[Archived] Can't seem to add any new beatmap

Problem Details:
Hi guys,

It seems that I can't add beatmaps anymore. It goes into an unending "process of a new beatmap" every time I attempt to add a new beatmap. I was able to fix this unending process by deleting the beatmap I am trying to add manually. After deleting manually I can play the game smoothly.

I noticed that after adding a new beatmap to the songs folder it will create a folder and only the mp3 will be available.

Hey there,

Apparently, there is a corrupted beatmap in your osu! folder, that triggers this behavior. If you have an idea on which map this could be, make sure to delete it. You can also try moving osu!.db out of your folder, and let osu! generate a new one.

By the way, avoid manually adding stuff in your osu! folder, to avoid any future issues.

Thanks! that was exactly the problem. Turns out that there is one corrupted beatmap that needs to be deleted.
