[Archived] Mac editing beatmap design problem

Problem Details:

The thing is that I have a mac and I am making a beatmap. I am in the design part and I want to put a background for the entire beatmap but when I try to do it, the game just tells me that there is an error. I tried to drag the image to osu but nothing happens.

I'm also a Mac user and have used the boatman editor.
Are you just dragging the picture into the Osu window and getting errors?

To add a background to a beatmap go to "Design" and at the upper left hand corner it says "Background Image/Video"
There you can pull files from your computer to add as backgrounds.

What error do you get? What's the extension of the file? Maybe you are importing an incorrect extension (.bmp for example)
