General

soft-sliderslide.wav isn't at least 100ms long, which is the minimum for a .wav according to the ranking criteria. these get looped anyway, so just loop it like 20 times or so in an audio editor and you should be fine (yours is 6ms)

Consider swapping the orange and blue-green combo colors, combo1 and combo2 are pretty similar, and combo3 and 4 are pretty similar. If you swap those two, it adds a bit more diversity visually. This is super optional though, feel free to just ignore this.

Easy

HP 1 is too low, use HP 2 instead.

00:13:640 (1) - Think you can do a better rhythm here to follow the vocals. Consider something like this - https://puu.sh/vMx2D/633e05bda7.jpg
^A similar rhythm to what i suggest also would apply to things like 00:24:190 (1,2,3) - where currently you're mapping white ticks and skipping vocals on 00:24:684, 0025:014, 00:25:344
01:02:767 - vocal on tail isn't good here, maybe make 01:02:437 - a circle and then have 01:02:767 - be a slider?
01:14:305 (2) - Spacing inconsistency

nice diff

captin normal

I notice that when you use a slower SV, you up the DS so that the 1/2 gaps dont overlap, I suggest you just keep the DS consistent and just let it overlap. Seems kinda weird to have slower sliders but than have everything be spaced the same visually.

Overall the kiai feels pretty underwhelming in terms of rhythm. Parts like 00:51:888 (1,2) and 01:02:437 (1) are undermapping the song, especially consdering you didn't' hesitate to use a lot of 1/2 rhythms earlier when the song was weaker. Consider implementing more 1/2 rhythms to appropriately match the songs intensity.

Things like 00:57:162 (1,2) - this part are fine because of the 1/1 vocals, but especially when there are 1/2 vocals going on you shouldn't be undermapping them like this.

Not much else to say, I didn't agree with rhythm in the start (you skipped a lot of vocals :c), but you were consistent so I can't complain much.

Hard

00:15:618 (6,7,8) - doesnt really fit with your vocal focused rhythm to this point. 00:15:783 (7,8) a ctlr+g of these two would provide a better rhythm. (adjust the pattern after, of course :p)
00:21:552 (1) - Seems like a really excessive slowdown, especially for a hard. I can imagine players not being able to read this. I tried .5 and that seemed a lot better; consider that?
00:24:025 (1,2,3) - Fix stacking, same for 00:24:190 (3,5) -
00:25:014 - extended vocal here, so similar to earlier a ctrl+g of 00:24:849 (6,7) - would provide a better rhythm.

00:29:464 (1,2,3,4,5) - The vocals are grouped in sections of 3 and should be mapped accordingly imo (Your insane diff does this properly). See what you did for 00:18:915 (1,2,3); I suggest doing something similar to this. If you don't want to just use reverse sliders again, you could do someting like this - https://puu.sh/vMxTA/abf3f520a4.jpg

00:49:250 (1,1) - Consider using two circles instead of a single 1/2 slider, would fit the intensity of those sounds better.

Insane

00:15:618 (6,7) - ctrl+g would provide better rhyth imo, considering 00:15:783 - is a held vocal. Same applies to 00:26:168 (3,4) -
00:37:041 (7) - consider making this the stream instead, consider it's the most intense drums in this section.
00:40:020 (1) - Making this two circles would differentiate it from the vocals later in the measure. If you applie this, make 00:46:283 (5) - a 1/2 slider for consistency.
On a similar note to the above, 00:41:338 (1,2,3,4) - vs 00:46:613 (1,2,3) - is a bit of an inconsistency. Better if you pick one rhythm and use it for both measures, considering they're extremely similar. I personally like 00:46:613 (1) - because the way you set up the sliders into a triangle formation relates well with the 3 vocals conceptually.
00:51:558 (6) - should be slower imo, would be much more impactful of an SV boost if this was a slow slider.
01:05:569 (3) - based on how you seem to be emphasizing vocals via spacing (i.e. 01:03:261 (5) - ), this seems like it deserves a bit more spacing than what you have. Maybe you can move 3 and 4 so that 01:05:569 (3)'s tail stacks on 01:04:250 (2)'s head
01:06:228 (1) - NC 01:06:393 (3) - instead? Especially since for 01:08:866 (6,7,1) - you NC the downbeat. Regardless of what you do, be consistent with it.
01:16:942 (5) - NC

Hope I could help out in some way. Good luck!

01:02:767 - vocal on tail isn't good here, maybe make 01:02:437 - a circle and then have 01:02:767 - be a slider? i have no issue with vocals on slider tails

00:21:552 (1) - Seems like a really excessive slowdown, especially for a hard. I can imagine players not being able to read this. I tried .5 and that seemed a lot better; consider that? i don't think so, considering the player's cursor isn't in fast motion given the 1/4 slider repeat sliders before it
00:24:025 (1,2,3) - Fix stacking, same for 00:24:190 (3,5) - fixed, i think
00:25:014 - extended vocal here, so similar to earlier a ctrl+g of 00:24:849 (6,7) - would provide a better rhythm. would cause same problem as mentioned previously

00:29:464 (1,2,3,4,5) - The vocals are grouped in sections of 3 and should be mapped accordingly imo (Your insane diff does this properly). See what you did for 00:18:915 (1,2,3); I suggest doing something similar to this. If you don't want to just use reverse sliders again, you could do someting like this - https://puu.sh/vMxTA/abf3f520a4.jpg will try and change

00:49:250 (1,1) - Consider using two circles instead of a single 1/2 slider, would fit the intensity of those sounds better. i prefer sliders

Insane

00:15:618 (6,7) - ctrl+g would provide better rhyth imo, considering 00:15:783 - is a held vocal. Same applies to 00:26:168 (3,4) - same as hard
00:37:041 (7) - consider making this the stream instead, consider it's the most intense drums in this section. just made the whole thing a stream
00:40:020 (1) - Making this two circles would differentiate it from the vocals later in the measure. If you applie this, make 00:46:283 (5) - a 1/2 slider for consistency. i suppose but i'm more comfortable with how it is now
On a similar note to the above, 00:41:338 (1,2,3,4) - vs 00:46:613 (1,2,3) - is a bit of an inconsistency. Better if you pick one rhythm and use it for both measures, considering they're extremely similar. I personally like 00:46:613 (1) - because the way you set up the sliders into a triangle formation relates well with the 3 vocals conceptually. hm perhaps i view this differently. in the case in which two measures are similar i see this as an opportunity to use variation in patterns to avoid repetition
00:51:558 (6) - should be slower imo, would be much more impactful of an SV boost if this was a slow slider. that would be unnecessary imo, i really only like to change sv with discernible changes in the song's pacing
01:05:569 (3) - based on how you seem to be emphasizing vocals via spacing (i.e. 01:03:261 (5) - ), this seems like it deserves a bit more spacing than what you have. Maybe you can move 3 and 4 so that 01:05:569 (3)'s tail stacks on 01:04:250 (2)'s head good suggestion, changed
01:06:228 (1) - NC 01:06:393 (3) - instead? Especially since for 01:08:866 (6,7,1) - you NC the downbeat. Regardless of what you do, be consistent with it. put the nc on 6
01:16:942 (5) - NC yes

Hope I could help out in some way. Good luck!

I notice that when you use a slower SV, you up the DS so that the 1/2 gaps dont overlap, I suggest you just keep the DS consistent and just let it overlap. Seems kinda weird to have slower sliders but than have everything be spaced the same visually. i think it's fine as an overall design choice in the map since they're always after sliders. with the way sliders work this should feel just as intuitive as keeping 1.0 spacing and maintains the visual style that i'm looking for. could also blab about polarity consistency but nobody cares about that anyways

Overall the kiai feels pretty underwhelming in terms of rhythm. Parts like 00:51:888 (1,2) and 01:02:437 (1) are undermapping the song, especially consdering you didn't' hesitate to use a lot of 1/2 rhythms earlier when the song was weaker. hi from my queue~

Captin's Normal

Insane
- 00:10:673 (1,1) - overlap
- 00:30:618 (4,1) - blanket
- 01:15:294 (5,1) - overlap
- 01:23:865 (2,3) - blanket

Captin's Extra
- 00:31:443 (3,1) - not bad overlap, but you can move slider 1
- 00:31:443 (3,1) - idk, i feel its weird. you can change or keep it

thats all for me, gluck ;)

no changes on my diffs, the blankets are fine and that overlap is intentional on normal, and i prefer my current placements on extra

thanks!

Hard
00:39:606 (4) - could use triple here from drums

Insane
00:10:673 (1,1) - I'm not a fan of this overlap but it isn't that significant

01:09:937 (6) - I would add a note between 01:09:525 (5,7) - here to match the vocals
OR
01:09:525 (5) - reduce the length of this slider and a triple here with the slider 01:09:855 (6,7,8) -

00:50:734 (1) - Instead of this reverse slider I would add single notes to match 00:51:228 (2,3) -

00:57:739 (5) - A note here could be added between 00:57:492 (4,5) - to match the 1/4 beat pattern that you used for 00:58:399 (8,1) - and 00:56:997 (1,2,3) -

01:04:250 (2) - You can increase this slider to the blue tick but that's just me i think it sounds fine without it as well

Sorry for a short post hopefully it helped tho good luck :)

  • 00:30:454 (3,4) - stacks are off lol
  • 00:48:756 (3,1) - the DS here is weird and not pretty consistent as the others are using 1x ds (i'd consider that multi bpm is the same bpm as 182 though LOL)
  • mind to explain what are these spacings for on a normal diff? firstly it went a normal constant DS though, then on that 1/2 note, u went on 1.4x ds there, like 00:16:278 (1,2) - for example

this is all i could find though. as i have expected from you guys LOL
