[General]
- I'll only give you general tips on how to improve your stuffs a bit, since there is a lot of work before considering this for a ranked state.
- AiMod is a mapper's best friend. You might want to get familiar with this useful tool located in Files>Open AiMod or Ctrl+Shift+A
- Your timing points came to my attention. You are using many duplicate timing points with the same settings, which is useless since when adding a timing point with a specific characteristic, it is applied to every objects after the timing point you've set until you add a new timing point with other settings. You should take a look to these and clean that up! Also, talking about these, it's not suggested to use 100% volume points, so I'm suggesting you to make it lower :p
[Easy]
- You should take a look at the rhythm of your objects, how they could emphasize the song's elements such as the instruments, the vocals, etc.
I've noticed that you were going too basic on what you are doing. I know it is a 200BPM song and this difficulty is labeled as an Easy difficulty, you should consider spicing it up to make sure everything makes sense and to make sure every object has a meaning. For an example, 00:00:600 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - I can consider this for a very easy Taiko difficulty because even thought the objects are placed in a consistent manner, there are huge gaps between every objects, which is quite boring.- Be aware of the distance of your objects. For an Easy difficulty, I am always suggesting mappers to use the Distance Snap tool to make sure every objects has a consistent spacing between them. It doesn't make sense for such a low difficulty to have awkwardly jumps like that. Let's take for an example this circle: 00:04:800 (2) - . The previous spacing is 0,18x while the next object is located 1,83x away. In this case, having a 1,00x spacing between all yours objects will be more clean, overall.
- Be careful with slider shapes. I am happy that you are experiencing every aspects from sliders, but be careful for not doing unreadable or unfitting sliders such as 00:45:000 (1,1) - and 00:55:500 (2) - . The shape of these sliders seems pretty awkward considering the song and your general map. You might wanna try to get familiar with 3-nodes sliders before going into deep crazy things.
- 00:59:400 (1) - and 01:28:200 (1,2) - For Easy difficulties, it is not encouraged to use sliders with two or more reverses arrow, it might be confusing for beginner players. In the first case, you can easily transform this slider into two distinct sliders, or maybe try something else, while for the second case, try doing something else, for sure.
[Normal]
- A new difficulty arise! I'm suggesting you to apply every single suggestions from the Easy difficulty to any Normal difficulties.
- Normals are pretty much like easies, you should try to make it open to beginners. While the rhythm might feel more hard, try not to get crazy over it. Make sure everything has a meaning, again, and make sure there's a great consistency within your patterns.
- Distance snap is also a thing in Normal difficulties. It is always suggested to follow every objects in a respectable spacing. Once again, try to use the Distance Snap tool with a spacing of 1,00x. It will be cleaner if you take care of your spacings.
[Hard]
- This difficulty seems more organized than the two lower difficulties. However, you should consider the previous points to this difficulty as well.
[Insane]
- The thing that can be an issue here is the rhythm and the spacing, once again. As for the rhythm, you are not following the song quite well and every emphasizable sounds. As for the spacing, the emplacement of your objects might not be clearer than you think. The flow can be an issue and jumps are overly used in wrong manners.
If we take a look to these objects: 01:51:750 (1,2,3,4,1,2,1,2,3,1,2) - the spacing is misinterpreted, since it would need a jump from 01:52:050 (3,4) - because the sounds are louder to these objects (01:51:900 (2,4) - ) If you want to experience something, try to stack the circle (3) with the circle (2), it will feel better.
If we keep looking forward, 01:53:100 (1,2,3,1,2) - the lyrics are not well emphasized. The most strong beats are at 01:53:100 (1,3) - and 01:53:700 - 01:54:000 -. So, it would be better if the rhythm was something like this:
