previously at places like 00:30:600 (2) - , 00:31:800 (3) - .

  15. 00:34:650 (2,3,4) - circle circle slider seems to work better than slider circle circle. It allows all the strong vocals starts to be clickable

  17. 00:45:150 (3) - this is spaced too much for a sound in the music that is comparatively unimportant. It would make more sense to space out 00:45:000 (2) - instead
  18. 00:46:800 (1,1,1,1) - the song is still rather intense so using such an easy rhythm here isn't fitting at all. Consider using a more complex rhythm here instead. If not and you want to keep current rhythm, don't NC so much here since that's just NC abuse haha (NC affects drain)
  19. 00:55:950 (1,2) - over here you decide not to follow that instrument heard at 00:54:900 (1,2) - ? imo it would be best to follow that instrument again here
  20. 01:05:550 (2,3) - makes no sense to shorten spacing here especialyl for 1/2 rhythm. consider spacing it out more
  21. 01:16:050 (1) - this should start on that large white tick instead since that's the stronger guitar rift

You can rotate them, make a symmetrical copy with some Hotkeys, maybe change a note around 180°, but let the sliderangles (Ankors) and Distances the same. This is to master for all parts.. which is insane to do for Newbies like us >_> But i will try my best to explain:

hi, I come from #modreqs

[General]
  1. I'll only give you general tips on how to improve your stuffs a bit, since there is a lot of work before considering this for a ranked state.
  2. AiMod is a mapper's best friend. You might want to get familiar with this useful tool located in Files>Open AiMod or Ctrl+Shift+A
  3. Your timing points came to my attention. You are using many duplicate timing points with the same settings, which is useless since when adding a timing point with a specific characteristic, it is applied to every objects after the timing point you've set until you add a new timing point with other settings. You should take a look to these and clean that up! Also, talking about these, it's not suggested to use 100% volume points, so I'm suggesting you to make it lower :p

[Easy]
  1. You should take a look at the rhythm of your objects, how they could emphasize the song's elements such as the instruments, the vocals, etc.
    I've noticed that you were going too basic on what you are doing. I know it is a 200BPM song and this difficulty is labeled as an Easy difficulty, you should consider spicing it up to make sure everything makes sense and to make sure every object has a meaning. For an example, 00:00:600 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - I can consider this for a very easy Taiko difficulty because even thought the objects are placed in a consistent manner, there are huge gaps between every objects, which is quite boring.
  2. Be aware of the distance of your objects. For an Easy difficulty, I am always suggesting mappers to use the Distance Snap tool to make sure every objects has a consistent spacing between them. It doesn't make sense for such a low difficulty to have awkwardly jumps like that. Let's take for an example this circle: 00:04:800 (2) - . The previous spacing is 0,18x while the next object is located 1,83x away. In this case, having a 1,00x spacing between all yours objects will be more clean, overall.
  3. Be careful with slider shapes. I am happy that you are experiencing every aspects from sliders, but be careful for not doing unreadable or unfitting sliders such as 00:45:000 (1,1) - and 00:55:500 (2) - . The shape of these sliders seems pretty awkward considering the song and your general map. You might wanna try to get familiar with 3-nodes sliders before going into deep crazy things.
  4. 00:59:400 (1) - and 01:28:200 (1,2) - For Easy difficulties, it is not encouraged to use sliders with two or more reverses arrow, it might be confusing for beginner players. In the first case, you can easily transform this slider into two distinct sliders, or maybe try something else, while for the second case, try doing something else, for sure.

[Normal]
  1. A new difficulty arise! I'm suggesting you to apply every single suggestions from the Easy difficulty to any Normal difficulties.
  2. Normals are pretty much like easies, you should try to make it open to beginners. While the rhythm might feel more hard, try not to get crazy over it. Make sure everything has a meaning, again, and make sure there's a great consistency within your patterns.
  3. Distance snap is also a thing in Normal difficulties. It is always suggested to follow every objects in a respectable spacing. Once again, try to use the Distance Snap tool with a spacing of 1,00x. It will be cleaner if you take care of your spacings.

[Hard]
  1. This difficulty seems more organized than the two lower difficulties. However, you should consider the previous points to this difficulty as well.

[Insane]
  1. The thing that can be an issue here is the rhythm and the spacing, once again. As for the rhythm, you are not following the song quite well and every emphasizable sounds. As for the spacing, the emplacement of your objects might not be clearer than you think. The flow can be an issue and jumps are overly used in wrong manners.
    If we take a look to these objects: 01:51:750 (1,2,3,4,1,2,1,2,3,1,2) - the spacing is misinterpreted, since it would need a jump from 01:52:050 (3,4) - because the sounds are louder to these objects (01:51:900 (2,4) - ) If you want to experience something, try to stack the circle (3) with the circle (2), it will feel better.
    If we keep looking forward, 01:53:100 (1,2,3,1,2) - the lyrics are not well emphasized. The most strong beats are at 01:53:100 (1,3) - and 01:53:700 - 01:54:000 -. So, it would be better if the rhythm was something like this:

  1. I'll only give you general tips on how to improve your stuffs a bit, since there is a lot of work before considering this for a ranked state.
  2. AiMod is a mapper's best friend. You might want to get familiar with this useful tool located in Files>Open AiMod or Ctrl+Shift+A
  3. Your timing points came to my attention. You are using many duplicate timing points with the same settings, which is useless since when adding a timing point with a specific characteristic, it is applied to every objects after the timing point you've set until you add a new timing point with other settings. You should take a look to these and clean that up! Also, talking about these, it's not suggested to use 100% volume points, so I'm suggesting you to make it lower :p

[Easy]
  1. You should take a look at the rhythm of your objects, how they could emphasize the song's elements such as the instruments, the vocals, etc.
    I've noticed that you were going too basic on what you are doing. I know it is a 200BPM song and this difficulty is labeled as an Easy difficulty, you should consider spicing it up to make sure everything makes sense and to make sure every object has a meaning. For an example, 00:00:600 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - I can consider this for a very easy Taiko difficulty because even thought the objects are placed in a consistent manner, there are huge gaps between every objects, which is quite boring.
  2. Be aware of the distance of your objects. For an Easy difficulty, I am always suggesting mappers to use the Distance Snap tool to make sure every objects has a consistent spacing between them. It doesn't make sense for such a low difficulty to have awkwardly jumps like that. Let's take for an example this circle: 00:04:800 (2) - . The previous spacing is 0,18x while the next object is located 1,83x away. In this case, having a 1,00x spacing between all yours objects will be more clean, overall.
  3. Be careful with slider shapes. I am happy that you are experiencing every aspects from sliders, but be careful for not doing unreadable or unfitting sliders such as 00:45:000 (1,1) - and 00:55:500 (2) - . The shape of these sliders seems pretty awkward considering the song and your general map. You might wanna try to get familiar with 3-nodes sliders before going into deep crazy things.
  4. 00:59:400 (1) - and 01:28:200 (1,2) - For Easy difficulties, it is not encouraged to use sliders with two or more reverses arrow, it might be confusing for beginner players. In the first case, you can easily transform this slider into two distinct sliders, or maybe try something else, while for the second case, try doing something else, for sure.

[Normal]
  1. A new difficulty arise! I'm suggesting you to apply every single suggestions from the Easy difficulty to any Normal difficulties.
  2. Normals are pretty much like easies, you should try to make it open to beginners. While the rhythm might feel more hard, try not to get crazy over it. Make sure everything has a meaning, again, and make sure there's a great consistency within your patterns.
  3. Distance snap is also a thing in Normal difficulties. It is always suggested to follow every objects in a respectable spacing. Once again, try to use the Distance Snap tool with a spacing of 1,00x. It will be cleaner if you take care of your spacings.

[Hard]
  1. This difficulty seems more organized than the two lower difficulties. However, you should consider the previous points to this difficulty as well.

[Insane]
  1. The thing that can be an issue here is the rhythm and the spacing, once again. As for the rhythm, you are not following the song quite well and every emphasizable sounds. As for the spacing, the emplacement of your objects might not be clearer than you think. The flow can be an issue and jumps are overly used in wrong manners.
    If we take a look to these objects: 01:51:750 (1,2,3,4,1,2,1,2,3,1,2) - the spacing is misinterpreted, since it would need a jump from 01:52:050 (3,4) - because the sounds are louder to these objects (01:51:900 (2,4) - ) If you want to experience something, try to stack the circle (3) with the circle (2), it will feel better.
    If we keep looking forward, 01:53:100 (1,2,3,1,2) - the lyrics are not well emphasized. The most strong beats are at 01:53:100 (1,3) - and 01:53:700 - 01:54:000 -. So, it would be better if the rhythm was something like this:

General: I got a yelling too, but don't change the bpm for sliders if you want this ranked. Also, I recommend using blankets because this map looks like it was supposed to be from 2013. Also, I stopped on yelling at nc's cause either you can figure that yourself or leave it.


  • 00:03:000 (1) - make this head on the same curve with 00:02:550 (6,7,1) - ;00:03:900 (2) - make this one also the same curve as 00:02:550 (6,7,1)
  • 00:05:100 (1) - i dont think there's a reason to nc this
  • 00:10:200 (1,2) - revise this or change the slider shape; ends aren't similar and one has a larger gap than the other -- even though they might be the same slider --
  • 00:12:600 (5) - make this look better
  • 00:15:600 (4,5,6,7,8) - ds inconsistent
  • 00:17:850 (2,2) - bad overlap
  • 00:20:400 (4) - make this slider look better and nc it cuz sv change
