taiko ctb and mania were mini games x)
You need to be a lot more detailed. "Mini games" can mean literally anything...
Id say since Osu! is like 4 games in one it kinda already has mini-games. Try to be more specific c:
Too vague. Better give a specific minigame that can be good enough to be implemented and used by other players.

osu! ware kinda like wario ware
osu troop!. good troop but with osu characters and online play.
osu party!. mario party but with osu characters.
i am done!.
Just go play those games... It isnt worth making new games for osu if the only thing that is different are the visuals
