Welcome to the first Another osu! Tournament, or the osu!alert Tourney! This tourney is split into 2 different brackets, the Hard Bracket, and the Easy Bracket. This is an osu! standard only tournament.
To participate, you will need to meet the requirement for each bracket. Join the osu!alert discord by clicking the link above and follow the rules in the #tourney-announcements channel. You will need to sign up via the Google Docs form.
The Hard Bracket will be played as a 1v1 tourney; The Easy Bracket will be played as a 2v2 tourney. All matches are played during the weekends. Both brackets will be played on scorev2.

Q: Will there be 64 teams/players expansion?
A: No. I planned for 32 but then the Circle People announcement blew everything out of my limits. I apologize, but I will stick to 32, and will make it 64 if we make another tourney similar.

Format
Hard Bracket:
This is a Single Elimination 1v1 style bracket.
32 players will go against each other according to seeds (which is done based on amount of standard pp).
Easy Bracket:
This is a Single Elimination 2v2 style bracket. This means you will need to create a team with another player and decide on a suitable team name.
32 teams of 2 will go against each other according to seeds (which is done based on the average amount of standard pp between the 2 players).

Rules
General:
Strictly no cheating of any sort and kind.
No deliberate flaming or usage of insults towards players or staff, no spam, no posting of illegal and unnecessary links in the multiplayer chat.
Each player/team bans 2 maps from the mappool.
If there are scheduling conflicts, let the staff know in advance (at least 3 days before the match starts). E.g. Important events/matters. There is the exception of a sudden event (e.g. Death of close friends/relatives), in which case, please reschedule the match on a weekday whenever possible.
Failure to reschedule with opponent results in a win by default.
You have to arrive to the match within 10 minutes of the match allocated time. Players later than 10 minutes without earlier notification will be disqualified without further notice.

The bracket contains 4.5* - 7* maps. You will need to be at a minimum of 20,000 rank to be able to participate.
Easy Bracket:
The bracket contains 3* - 5* maps. Your team needs to have an average of 4,500pp or lower upon signup.
