Timing:
- Offset: -228 ... with your offset, you begin the beat early
- Then place all object in time, on white and red ticks

Now you have to resnap all notes.. for better placement, use distance snap. Follow music and don't make jumps when don't need like 00:03:527 (1,2,3) -
And for place objects, don't use grind snap... you need it when you make symmetrics patterns

Given that this is one of your first beatmaps, this is pretty nice o/

Still a lot of underlying flaws, so I'll try to help with those rather than with pinpointing details, as well as try to give some tips to improve your mapping.

Looks like we got a memestrata gimmick ;)

Gonna focus on Notes: Houtarou

Notes: Houtarou
  1. So, first off.. your note spread is a little bit small. http://puu.sh/sZbvY/af7e6021d4.jpg You could certainly do to spread out notes a little more and be a bit more free with the play area. The bottom right corner is especially neglected.
  2. So, first big issue right off the bat - Your new combos are quite inconsistent. Few ways to go about it: Use new combos consistently, perhaps every downbeat or two, and make sure you put notes on the actual downbeat so you can new combo where necessary. Then, you can use some as emphasis if the song begs it. Like for example, in the section at 01:07:561 (8,9,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2), you could new combo at 01:07:561 (8,2,5,8,3,5), to emphasize the kicks :)
  3. Spacing can be varied if the song fits it. However, random spikes in spacing like at 00:01:121 (1,2) really are not appropriate. Be consistent, and change it where appropriate. Other example of where this is not done too well: 00:33:663 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8). 1,2,3 and 4 are all really large, but then suddenly, with the same music and intensity, you decrease the spacing. Justify your increases and decreases - do they fit the song, or are you making patterns that you just believe would be fun to play? Remember to focus on mapping to the song, and represent the intensity through your map.
  4. Some rhythm choices are questionable. Look at 00:04:341 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7). All of the strong guitar notes are on the white ticks. When you map a slider, you want the "intense" bit of the slider to be on the head, not the tail, if you can help it. A rhythm like this would fit better: http://puu.sh/sZbRh/c6f2e40a04.jpg. It emphasises the guitar with the head being on the stronger sound, and you still represent all of the guitar. Similarly, with 00:07:731 (4,5,6), you do something like that, emphasizing notes on the tail versus the head. A good rule of thumb is to put sliders on white ticks, though there are some exceptions depending on the song. Try to follow this if you can.
  5. 00:04:341 (1) - I'm guessing you were going for a wavy slider here? I prefer them mapped as: http://puu.sh/sZbWD/57e4038a2c.jpg As you actually give them a wave.
  6. Be consistent with your spacing. 00:08:917 (7,1) This is the same intensity as any earlier part, but you overlap them - I suggest spacing them out into a small pattern :)
  7. 00:09:256 (2) - With this, you're covering up some stuff. The vocals end at 00:09:934. Your current rhythm choice is http://puu.sh/sZcd4/5c3269c3f4.jpg, but I feel something like http://puu.sh/sZcbV/e3145427be.jpg better represents the vocals (which I'm guessing is what you're mapping to here)
  8. 00:13:154 (4) - Sliders like this don't really look attractive. Using tactics like parallelism can help to improve aesthetics. Try something like http://puu.sh/sZcii/af79912030.jpg, for example.
  9. 00:17:053 (4,1) - Things like this could be better as a slider - in this case, (1) is on a weaker sound than (4).
  10. You seem to be using mostly 1/2 rhythms, but changing it up a bit isn't a bad thing. Take 00:19:765 (5) - for example - You could do something like this to perhaps better focus on the change of pace, rather than giving it a slider end, which doesn't give much emphasis. http://puu.sh/sZcpg/fbcc4cc201.jpg
  11. Overall, there's an issue with reading, which the NC's will probably fix. It's hard to interpret different sections of the song when they're so random, so be sure to find a way to make them consistent.
  12. 00:26:883 (3,4,5,6) - Another peculiar rhythm choice that I think can be better. (5) is on an unimportant sound, so make sure to work on your note placement so emphasis is proper.
  13. 00:32:985 (9) - You're ignoring some drums here - could be neat way to transition into the next section.
  14. 00:30:951 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Don't be afraid to undermap a bit in this section. The vocals imply a really calm part here, but your notes show greater intensity. Tone it down a bit, use longer sliders! :)
  15. 00:56:714 (4) - Be careful not to hold out sliders too long again, as it ends on the white tick before - consistency!
  16. 00:59:426 - shouldn't kiai start here?
  17. Try to match the rhythm correctly - at 01:09:934 (5,6,7), the glissando is a 1/8 sound, where a kickslider may be fitting, or you could just make a 5 note stream onto 01:10:273 (8).
  18. The rest is just these same problems repeating as far as I can tell.

Above all else, be sure to represent the rhythm fittingly. Your map should match the song, and not just be a map with the rhythm being barely defined in it. The player's motion, flow, snapping, etc. can all help to match the song, and how you place those notes can better represent that. Good luck!
