I feel like Discord is the perfect platform to gather up any active taiko players, regardless of what platform they're using. Does anyone know of a currently existing one? If not, is there any interest in getting one going?

I do know of a few Taiko Discord community servers but as I am not the one in charge of them not sure if it would be OK to send out invite. I can ask though
I know of one which has lots of high-level players but is mainly Japanese-based and is not that active

Perhaps one could be started that is aimed at osu!taiko audiences? For everything from a casual chatting lounge to a place where you can discuss gameplay techniques, post scores you're proud of, post links to youtube videos of taiko plays, discuss hardware, etc.
I run a discord that is mostly taiko oriented but is pretty general banter as well. Few of the old #taiko guys hang out there. Not super active but it's something. Anyone's free to join anyways.
