Hi from mod queue! When you say "Skip Hell Oni" I guess you mean Inner Oni?

I think this diff is actually really good :D
I think you should stick to having d triples on red ticks in the kiai though, it makes for some pretty interesting structure.

Thanks for giving me my first mod ever! :)

I really forgot to mention that I took out the Hell Oni diff, bc people told me it would be too similar to my Inner Oni in regards of difficulty to be ranked.
Now I still decided to put it in, but bc of my stupidity neither Inner Oni nor Hell Oni would get a mod from you.. I better watch out next time :o

(or I just don't get what you really want) bc I really don't want to use what's left after removing (41) and (43)

00:15:519 (34,38) - These circles are k, so to follow your logic you should change this 00:19:519 (68) to k (and I think it's better).

Finde den OD-Spread komisch, der Sprung von OD 5 auf OD 6.5 ist ein bisschen krass. 3 - 4 - 5 - 5.5/6 - 6/6.5 - 7 wäre besser imo.
Difficulty-Spread: Finde den Spike zwischen Muzu und Oni bzw. Oni und Inner Oni relativ groß, dunno vielleicht bin das nur ich.
Bei Vortex' Diffs kann das s nach dem Deppenapostroph weg: Vortex' Kantan / Hell Oni (grammarnazi und so)

-HP Spread amongst difficulties:
The HP stays at 6 all the Time, it should start out higher at 8 or so in the Kantan (depending on map length/density), and gradually decrease and settle to something lower (also dependent on map length/density)
My recommendation would be: Kantan HP8 Futsuu HP7 Muzulashii HP6.5; Oni HP6; Inner Oni HP5.5; Hell Oni HP5.5

-Nitpicking for BG:
To make it look a little better ingame, change the line in all .osu files to this in order to align the sun in the BG to look nicer:

00:17:519 (23,24,25,26) - Having this combo structure kinda falls out of the ordinary, and misses out a possible emphasis at 00:17:519 - with the twinkle sounds you mapped to in proceeding parts.

00:20:186 (27,28,29,30) - this is the same musical part as in 00:30:853 (43,44,45,46,47) - but mapped to leave out the loud snareish drums, i suggest you change it so both emphasize the loud snareish drums.

00:33:519 (48,49,50,51,52,53,54,55,56,57,58,59) - I think these 3 combosets together dont really have a really good intention on why you mapped them that way. They contain jarring 3/2 spacing which can be avoided, and also leave out more important sounds in the music.
-> 00:33:519 (48,49,50,51) - I agree that the 3 kats are mapped on the zap sounds in the background, but in my opinion its better to stick to a structure like 00:28:186 (39,40,41,42) - to firstly, emphasize the twinkle sounds which are more prominent, and secondly, to keep the structure quite predictable for a lesser skilled Kantan player.
-> 00:36:186 (52,53,54,55) - there is just really nothing justifying this comboset as far as i can see, leaving out the loud snareish drum sound at 00:36:519 - makes the sound feel left out, so again i would suggest a note placement much like 00:28:186 (39,40,41,42) - , to keep it predictable and emphasize the more prominent sounds.

00:43:853 (1) - Shorten the spinner to not make the 30 hits too exhausting for a kantan player?

Maybe Change it to make it uniform?

Summary: Kantan with rather short combos containing 1/1, 3/4 breaks, and occasional 3/2 spacing

There is too much to change if i want to list it, im going to give you some hints what you can emphasize:
00:33:519 - twinkle sounds + some 1/2 to even out the small difficulty gap between futsuu and kantan?
00:35:186 - these very noticeable snare drums have also been ignored, please change that somehow.

01:22:353 (72,73,74) - K K D because of Snares and then deep bass thump?

01:32:519 (97) - k because of pitch relative to the other ones?

01:33:019 (98,99,100) - K K K because its 2 snares and then a cymbal?

The Kiai in general: The Kiai lacks 1/2 altogether, where as the Kantan really had quite dense 1/1 here, i suggest you add in 1/2 to the twinkle sounds i referred to in the nonkiai section, tho i cant say much how because id change it too much. Adding the 1/2 would make the spread much better tho.

Summary: Futsuu with few 1/2 at about 30% in the map, being too close in difficulty with the kantan. Consider adding 1/2 more (and more smoothly as in example of 00:22:853 (29,30) - , which can be executed better). Frequent 3/2 gaps making it aligned with the gap usage in kantan!

00:08:519 (20,22,24) - snares not emphasized, why not make them k? helps differentiate the sounds!

Mapping to the background noises is fine here, tho i dont understand why the prominent 'whoosh'-y sounds were ignored at 00:35:186 (139) - ; 00:36:519 (144) - and 00:42:019 (170) -

For 00:42:019 (170) - it would help to simply color it blue, for the other points try to do something different, because these sounds are indeed worthy to be emphasized!

01:22:186 (152,153,154,155,156,157,158,159) - This is mapped completely different than 01:32:519 (208,209,210,211,212,213) - this, which is the identical piece of music, please make it uniform between the 2, but i advise you to map the 2nd timestamp denser like the 1st timestamp.
So to these 2 Timestamps, try to map them both denser, and try to get the emphasis on the snare drum, it appears often in the song and provides a kind of split between sections, so you shouldnt leave it out!

01:32:853 - and there should be a note here to make it sound better c:

Summary: Muzukashii with a few 1/4, but could use more because of the oni's 1/4 density. Futsuu seems a little bit far away from this, so my suggestions in futsuu were to increase 1/2 density because the muzu is like this.

00:10:853 (41,42,43,44,1) - Sounds more like a kdkkk to me, or a kdkkd if you want to remain fairly simple, the pitch variations in the 1/4 do sound like a kdkkd, but the finisher sound at the end might aswell make it a kdkkk.

00:11:186 - to 00:21:853 - (assuming you placed k's where the melody lines up)

00:21:019 (74,75,76,77,78,79,80,81,82) - the Snare finisher sounds are emphasized differently than 00:31:686 (158,159,160,161) -
Please do it Uniformly and use the less denser version to reduce the difficulty of the Oni for Spread Reasons!

00:20:353 (70) - color to d, the melody doesnt really line up?
00:20:519 (71) - every melody ding has a 1/4 triplet hung onto it, why not do the same for this one and add a note at 00:20:603 -?

00:21:853 - to 00:48:519 -

00:33:353 (166,167,168,169,170,171,172,173,174,175,176) - these Triplets can be much better used to emphasize the twinkle again, consider doing so.
In the parts where the snare finishers come into play very often ( 00:35:186 - to 00:43:853 - ) they can be much more emphasized than the background
to be fair. For example 00:35:186 - this is d while theres that sound that doenst quite fit the d mapped to it. Consider relistening and adjusting to these
sounds.
My personal preference to emphasize them (emphasis on personal) would be to put a 1/4 kkd every time that sound shows up to properly show its there,
but what you do is up to you!

01:21:853 - From this point on the Kiai is WAY too hard considering the previous difficulties.

I suggest you try nerfing the difficulty Spikes at 01:25:853
(108,109,110,111,112,113,114,115,116,117,118,119,120,121,122,123,124,125,126,127,128,129,130,131,132,133,134,135) - ; which are followed by
a section in the music of the same intensity, but only mapped in 1/2. That seems very unbalanced and too hard in Difficulty for this Oni.
01:30:519 (150,151,152,153,154,155,156,157,158,159,160,161,162,163,164,165,166,167,168) - Same goes for this.
Consider mapping that 2nd half easier aswell as keeping the difficulty continuous.

Other than that, heres some stuff for the Kiai:
Assuming you mapped k's on the melody:
01:13:019 (5) - should be a k ; aswell as 01:13:103 (6) - since the melody needs a stronger impact than just 1 k to be heard clearly in 1/4
01:15:769 (28) - this should be a k aswell, to make the melody more audible again.

Im afraid i cant say a lot about this diff other than to me, the Kats put into 1/4 dont make too much sense to me, for example:
01:15:853 (35,36,37,38,39,40,41,42,43,44,45) - this is following the melody snap on, whereas
01:16:853 (46,47,48,49,50,51,52,53,54,55,56) - this is following the background much more, even tho the melody is still present.

and this such as 00:16:186 (40,41,42,43) - just contradicts the music, which sounds like a kdkkd to me, where you put a ddd k.

Adding some 1/2 to the Futsuu (included in my suggestions) will help to make Kantan and Futsuu well spaced aswell as to allow muzukashii to be a little more dense with 1/4, making the Jump from Muzu to Oni well spaced, considering if you nerfed the Oni (especially later parts).


I really hope this Mod does not sound too agressive and destructive, please consider this is my view on things trying to consider your view as best as can.

-> 00:26:353 (39) - I suggest you shift this back 1/2, this sound is barely audible, its better to map to the background in my opinion... replaced it at 00:26:186 -

00:32:519 - to 00:43:186 - I understand what you were trying to do, but its not the main focus you can put into this part.
There is too much to change if i want to list it, im going to give you some hints what you can emphasize:
00:33:519 - twinkle sounds + some 1/2 to even out the small difficulty gap between futsuu and kantan? reworked most stuff there, should look fine now
00:35:186 - these very noticeable snare drums have also been ignored, please change that somehow. put a K on every spot you can hear the snare

01:22:353 (72,73,74) - K K D because of Snares and then deep bass thump? okay

01:32:519 (97) - k because of pitch relative to the other ones? okay

01:33:019 (98,99,100) - K K K because its 2 snares and then a cymbal? okay!

The Kiai in general: The Kiai lacks 1/2 altogether, where as the Kantan really had quite dense 1/1 here, i suggest you add in 1/2 to the twinkle sounds i referred to in the nonkiai section, tho i cant say much how because id change it too much. Adding the 1/2 would make the spread much better tho. Kiai added at 00:32:519 - !

Summary: Futsuu with few 1/2 at about 30% in the map, being too close in difficulty with the kantan. Consider adding 1/2 more (and more smoothly as in example of 00:22:853 (29,30) - , which can be executed better). Frequent 3/2 gaps making it aligned with the gap usage in kantan!

Mapping to the background noises is fine here, tho i dont understand why the prominent 'whoosh'-y sounds were ignored at 00:35:186 (139) - ; 00:36:519 (144) - and 00:42:019 (170) - first half fixed to be finisher, other one just colored blue

For 00:42:019 (170) - it would help to simply color it blue, for the other points try to do something different, because these sounds are indeed worthy to be emphasized! as stated above!

01:22:186 (152,153,154,155,156,157,158,159) - This is mapped completely different than 01:32:519 (208,209,210,211,212,213) - this, which is the identical piece of music, please make it uniform between the 2, but i advise you to map the 2nd timestamp denser like the 1st timestamp.
So to these 2 Timestamps, try to map them both denser, and try to get the emphasis on the snare drum, it appears often in the song and provides a kind of split between sections, so you shouldnt leave it out! tried to adjust the density, but to uniform them I feel I had to redo the entire last half of the kiai section. also changed 01:22:186 (152,153,154,155,156,157,158,159) to match first half in terms of patterns

01:32:853 - and there should be a note here to make it sound better c: added!

Summary: Muzukashii with a few 1/4, but could use more because of the oni's 1/4 density. Futsuu seems a little bit far away from this, so my suggestions in futsuu were to increase 1/2 density because the muzu is like this.

00:10:853 (41,42,43,44,1) - Sounds more like a kdkkk to me, or a kdkkd if you want to remain fairly simple, the pitch variations in the 1/4 do sound like a kdkkd, but the finisher sound at the end might aswell make it a kdkkk. changed to kdkkd!

00:11:186 - to 00:21:853 - (assuming you placed k's where the melody lines up)

00:21:019 (74,75,76,77,78,79,80,81,82) - the Snare finisher sounds are emphasized differently than 00:31:686 (158,159,160,161) -
Please do it Uniformly and use the less denser version to reduce the difficulty of the Oni for Spread Reasons! 1. matches 2. now!

00:20:353 (70) - color to d, the melody doesnt really line up? recolored!
00:20:519 (71) - every melody ding has a 1/4 triplet hung onto it, why not do the same for this one and add a note at 00:20:603 -? added k!

00:21:853 - to 00:48:519 -

00:33:353 (166,167,168,169,170,171,172,173,174,175,176) - these Triplets can be much better used to emphasize the twinkle again, consider doing so. somehow tried to adjust them, perhaps there is a better way of doing so.
In the parts where the snare finishers come into play very often ( 00:35:186 - to 00:43:853 - ) they can be much more emphasized than the background
to be fair. For example 00:35:186 - this is d while theres that sound that doenst quite fit the d mapped to it. Consider relistening and adjusting to these
sounds. adjusted!
My personal preference to emphasize them (emphasis on personal) would be to put a 1/4 kkd every time that sound shows up to properly show its there,
but what you do is up to you! every snare has a finisher sound now, maybe there is still a better way of emphasize them

01:21:853 - From this point on the Kiai is WAY too hard considering the previous difficulties.

I suggest you try nerfing the difficulty Spikes at 01:25:853
(108,109,110,111,112,113,114,115,116,117,118,119,120,121,122,123,124,125,126,127,128,129,130,131,132,133,134,135) - ; which are followed by
a section in the music of the same intensity, but only mapped in 1/2. That seems very unbalanced and too hard in Difficulty for this Oni.
01:30:519 (150,151,152,153,154,155,156,157,158,159,160,161,162,163,164,165,166,167,168) - Same goes for this.
Consider mapping that 2nd half easier aswell as keeping the difficulty continuous. adjusted the diff spikes!

Other than that, heres some stuff for the Kiai:
Assuming you mapped k's on the melody:
01:13:019 (5) - should be a k ; aswell as 01:13:103 (6) - since the melody needs a stronger impact than just 1 k to be heard clearly in 1/4 sounds good, changed!
01:15:769 (28) - this should be a k aswell, to make the melody more audible again. same as before!

Im afraid i cant say a lot about this diff other than to me, the Kats put into 1/4 dont make too much sense to me, for example:
01:15:853 (35,36,37,38,39,40,41,42,43,44,45) - this is following the melody snap on, whereas
01:16:853 (46,47,48,49,50,51,52,53,54,55,56) - this is following the background much more, even tho the melody is still present.

and this such as 00:16:186 (40,41,42,43) - just contradicts the music, which sounds like a kdkkd to me, where you put a ddd k.

Id say you should look over this map considering your k placement and emphasis in general, from the twinkle sounds, snare drums you looked over in previous diff, and change patterns accordingly.

Adding some 1/2 to the Futsuu (included in my suggestions) will help to make Kantan and Futsuu well spaced aswell as to allow muzukashii to be a little more dense with 1/4, making the Jump from Muzu to Oni well spaced, considering if you nerfed the Oni (especially later parts).


I really hope this Mod does not sound too agressive and destructive, please consider this is my view on things trying to consider your view as best as can.
