it's done. 221 mill, GL/HF. for those who, despite their aged style, adore the DragonForce maps from back in the day, here's another 6 and a half minutes of Lesjuh-like dragons, forces, and AR8.

It's been mapped like this in accordance with this map. ( 00:30:027 (1,1) - ) osu!auto gets a 1000 bonus score on it(barely), i reliably get a 300 on it(barely), so i'm strongly opposed to changing it.

General thoughts: Better than Lesjuh, worse than Jenny. Many streams literally same that it makes me think whether they are just placeholder streams or not

00:09:913 (2) - 00:12:313 (2) - 00:14:713 (2) - 00:17:113 (2) - (and so on) - As i said, all of these are the same. Boring! delete some of the (2s) and place medium spacing emphasis after holdkicksliders on some of the streams to make it different. Now it is just same stuff over and over again. For 16 (edit: oh my god its actually 32 fml) measures.
00:13:288 (7,8) - these feel much more together than others, could just become into 1/4 sliders on some places. Again, a lot of variation can happen, just gotta listen into the music.
00:24:988 (3,4) - same stuff, but also a higher note.
00:43:438 - can hear a unique drum part here. Variation ples!
00:51:238 (2) - why the red point end
00:53:038 (1,2) - oh I did understand why the red points. Why the white point end here, though?
01:24:688 (1,1) - not like it is hard to read, but I think spacing emphasis should be here because the beats are really strong on these ticks https://puu.sh/v6ItC/ae11fe1a49.png something like that would be fun (just an example)
02:02:488 (4,5) - spacing emphasis sometimes disappears in this map
02:15:238 - strong beat here cuz the drums are doin special things again (02:14:038 - compared to this which you mapped correctly)
04:18:238 - this entire kiai needs more variation. It is the same thing for 40 seconds eeeh
06:07:438 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,1) - so much action with the guitar, drums goin ham and spacing is lower than ever before lmao. Hopefully this is just a placeholder

:arrow: i'm kinda opposed to any sorts of fancy beat placement variations being this early into the map - lesjuh's through the fire and flames did this very similarly with its fast riffs at the start and end, this is a bit different but should have the same kind of theme i think

:arrow: it's a way to force the old slider algorithm, it's a lot easier to just make a red sliderend but i somehow did it earlier in the map using white sliderpoints only. still, it works as intended so don't care enough to change it

:arrow: nah, not deviating from the 1.0x stream spacing here, but i made a zigzag like shape that should be more interesting to play
02:02:488 (4,5) - spacing emphasis sometimes disappears in this map
:arrow: didn't do it here because of the NC change, it's a bit extra spaced overall and looks and plays nicely enough i think. should probably change it if someone else notices it though
02:15:238 - strong beat here cuz the drums are doin special things again (02:14:038 - compared to this which you mapped correctly)
:arrow: they feel less intense to me, i had them flow nicely into the next combo instead of having a zigzag shape as well so it should be good enough i think

:arrow: i wanted the "guitar hero" feeling for this, so it's constant 1/4 with not much variation(apart from the final two beats in each measure). consider this chart - i wanted a similar style, it's a stressful part
06:07:438 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,1) - so much action with the guitar, drums goin ham and spacing is lower than ever before lmao. Hopefully this is just a placeholder
:arrow: two of lesjuh's DF maps end on the same type of stream - a low spaced circle only stream to signify the very end of the solo, and that's what i'm doing here. i might do the first half of it in the usual style, like done in lesjuh's cry for eternity, but i'll decide that when i get here after mapping everything inbetween

Will HP Drain eventually be this low? It makes me feel dirty for missing a bunch of notes and not failing.

I understand many might feel the opposite way.

it's set to 3 like revolution deathsquad and through the fire and flames. i might(should?) increase it to 4 at some point, but i'll see how people react to it first.

Hey, -GN. Pretty sure the offset is wrong by around ~15/20. It would be nice if you could dedicate some time to fix it because it sounds really off.

As for the HP, 3 is actually pretty low and it will most likely be something discouraged unless you are trying to pull off a Fort (making a considerable hard map with low HP to attract a bigger audience).

offset changed +11ms after some testing by me. also, HP has been set low in accordance with the old lesjuh DF maps, which were pretty brutal for their time. and i'm pretty sure this map is, even by today's standards(but for another reason entirely). :D

thanks for mentioning these issues. also fixed everything AImod complained about(as xDolorow pointed out on twitter).

02:34:899 (7) - I feel that the stream should end here
02:50:649 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - I don't like this pattern, doesn't feel like lesjuh to me, especially a triple that's not stacked.
04:32:199 (10,11) - these look too far away from each other
05:27:088 (3,4,5) - 1/2 slider here is better or move the triple to 05:27:549 (7,8) -
05:35:938 (5,6,7,8) - repeat slider here
05:41:338 (5,6,7) - kickslider should be on 5 and another here 05:41:788 (3) -. Other possibility is to leave 05:41:488 (7) - as it is and move 05:42:088 (7) - to 05:41:938 (5) -
05:48:249 (1) - idk about this, I don't think lesjuh left out parts of solos
05:53:949 (5,6) - could be a slider,
