holy shit i did it

Massive, MASSIVE, thank-you to Nozhomi for bubbling this 5 times and putting up with quite frankly the most ridiculous bullshit-filled ranking process I've had thus far (which probably isn't much but to me it was asdfasdf).

Oh yeah and shoutout to Ikaros for showing me the song in the first place!

2016-09-28 14:24 Miryle: If you wanna, you can now
2016-09-28 14:25 Miryle: Though idk if you wanna play it first since I changed quite a bit
2016-09-28 14:26 Net0: 00:03:615 (1,2,3,4) -
2016-09-28 14:26 Net0: when you're starting a map
2016-09-28 14:26 Net0: the player won't know the bpm, ar, etc
2016-09-28 14:27 Net0: you probably want to start the first combo or at least the first 10 seconds
2016-09-28 14:27 Net0: using a constant spacing
2016-09-28 14:27 Net0: 00:10:079 (1) -
2016-09-28 14:27 Miryle: Okay
2016-09-28 14:27 Net0: This is a good point to start making variations
2016-09-28 14:28 Miryle: Variations as in?
2016-09-28 14:28 Net0: spacing
2016-09-28 14:28 Miryle: Ah
2016-09-28 14:28 Net0: this is 0,99x apart
2016-09-28 14:28 Net0: 00:03:615 (1,2) -
2016-09-28 14:28 Net0: 00:05:231 (3,4) -
2016-09-28 14:28 Net0: This is 0,90x
2016-09-28 14:29 Net0: 00:05:231 (3,4) -
2016-09-28 14:29 Net0: ops 00:06:039 (4,5,1) -
2016-09-28 14:29 Net0: And the next ones just go even more spaced
2016-09-28 14:29 Net0: this is not mandatory
2016-09-28 14:29 Net0: I'm just recommending that you make at least the first two combos more consistent in terms of spacing
2016-09-28 14:30 Miryle: Okay will do
2016-09-28 14:30 Net0: so that the person knows better what's he/she is playing
2016-09-28 14:30 Net0: you also want to check Aibot whenever you finish making the modifications on your map
2016-09-28 14:30 Net0: to make sure everything is correct
2016-09-28 14:31 Net0: it seems there're some objects not snapped correctly
2016-09-28 14:31 Net0: 00:45:602 (1) -
2016-09-28 14:31 Net0: 03:16:366 (3) -
2016-09-28 14:31 Net0: 05:09:549 (2) -
2016-09-28 14:31 Net0: 05:09:549 (2) -
2016-09-28 14:32 Miryle: I think I just fixed those
2016-09-28 14:32 Net0: ok
2016-09-28 14:32 Net0: moving on
2016-09-28 14:32 Net0: 00:16:342 (1,2) -
2016-09-28 14:32 Net0: try to stack this
2016-09-28 14:33 Net0: and tell me if you think it fits better
2016-09-28 14:33 Miryle: I don't
2016-09-28 14:33 Miryle: I'd rather it not be stacked
2016-09-28 14:34 Net0: you could improve the structure of this pattern
2016-09-28 14:34 Net0: by stacking this
2016-09-28 14:34 Net0: 00:16:544 (2,5) -
2016-09-28 14:35 Net0: distance here could be smaller as well 00:19:776 (1,2,3) -
2016-09-28 14:35 Net0: the song is really slow right now, and making a triple that big in spacing gives the wrong impression of difficulty
2016-09-28 14:36 Miryle: Agreed with both, fixed both
2016-09-28 14:36 Net0: rotate this 00:22:200 (7) -
2016-09-28 14:36 Net0: -15°
2016-09-28 14:37 Net0: for two reasons
2016-09-28 14:37 Net0: this will make it look like this two are blanket 00:21:392 (5,7) -
2016-09-28 14:37 Net0: also to make
2016-09-28 14:37 Net0: both sliders ends near each other
2016-09-28 14:37 Net0: 00:20:584 (4,7) -
2016-09-28 14:37 Net0: To improve structure overall
2016-09-28 14:37 Miryle: Alright, done :3
2016-09-28 14:38 Net0: stack this
2016-09-28 14:38 Net0: 00:20:584 (4,8) -
2016-09-28 14:38 Net0: to make the spacing a bit bigger after rotation
2016-09-28 14:38 Net0: the same idea goes for this
2016-09-28 14:38 Net0: 00:23:008 (1,6) -
2016-09-28 14:39 Net0: make 6 the same spot as the sliderend
2016-09-28 14:39 Miryle: Stacked it with end of 00:20:584 (4) -
2016-09-28 14:39 Net0: no this one 00:22:806 (8) -
2016-09-28 14:39 Net0: is with sliderhead
2016-09-28 14:40 Miryle: Ah okay
2016-09-28 14:40 Miryle: I see now
2016-09-28 14:40 Miryle: Done
2016-09-28 14:41 Net0: i recommend that you don't overlap this 00:29:069 (4,1) -
2016-09-28 14:42 Miryle: Agreed, fixed
2016-09-28 14:42 Net0: same goes for this 00:39:170 (1,3) -
2016-09-28 14:42 Net0: you could either stack it with
2016-09-28 14:42 Net0: 00:39:170 (1,1) -
2016-09-28 14:43 Net0: About the spacing here
2016-09-28 14:43 Net0: 00:43:602 (3,4,5) -
2016-09-28 14:43 Net0: I saw that you want to give emphasis to the vocal using spacing
2016-09-28 14:43 Net0: but the difference is really hhuge
2016-09-28 14:45 Net0: Sorry
2016-09-28 14:45 Net0: Internet dc
2016-09-28 14:46 Net0: where did we stop?
2016-09-28 14:46 Miryle: Np
2016-09-28 14:46 Miryle: Emphasis on vocals using spacing
2016-09-28 14:46 Net0: Oh yeah
2016-09-28 14:47 Net0: Mostly you can make that, however the jump here is too big
2016-09-28 14:47 Net0: 00:43:802 (4,5) -
2016-09-28 14:47 Net0: specially considering
2016-09-28 14:47 Net0: this patter here
2016-09-28 14:47 Net0: 00:44:802 (1,2,3,4,1) -
2016-09-28 14:47 Net0: wich is the same musical phrase
2016-09-28 14:47 Net0: which*
2016-09-28 14:48 Net0: My recommendation is
2016-09-28 14:48 Net0: move this 00:44:002 (5) -
2016-09-28 14:48 Net0: to x: 248 y:320
2016-09-28 14:48 Net0: and make sure that this blankets 00:43:202 (2,5) -
2016-09-28 14:49 Miryle: Done
2016-09-28 14:50 Net0: this calls for a finish imo 00:57:308 (1) -
2016-09-28 14:50 Net0: the impact there is really strong
2016-09-28 14:51 Net0: a finish hitsound fits very much there
2016-09-28 14:51 Miryle: agreed, added
2016-09-28 14:51 Net0: also now that you added it there make sure you use it according to a structure on the song
2016-09-28 14:52 Net0: for example, since you used it here
2016-09-28 14:52 Net0: 00:57:308 (1) -
2016-09-28 14:52 Miryle: 01:00:131 (1) - here too
2016-09-28 14:52 Net0: you could probably use it here as well 01:02:955 (1) -
2016-09-28 14:52 Miryle: right>
2016-09-28 14:52 Net0: Yeah that's also a possibility
2016-09-28 14:52 Net0: you can make it every big white tick
2016-09-28 14:52 Net0: or every two
2016-09-28 14:52 Net0: its up to you
2016-09-28 14:53 Miryle: I like the idea so I'll do that
2016-09-28 14:53 Net0: the spacing here should be the same :/ 00:58:013 (3,4,5) -
2016-09-28 14:54 Net0: and it is
2016-09-28 14:54 Net0: o.O
2016-09-28 14:54 Net0: Nevermind this
2016-09-28 14:54 Miryle: xD
2016-09-28 14:55 Net0: this slider could be a straight one
2016-09-28 14:55 Net0: 01:05:072 (8) -
2016-09-28 14:55 Net0: to make this symmetric 01:04:543 (5,6,7,8) -
2016-09-28 14:56 Miryle: wtf
2016-09-28 14:56 Miryle: i can't ctrl-z
2016-09-28 14:56 Miryle: D: I FORGOT WHAT I DID
2016-09-28 14:56 Net0: what do you mean?
2016-09-28 14:56 Net0: o.o
2016-09-28 14:56 Miryle: Like
2016-09-28 14:56 Miryle: I changed that slider you said nevermind to
2016-09-28 14:57 Miryle: because I also didn't notice
2016-09-28 14:57 Miryle: then you said it was wrong
2016-09-28 14:57 Miryle: then I noticed it was wrong
2016-09-28 14:57 Miryle: Now I can't undo it for some reason
2016-09-28 14:57 Net0: that's strange
2016-09-28 14:57 Net0: also the nevermind was about the spacing not the slider
2016-09-28 14:57 Net0: the slider here
2016-09-28 14:57 Miryle: What coords was it
2016-09-28 14:57 Net0: 01:05:072 (8) -
2016-09-28 14:57 Net0: I mention that this slider could be straight one
2016-09-28 14:58 Miryle: Agreed, changed
2016-09-28 14:58 Net0: stack this 01:08:425 (3) -
2016-09-28 14:58 Net0: with this
2016-09-28 14:59 Net0: 01:07:896 (7) -
2016-09-28 14:59 Net0: and ctrol+g this slider
2016-09-28 14:59 Net0: 01:08:602 (1) -
2016-09-28 15:01 Miryle: Agreed, done
2016-09-28 15:01 Net0: xD
2016-09-28 15:01 Net0: 01:18:484 (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) -
2016-09-28 15:02 Net0: You made a pattern here that is increasing intensity I suppose
2016-09-28 15:02 Miryle: I tried ._.
2016-09-28 15:02 Net0: ok I few tips
2016-09-28 15:02 Net0: make the increase here more logical 01:19:013 (6,7,8,9,10) -
2016-09-28 15:02 Net0: there are two things you could have done
2016-09-28 15:03 Net0: either used a geometric form and increase the distances
2016-09-28 15:03 Net0: or use continuous DS grow of value
2016-09-28 15:03 Net0: like 1,5x/2,0x/2,5x/3,0x
2016-09-28 15:03 Miryle: I see
2016-09-28 15:03 Miryle: Okay I'll figure something out here for the moment
2016-09-28 15:03 Net0: also
2016-09-28 15:04 Net0: 01:19:366 (8,9,10) -
2016-09-28 15:04 Net0: from 8 to 9 the distance is bigger than from 9 to 10
2016-09-28 15:04 Net0: that kills the execution of your idea
2016-09-28 15:04 Net0: you can fix this pattern without worries
2016-09-28 15:07 Net0: move
2016-09-28 15:07 Net0: 01:19:366 (8) -
2016-09-28 15:07 Net0: to x:328 y: 216
2016-09-28 15:07 Miryle: Wait
2016-09-28 15:07 Miryle: https://puu.sh/rqU6f/94e0b39a05.mp4 ?
2016-09-28 15:08 Net0: mp4?
2016-09-28 15:08 Miryle: Video
2016-09-28 15:08 Miryle: No sound
2016-09-28 15:08 Net0: let me show my suggestion first
2016-09-28 15:08 Miryle: Okay
2016-09-28 15:09 Net0: move 8 to that position
2016-09-28 15:09 Net0: and this 01:19:719 (10) - stack with this slider end
2016-09-28 15:09 Net0: 01:19:896 (1) -
2016-09-28 15:10 Net0: the anti-jump here will give a lot of impact 01:19:719 (10,1) -
2016-09-28 15:10 Net0: and creat difficulty when it calls for it
2016-09-28 15:10 Miryle: Doesn't that seem too intense for this part?
2016-09-28 15:10 Miryle: it's only a small increase in intensity imo, and what I had before I was also thinking of simplifying
2016-09-28 15:10 Net0: you can nerf the spacing there as well
2016-09-28 15:11 Net0: the pattern of back X seems good
2016-09-28 15:11 Net0: but the idea on the mp4 also works
2016-09-28 15:11 Miryle: I think I like the idea on the mp4 more
2016-09-28 15:11 Miryle: So I'mma use that
2016-09-28 15:12 Net0: np
2016-09-28 15:12 Net0: next
2016-09-28 15:12 Net0: 01:32:425 (3,4) -
2016-09-28 15:12 Net0: the sliderend here of 4 is making this look odd
2016-09-28 15:12 Net0: compared to the rest of the map so far
2016-09-28 15:13 Miryle: I agree x.x but idk how to change it so I left it
2016-09-28 15:14 Net0: lol
2016-09-28 15:14 Net0: just rotate it and change the points
2016-09-28 15:14 Net0: you should be able to do it
2016-09-28 15:15 Net0: about the jump pattern
2016-09-28 15:15 Net0: 01:40:719 (3,4) -
2016-09-28 15:15 Miryle: https://puu.sh/rqUx9/11a43cdb6d.png ?
2016-09-28 15:15 Net0: this is too close
2016-09-28 15:15 Net0: looks way better
2016-09-28 15:15 Miryle: Okiedokes~
2016-09-28 15:16 Net0: about the way you mapped the chorus
2016-09-28 15:16 Net0: 01:48:131 (1,2,3) -
2016-09-28 15:16 Net0: 01:48:660 (5,6,7) -
2016-09-28 15:16 Net0: 01:49:543 (1,2,3) -
2016-09-28 15:16 Net0: 01:50:072 (5,6,7) -
2016-09-28 15:16 Net0: I'm not sure if triples are the best way to go
2016-09-28 15:16 Miryle: Hmm
2016-09-28 15:16 Net0: you can clearly hear that the sounds here 01:48:131 (1,3) -
2016-09-28 15:16 Net0: are stronger than
2016-09-28 15:16 Net0: 01:48:219 (2) -
2016-09-28 15:17 Miryle: Kickslider + circle?
2016-09-28 15:17 Net0: but mapping it as triple makes all of them with the same intensity
2016-09-28 15:17 Net0: you could probably keep the triples if you like them
2016-09-28 15:17 Net0: but you need do make sure that the hitsounds will express that
2016-09-28 15:17 Net0: 1 and 3 are stronger than 2
2016-09-28 15:17 Net0: for example clap for this
2016-09-28 15:17 Net0: 01:48:131 (1,3) -
2016-09-28 15:18 Net0: and then you add green point to low the volume of this 01:48:131 (1,3) -
2016-09-28 15:18 Net0: ops this 01:48:219 (2) -
2016-09-28 15:18 Miryle: I'd rather not have a clap on the first note
2016-09-28 15:18 Net0: you can use the hitsounds that you prefer
2016-09-28 15:19 Net0: but only make sure to express that 1 and 3 are stronger than 2
2016-09-28 15:19 Miryle: Okay, gotcha
2016-09-28 15:19 Miryle: I do like them so I'll keep them but change the hitsounds
2016-09-28 15:20 Net0: great
2016-09-28 15:20 Net0: overlap here 01:53:072 (3,1) -
2016-09-28 15:21 Miryle: Fixed
2016-09-28 15:21 Net0: flow here is kinda bad 01:55:013 (6,1) -
2016-09-28 15:21 Net0: this section is using sharp angles
2016-09-28 15:21 Net0: 01:54:308 (2,3,4,5,6) -
2016-09-28 15:22 Net0: but this is linear 01:55:013 (6,1) -
2016-09-28 15:22 Miryle: Rotated by 90 degrees
2016-09-28 15:22 Miryle: the triplets
2016-09-28 15:22 Net0: hmm ok
2016-09-28 15:23 Net0: but I'm not talking about triples here
2016-09-28 15:23 Net0: o.o
2016-09-28 15:23 Miryle: Oh
2016-09-28 15:23 Miryle: Well it flows better anyways if I rotate them so I'll keep that
2016-09-28 15:24 Net0: about this 01:55:896 (3,4,5,6,7,8) -
2016-09-28 15:24 Net0: I'd ctrol+g this pattern here 01:56:249 (6,7,8) -
2016-09-28 15:25 Net0: I'd also ctrol+g this 01:58:719 (3) -
2016-09-28 15:25 Miryle: Second one I agree with
2016-09-28 15:25 Miryle: First one not so much
2016-09-28 15:25 Miryle: I want it to be somewhat of a jump
2016-09-28 15:26 Net0: np
2016-09-28 15:28 Net0: stack this 02:44:602 (1,4) -
2016-09-28 15:28 Net0: NC to prevent SV changes 03:07:190 (2) -
2016-09-28 15:29 Miryle: Sec stack it with what
2016-09-28 15:29 Miryle: Also fixed NC

Not cool bro

... not cool

rip i was memeing =/

grotesque
this diff name is... eh. it seems not to fit with a calm song like this, but it isn't anything major.

i really like the hitsounding.

i think that your rhythm choice throughout is pretty good, but i'm going to point out some things that i think could be improved for the first part of the mod.
note: these are kind of in random order

04:38:249 (2,3,4) - here, you put down a 1/1 slider *shit its actually 1/2 but im just gonna assume its double bpm dont mind me*. nothing inherently wrong with that. but, the slider end covers the start of a "burst" in the song. putting a note that needs emphasis on the end of a slider makes it seem like the map isn't following the music too well. now, obviously there's a hitsound for the slider end. but it's important to let the player click on those important notes and not just let go of a slider.
a rhythm like http://puu.sh/rtR4N/8b1c94d10b.jpg this could make it better, or even a 4 note burst. just remember to mute that slider end.

00:14:120 (2) - there isn't much under this note, i think you can delete it and just follow the piano that you were following.

00:51:572 - this could be a triple here to follow the piano.

01:06:837 - here the "duh duh duh duh" thingy starts. you could consider putting clickable objects there.

04:17:690 - you could drop something here too

04:47:190 (7) - here i would question why there's a slider. all the sounds seem equally strong, so i think it should be mapped as 3 circles.

04:50:955 (8,9) - i think these are the same sound. kind of. i definitely dont think it needs such a big jump since 9 is basically a continuation of 8 (from what i hear.)

05:01:190 (4,5) - you could make these into a slider or something, this rhythm is kind of intense compared to the actual intensity of the song (really low.) especially because even in kiai time you were using fairly low-intensity rhythms like circle + 1/1 slider or 1/1 slider into triple into 1/1 slider again.

05:13:856 - you seemed to have been following the high piano for some time, it switches to low piano on the slider after this? only for that slider though. you should make it consistent by following the high piano here.

okay those were most of the rhythm changes or errors that i found.

of course, a map is not just a bunch of correct rhythm. aesthetics (read: looking nice) is also pretty important for a good map.
that includes copying sliders so they look nice together, blanketing, using smooth looking sliders, stuff like that. i'll point out some things that i found, which you may want to revise.

00:07:655 (2) - you could move this up like this > https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6218656
that way the cursor moves straight into the slider. this is a really minor thing.

00:09:271 (4) - you appear to have randomly changed slider shapes, even though you were copying them all before. imo you should stick with the same slider shape...

00:24:625 (4,5,6,7) - this line is like slightly not straight for some reason

00:31:897 (7) - in its current state, 7 looks like it should be placed more like this > https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6218666

00:33:513 (3) - random slider change again.

ok enough with the intro you get the idea

01:52:896 (2,3,4,5,6) - this kind of thing tends to look kind of lazy, even if the spacing increase makes sense. you could try rotating them slightly as they get bigger (aka fycho pp jumps xD)

02:03:660 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - the overlapping circles here make it look kind of messy. the spacing makes sense, but you could move them around a little to ensure that they arent randomly overlapping.

ok so overlaps are messy basically
03:10:013 (1) -
03:14:955 (7) - these blankets are off. that's basically unrankable and calls for a nuked mapset.
(kappa)

you should check on all of them, even though its super minor, a bad blanket is something easy to fix that looks weird.

some other stuff
03:51:660 (5) - this appears to be the biggest jump in the map, i don't think it's the most intense part though ._. check that out.

04:44:425 (7) - these are also really big jumps even though theyre on super quiet sounds. i would reconsider.

this map has nice rhythm basically but your aesthetics look kind of eh. nothing some rotation and copypasting wouldn't fix =P

m4m thing

dank memes - I mean mod
so I did a quick testplay (1:00 testplay best testplay)
very nice map to play :)

Grotesque

00:09:271 (4) - the degree of arc of this slider bothered me during testplay; it stood out apart from the first few sliders, and there is no reason to music-wise
00:16:342 (1,2) - stacking the circle on top of the slider makes it easier to read and play, in my opinion
00:19:776 (1,2,3) - I felt as if the distance between these 3 and previous circle is a little too far, but I guess intro to vocals can support it. also, should probably make it a repeat slider since I thought it was a triple and I spaAAAaaAAm zxz
00:26:039 (8,9,1) - still calm music so I think stack would be noice
00:32:503 (8,1) - the blanket should be adjusted a bit
00:34:322 (1,2,3,4) - the symmetry makes the sudden fifth pitch change stand out, and I like that
00:44:802 (1,2,3,4) - still in the "calm" section, so I think sliders may be better. I won't mention from now on, but keep in mind?
00:51:474 (8,1) - I feel as if the piano part should be played as a 1/8 triple, since it is very noticeable
00:59:425 (6,7,1) - blankets!11
01:02:072 (5,6,1) - I guess it's more appropriate to use spaced triple during this part
01:04:543 (5,6,7) - I somehow didnt find this to be a triple since it matched with the vocals, though I got like all 100 lol
01:06:484 (2,3,4) - when vocals do the "dudududu" I recommend making 2 a slider and starting the sliders from there, since the slider placed there right now would make it so the beat the vocals start doing the "dududududududu" stuff sound weak
01:18:484 (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - oooooh I like this part. it matches with the instrumental, and it utilizes volume to determine distance
01:26:249 (2,3) - the transition, compared to the previous slider (1) and 2, is very broken and feels weird, although rhythmically correct
01:27:308 (4,5) - you can hear the subtle drums in the background, and I kind of want this area to use that
01:37:896 (4,5) - I dont understand why these 2 circles would not also be a slider... I thought it would be nice so you keep consistency, maybe repeat the whole set once more, but I like the jumps, however. they are very smooth for me.
01:41:955 (8) - I think you should make new combo here, so you can tell that you are slowing down from the stream rather than doing a "triple-like repeat slider"
01:44:602 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - I do not find any issue here, except maybe you can make the spacing a little more nerfed?? 1.4x DS to maybe 1.2x, since before during time like 01:41:602 (4,5,6,7,8) - it's building up, so it makes sense to make such distance
01:52:896 (2,3,4,5,6) - they stay on the same volume, so I don't see why it wouldn't make sense to use same distance space but maybe do some rotations?
01:53:425 (5,6,1) - blanket with 5 and 1, fix?
02:05:778 (3,4,1) - not sure if 1 and 3 are supposed to blanket, but if so, fix? if not, it's fine. 3 and 4, however, fix?
02:08:425 (2,3,4,5,6) - I'm looking at this, and the flow is completely fine, but maybe if you made it a perfect hexagon?
02:19:896 (4,5) - b l a n k e t
02:25:543 (2) - I focus more on the vocals' mixing, so change slider 2 to a stream of 5 (1/8)
02:36:131 (1) - I feel as if you can hold this out for 1 more 1/8 beat until the next slider, it feels much better for some reason
02:37:366 (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11) - once again, you impress me with this cool effect. question is, why is there volume changes @ 9, 10, 11, but none there at previous cool effect at 01:18:484 (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - ?
02:45:308 (3,4) - transition okay since player should already get a feeling of what this area is like due to earlier part
02:53:778 (3,4,5) - I'm not saying simply vertical sliders are bad, but they remind me of, like, the old osu! mapping style...
03:01:543 (9) - insert break afterwards?
03:04:102 (1,2,3) - this is very difficult to read. I see that the 2 and 3 are 1/16 sliders, so make into repeat slider that goes back and forth to make easier
03:28:896 (7) - this repeat slider is too loud. reduce volume, please...
03:33:131 (2,3) - this area has a weird sound effect that stands out, and I think you should map according to it... so it would be a 1/8 triple and then a single circle after 1 beat
03:40:366 (8,9) - this is also difficult to read... maybe make 8 a repeating slider since no one would "expect" a slider at such a strange length
03:52:366 (1) - reduce volume, it doesn't fit in the context of the song, since we're close to reaching a point of the chorus repeat
04:14:955 (1) - since the background makes this cool sound effect, maybe tweak the volume to follow same thing?
04:19:366 (6,7,8) - now, this I like, since it is a chorus repeat, thus increasing the slider velocity for more emphasis
04:25:366 (5,6,7,8) - this is a strange rhythm, and no one would expect it, so make 8 right after slider 7 to show that
04:36:660 (4,5,6,7,8) - also another strange rhythm... try to find a way to make the player be able to sightread it smoothly (maybe use slider)
04:43:720 (2,3,4) - the triple isnt equally spaced out. 2 -> 3 =/= 3 -> 4
04:47:072 (6,7) - make a repeating slider, I would recommend, but still playable, so I wouldn't worry too much about it
04:52:366 (2,3,4) - cool 1/12 rhythm with a predictable path... nice
04:54:484 (1) - neat design, but one suggestion: since the music is slowly returning to the slow part, gradually reduce volume
05:07:318 (3,4) - blanket
05:11:539 (6,1) - should stack 6 on 1, especially since the tempo is slowing down, so it wouldn't cause players to worry about mistimed hitting
05:14:630 (5,6,7,1) - strange distant spacing... although I might interpret it as a way of indicating more tempo slowing
05:21:610 (1) - slow this down to 25% speed and try listening to it... obviously, it is off by a little. moving it to 1/16 beat later would make it sound nicer, or you could set another timing point there, but I'm not very strong in finding the bpm of a slowing area of a song... :(

00:51:474 (8,1) - I feel as if the piano part should be played as a 1/8 triple, since it is very noticeable. Denied - The BPM change would make it feel weird. Anywhere else I would have done it, but just doesn't play right here. If more people bring it up I may reconsider.
Fixed - 00:59:425 (6,7,1) - blankets!11
01:02:072 (5,6,1) - I guess it's more appropriate to use spaced triple during this part Is that a suggestion or an observation? Either way I'm keeping this.
01:04:543 (5,6,7) - I somehow didnt find this to be a triple since it matched with the vocals, though I got like all 100 lol You're the only one so far~ keeping this.
Fixed - 01:06:484 (2,3,4) - when vocals do the "dudududu" I recommend making 2 a slider and starting the sliders from there, since the slider placed there right now would make it so the beat the vocals start doing the "dududududududu" stuff sound weak
01:18:484 (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - oooooh I like this part. it matches with the instrumental, and it utilizes volume to determine distance Thank you~
Fixed using ctrl+g - 01:26:249 (2,3) - the transition, compared to the previous slider (1) and 2, is very broken and feels weird, although rhythmically correct
01:27:308 (4,5) - you can hear the subtle drums in the background, and I kind of want this area to use that Denied - I do use them: 01:30:660 (6,7,8,9), I just want to focus more on the vocals.
Agreed, fixed - 01:37:896 (4,5) - I dont understand why these 2 circles would not also be a slider... I thought it would be nice so you keep consistency, maybe repeat the whole set once more, but I like the jumps, however. they are very smooth for me.
Agreed with NC, but changed it so that it's a jump - 01:41:955 (8) - I think you should make new combo here, so you can tell that you are slowing down from the stream rather than doing a "triple-like repeat slider"
01:44:602 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - I do not find any issue here, except maybe you can make the spacing a little more nerfed?? 1.4x DS to maybe 1.2x, since before during time like 01:41:602 (4,5,6,7,8) - it's building up, so it makes sense to make such distance Denied - They're already much closer than the triples later.
Remapped the whole area. Fixed - 01:52:896 (2,3,4,5,6) - they stay on the same volume, so I don't see why it wouldn't make sense to use same distance space but maybe do some rotations?
N/A - Change with above point - 01:53:425 (5,6,1) - blanket with 5 and 1, fix?
Fixed - 02:05:778 (3,4,1) - not sure if 1 and 3 are supposed to blanket, but if so, fix? if not, it's fine. 3 and 4, however, fix?
02:08:425 (2,3,4,5,6) - I'm looking at this, and the flow is completely fine, but maybe if you made it a perfect hexagon? If someone brings it up again, fine. But it looks close enough.
Fixed - 02:19:896 (4,5) - b l a n k e t
02:25:543 (2) - I focus more on the vocals' mixing, so change slider 2 to a stream of 5 (1/8) Denied - I want to emphasize the bass, the vocals here don't matter to me. If it's brought up again I may consider it.
Agreed, fixed - 02:36:131 (1) - I feel as if you can hold this out for 1 more 1/8 beat until the next slider, it feels much better for some reason
Fixed - 02:37:366 (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11) - once again, you impress me with this cool effect. question is, why is there volume changes @ 9, 10, 11, but none there at previous cool effect at 01:18:484 (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - ?
02:45:308 (3,4) - transition okay since player should already get a feeling of what this area is like due to earlier part Cool~
02:53:778 (3,4,5) - I'm not saying simply vertical sliders are bad, but they remind me of, like, the old osu! mapping style... Part of the pattern, not changing it.
03:01:543 (9) - insert break afterwards?
Fixed? - 03:04:102 (1,2,3) - this is very difficult to read. I see that the 2 and 3 are 1/16 sliders, so make into repeat slider that goes back and forth to make easier
Fixed - 03:28:896 (7) - this repeat slider is too loud. reduce volume, please...
Added but not sure if it fits. I like the idea so I'll keep it. If anyone complains about it, it gets removed instantly. - 03:33:131 (2,3) - this area has a weird sound effect that stands out, and I think you should map according to it... so it would be a 1/8 triple and then a single circle after 1 beat
Fixed - 03:40:366 (8,9) - this is also difficult to read... maybe make 8 a repeating slider since no one would "expect" a slider at such a strange length
Fixed - 03:52:366 (1) - reduce volume, it doesn't fit in the context of the song, since we're close to reaching a point of the chorus repeat
Fixed? - 04:14:955 (1) - since the background makes this cool sound effect, maybe tweak the volume to follow same thing?
04:19:366 (6,7,8) - now, this I like, since it is a chorus repeat, thus increasing the slider velocity for more emphasis Thank you~
Fixed - 04:25:366 (5,6,7,8) - this is a strange rhythm, and no one would expect it, so make 8 right after slider 7 to show that
Fixed - 04:36:660 (4,5,6,7,8) - also another strange rhythm... try to find a way to make the player be able to sightread it smoothly (maybe use slider)
Fixed - 04:43:720 (2,3,4) - the triple isnt equally spaced out. 2 -> 3 =/= 3 -> 4
Implemented repeating slider, fixed - 04:47:072 (6,7) - make a repeating slider, I would recommend, but still playable, so I wouldn't worry too much about it
04:52:366 (2,3,4) - cool 1/12 rhythm with a predictable path... nice :3 Thanks~
Agreed, implemented - 04:54:484 (1) - neat design, but one suggestion: since the music is slowly returning to the slow part, gradually reduce volume
Fixed - 05:07:318 (3,4) - blanket
05:11:539 (6,1) - should stack 6 on 1, especially since the tempo is slowing down, so it wouldn't cause players to worry about mistimed hitting Denied - As stated in the beginning, I want this to be a sort of lead-in.
Made it a bit clearer and cleaner - 05:14:630 (5,6,7,1) - strange distant spacing... although I might interpret it as a way of indicating more tempo slowing
Fixed - 05:21:610 (1) - slow this down to 25% speed and try listening to it... obviously, it is off by a little. moving it to 1/16 beat later would make it sound nicer, or you could set another timing point there, but I'm not very strong in finding the bpm of a slowing area of a song... :(

8-)
Thank you very much, your mod was extremely helpful!

this diff name is... eh. it seems not to fit with a calm song like this, but it isn't anything major.

i really like the hitsounding. Thank you~

i think that your rhythm choice throughout is pretty good, but i'm going to point out some things that i think could be improved for the first part of the mod.
note: these are kind of in random order

Added kicksliders, fixed - 04:38:249 (2,3,4) - here, you put down a 1/1 slider *shit its actually 1/2 but im just gonna assume its double bpm dont mind me*. nothing inherently wrong with that. but, the slider end covers the start of a "burst" in the song. putting a note that needs emphasis on the end of a slider makes it seem like the map isn't following the music too well. now, obviously there's a hitsound for the slider end. but it's important to let the player click on those important notes and not just let go of a slider.
a rhythm like http://puu.sh/rtR4N/8b1c94d10b.jpg this could make it better, or even a 4 note burst. just remember to mute that slider end.

00:14:120 (2) - there isn't much under this note, i think you can delete it and just follow the piano that you were following. Denied - Would ruin flow, and there is the low piano note there.

00:51:572 - this could be a triple here to follow the piano. Denied - The BPM change makes it sound awkward. I'll keep it as it is.

Fixed in the mod below - 01:06:837 - here the "duh duh duh duh" thingy starts. you could consider putting clickable objects there.

04:17:690 - you could drop something here too Idk when you last updated the map but there is a sliderhead there, forgive me if I don't understand what you're saying.

04:47:190 (7) - here i would question why there's a slider. all the sounds seem equally strong, so i think it should be mapped as 3 circles. Same as above

Fixed - 04:50:955 (8,9) - i think these are the same sound. kind of. i definitely dont think it needs such a big jump since 9 is basically a continuation of 8 (from what i hear.)

Remapped that area. Fixed - 05:01:190 (4,5) - you could make these into a slider or something, this rhythm is kind of intense compared to the actual intensity of the song (really low.) especially because even in kiai time you were using fairly low-intensity rhythms like circle + 1/1 slider or 1/1 slider into triple into 1/1 slider again.

Fixed - 05:13:856 - you seemed to have been following the high piano for some time, it switches to low piano on the slider after this? only for that slider though. you should make it consistent by following the high piano here.

okay those were most of the rhythm changes or errors that i found.

of course, a map is not just a bunch of correct rhythm. aesthetics (read: looking nice) is also pretty important for a good map.
that includes copying sliders so they look nice together, blanketing, using smooth looking sliders, stuff like that. i'll point out some things that i found, which you may want to revise.

Fixed - 00:07:655 (2) - you could move this up like this > https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6218656
that way the cursor moves straight into the slider. this is a really minor thing.

Fixed - 00:09:271 (4) - you appear to have randomly changed slider shapes, even though you were copying them all before. imo you should stick with the same slider shape...

Fixed - 00:24:625 (4,5,6,7) - this line is like slightly not straight for some reason

Fixed - 00:31:897 (7) - in its current state, 7 looks like it should be placed more like this > https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6218666

Fixed - 00:33:513 (3) - random slider change again.

Fixed most of it, some may have slipped through, also remapped a bit of it - ok enough with the intro you get the idea

Fixed - 01:52:896 (2,3,4,5,6) - this kind of thing tends to look kind of lazy, even if the spacing increase makes sense. you could try rotating them slightly as they get bigger (aka fycho pp jumps xD)

Fixed? They don't overlap anymore so~ 02:03:660 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - the overlapping circles here make it look kind of messy. the spacing makes sense, but you could move them around a little to ensure that they arent randomly overlapping.

Fixed all blankets (I think) - ok so overlaps are messy basically
03:10:013 (1) -
03:14:955 (7) - these blankets are off. that's basically unrankable and calls for a nuked mapset.
(kappa)

you should check on all of them, even though its super minor, a bad blanket is something easy to fix that looks weird.

some other stuff
Fixed - 03:51:660 (5) - this appears to be the biggest jump in the map, i don't think it's the most intense part though ._. check that out.

Fixed- 04:44:425 (7) - these are also really big jumps even though theyre on super quiet sounds. i would reconsider.

this map has nice rhythm basically but your aesthetics look kind of eh. nothing some rotation and copypasting wouldn't fix =
You mod was extremely helpful, I checked a lot of the things you mentioned so hopefully they're all fixed now. Thank you for modding!

hi m4m!

[Desparation]
  • ok first off, your intro seems really unpolished, its really calm and slow in the song, but your mapping does not reflect that.
  1. 00:03:615 (1,2,3,4) - these slider shapes arent the same. due to the calmness of the music, they should be. Simply copy paste and rotate the sliders and find something simple that works (there is no one right way to do this)
  2. 00:06:645 (5,1) - i would recommend stacking these, the change in tone is very slight, so stacking is ideal
  3. 00:07:655 (2,3) - while this is technically speaking OK, you haven't used this type of pattern anywhere else in the intro. This means it is inconsistent, or unstructured with the rest of the map. Id HIGHLY recommend changing this so that the patterns become consistent with each other - how you do that is up to you (remember consistent =/= same. Just similar)
  4. 00:09:877 (5,1) - big jump here, music does not reflect that. Id suggest doing something along the lines of this. but as long as you remain consistent with the pattern you choose, you should be ok.
  5. 00:16:342 (1) - if you stack this with 00:14:928 (4) - its easier for players to predict how your map is going to go, while this is not essential, i think it is still worth considering.
  6. 00:19:372 (7,1) - too big of a jump
  7. 00:24:221 (3,4,5) - maybe make this a perfect triangle?
  8. 00:30:887 (4,5) - inconsistency in spacing
  9. 00:31:089 (5,6,7) - flow here can be improved. try something like this
  10. 00:35:938 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - this is good!
  11. 00:44:602 (5,1,2,3,4) - inconsistency in spacing, even tho i get what you tried to do, i dont think its good.
  12. 00:51:474 (8) - make a slider for piano?
  13. 00:56:249 (1) - not having this in the exact centre is triggering me a lil xd
thats all for the intro, the biggest problem is structure, or lack of it. Try and use similar shapes and patterns in how you map the song, and youll find it looks and plays a whole lot better!

For the main part of the song, ill just point out things that stood out to me when playing through it. Once youve got the intro a lot better, you should be able to go over the whole map and improve it yourself!
  14. 01:19:543 (9,10,1) - this spacing feels not so good, so id recommend changing the way this pattern works. Instead of going down up down up etc, id would be better if you reversed that, so that it goes up down up down up down etc. (if that makes no sense to you poke me and ill clarify)
  15. 01:41:602 (4,5,6,7,1) - stream isnt consistent in spacing.
  16. 01:45:308 (1,2,3,4) - this played bad, adjust spacing.
  17. 01:49:543 (1,2,3) - inconsistent spacing
  18. 03:00:131 - the wub sound starts here, so maybe start a slider here?
  19. 03:01:366 - unmaped sound, maybe throw in a note that stacks with 03:01:543 (9) -
  20. 03:04:102 (1) - i think this is incorrectly snapped
  21. 03:14:778 (6) - this not being in the exact middle of 03:14:249 (5,7) - annoyed me
  22. 03:18:484 (1) - why did you stack this, keep a consistent pattern :)
  23. 04:01:543 (2,3) - i think these are too close together
  24. 04:52:366 (2,3,4) - this rhythm was hard to acc - maybe turn it into a slider?
whew now that was a nice goddamn song hoyl. Although the map can be polished and improved quite a bit, youve actually done a really good job mapping some parts of it! so good job~~

After youve applied the changes, and improved the map as a whole, feel free to call me back and ill go over it with you again if you so wish ^^.

00:19:372 (7,1) - too big of a jump Denied - You have enough time to get there. Plus the piano starts on a high pitch and goes downwards. I'm keeping it.
00:24:221 (3,4,5) - maybe make this a perfect triangle? Denied - How do you even make a "perfect triangle?" It's fine how it is.
00:30:887 (4,5) - inconsistency in spacing Denied - This is intentional. I'm following the vocalist.
Fixed -00:31:089 (5,6,7) - flow here can be improved. try something like this 00:35:938 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - this is good! Thank you.~

03:00:131 - the wub sound starts here, so maybe start a slider here? Denied - It's more noticeable on 03:00:308, so I will keep it as is.
03:01:366 - unmaped sound, maybe throw in a note that stacks with 03:01:543 (9) - Denied - There is no sound there. I have no idea what you're talking about.
03:04:102 (1) - i think this is incorrectly snapped - This is snapped, 03:05:028 (4) isn't. Fixed.
Fixed - 03:14:778 (6) - this not being in the exact middle of 03:14:249 (5,7) - annoyed me
03:18:484 (1) - why did you stack this, keep a consistent pattern :) Denied - This is to better ease the player into the next part. I like it, I'm keeping it.
04:01:543 (2,3) - i think these are too close together Denied - That was intentional. To set up the jump at 04:03:484 (6,1).
04:52:366 (2,3,4) - this rhythm was hard to acc - maybe turn it into a slider? Denied - I like it because of the pattern and it it's not impossible to acc, I can acc it pretty well (though that might be because I made the map). If it's brought up again, I'll consider changing it.

hi again from M4M (I fucking reloaded page with half-made mod, im so done...):

00:04:423 (2) - Make it same look as the three sliders beside (00:06:847 (1,2,3,4) - you did it for example here)
00:36:544 (2) - Remove circle and make 00:35:938 (1) - longer. Kinda boring repetitive rhythm, the long slider can fit here because of voice going up.
00:44:602 (5,1,2,3,4) - Maybe smaller distance snap, looks kinda weird.
01:14:955 (2,3,4) - Make it triangle look by moving 01:15:308 (3) - or at least blanket to 01:14:249 (1) -
01:18:837 (5,6) - ctrl+r+shift and rotate by 5
01:19:190 (7,8) - ^ and rotate by 10
01:19:543 (9,10) - ^ and rotate by 15 - will give some cool look here.
01:20:602 (2) - You can improve slider ball here when it touch the slider wall on red tick. Small thing but easy to fix.
01:27:308 (4) - Improve blanket.
01:30:660 (6,7,8) - Weird distance snap [?]
01:34:013 (1) - Same with slider ball, cool slider but here you can hear more background sounds, so can be improved (red, white, red ticks) - but not needed. Your choice.
01:37:190 (2) - rotate by 15
01:37:896 (4) - rotate by -15 - the placement now is boring, you can improve it.
01:39:484 (4) - Overlap, can be avoided.
01:43:896 (3,1,2,3) - uhm... it won't get ranked. Kinda unplayable and hard to hit. Something like this at least (https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6224496)
02:07:013 (2,3) - I would ctrl+g the rhythm, fits cool when the slider starts on this sound in background.
02:12:660 (6,7) - Same here.
03:17:955 (7,8,9) - Make the rotation trick here too, just move 03:18:308 (9) - between 03:17:602 (4,5,6) - and 03:17:955 (7) -
03:25:190 (4) - Would ctrl+g
04:29:072 (1) - Weird slider.
04:32:425 (2,3,4) - Make it triangle by moving 04:32:425 (2) - you'll get cooler look 04:31:896 (1,2) - 04:32:778 (4) - in this part and 04:32:425 (2,3,4) -
04:33:308 (5) - NC
04:33:837 (6) - x:304 y:312~~
04:54:484 (1) - Like this one.

Overall I love the song, is so chill when there's no dubstep part. Love it. Hope I somehow helped you, gl hf in ranking this one!

00:04:423 (2) - Make it same look as the three sliders beside (00:06:847 (1,2,3,4) - you did it for example here) Fixed! Also spotted a blanket that was off, so double fix!

00:36:544 (2) - Remove circle and make 00:35:938 (1) - longer. Kinda boring repetitive rhythm, the long slider can fit here because of voice going up. Denied – I like this rhythm, even if it’s repetitive. It sets up the jump at 00:38:968 (8,1).

00:44:602 (5,1,2,3,4) - Maybe smaller distance snap, looks kinda weird. Agreed, fixed!

01:18:837 (5,6) - ctrl+r+shift and rotate by 5 – It does look nice but it ruins the consistency of 01:18:484 (3,5,7,9). If you have a different idea I’d be happy to hear it.~
01:19:190 (7,8) - ^ and rotate by 10 - ^
01:19:543 (9,10) - ^ and rotate by 15 - will give some cool look here. - ^

01:20:602 (2) - You can improve slider ball here when it touch the slider wall on red tick. Small thing but easy to fix. Fixed I think, I’m really not sure what you mean but I blanketed better and aligned the slider head and tails of 01:21:308 (2,1).

01:27:308 (4) - Improve blanket. Fixed!

01:30:660 (6,7,8) - Weird distance snap [?] Fixed! Also made it flow better.

01:39:484 (4) - Overlap, can be avoided. Fixed!

01:43:896 (3,1,2,3) - uhm... it won't get ranked. Kinda unplayable and hard to hit. Something like this at least (https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6224496) Fixed!

02:07:013 (2,3) - I would ctrl+g the rhythm, fits cool when the slider starts on this sound in background.
02:12:660 (6,7) - Same here. Denied – I like the way it is now, I want these parts to be really flowy and nice to play but the chorus and stuff to break flow often.

03:17:955 (7,8,9) - Make the rotation trick here too, just move 03:18:308 (9) - between 03:17:602 (4,5,6) - and 03:17:955 (7) – Agreed, but not in the position you mentioned.~ So semi-fixed.

03:25:190 (4) - Would ctrl+g – Denied, definitely not. I love this part and I won’t change anything on how the player taps this part out or how it flows. Sorry.

04:29:072 (1) - Weird slider. It’s for the wubs.

04:32:425 (2,3,4) - Make it triangle by moving 04:32:425 (2) - you'll get cooler look 04:31:896 (1,2) - 04:32:778 (4) - in this part and 04:32:425 (2,3,4) – Fixed!

04:33:308 (5) – NC – Fixed!

04:33:837 (6) - x:304 y:312~~ Nope! This note stacks with 04:34:719 (1).

04:54:484 (1) - Like this one. Thank you.~ I think that was a complement? Idk. xD

Overall I love the song, is so chill when there's no dubstep part. Love it. Hope I somehow helped you, gl hf in ranking this one!
You mod was very helpful! Thank you!

It doesn't at all - it will make 01:18:660 (4,6,8,10) - easier to hit and give 01:18:484 (3,5,7,9) - better look without changing playability. And after all it's going into slow part. But it's your choice, it was only suggestion.

Still, gl!

If I fiddle with it it could look nice but it's too much work to do and it would kinda ruin the idea I had for it.~
