Fireworks of Flavor is named after an episode about warning kids that advertisements might be misleading. There was a TV show in the show called "The Adventures of Rexington: Dog of the Yukon" and the idea was that if you wanted to be like Rexington the top tier dog you had to eat Mighty Snackies, which were said to contain Fireworks of Flavor. Surprise! It was just mediocre dog food.

  1. I know it's already been suggested but I highly recommend the AR being lowered to at least 8.7 (8.5 being even better). When playing your map the ar just didn't quite fit as much as a lower ar would but that's my opinion
  2. 00:03:260 (4) - i'd like this curved more towards the left imo you can do this by tilting the slider end to the left by 2 pixels
  3. 00:05:499 (1) - isn't actually stacked or is that intentional?
  4. 00:07:290 (1,2) - personal opinion here but i think this is bad flow. The slider should lead into the circle instead of away from it here.
  5. 00:09:081 (1) - Not a fan of this slider. Maybe try curving like so? https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5448704
  6. 00:09:752 (2,3,4,5,6) - Maybe cleaning it up with a rhombus pattern would be better. I just copied and pasted 00:09:976 (3,4) - to make 5 and 6 then slapped 2 where 5 was. It looks better imo --> https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5448732

Fireworks of Flavor:
  1. 00:00:797 (3,1) – A bit nazi, but stacks like this aren’t perfect and there’s an easy way to fix it. Just select one of the objects and adjust it here:
    There may be more cases like this, but I’m not gonna point them all out.
  2. 00:02:588 (3,2) –Try to avoid this slight overlap. I doubt it was intentional.
  3. 00:07:066 (7,8) –Try adding a hitsound here to emphasize this sound. I suggest the drum-sample. This will apply to all the diffs.
  4. 00:05:499 (1) – I realized that in the beginning section of the song, this is the only place where you placed a whistle. Why not place whistles at other parts as well? Like here: 00:00:126 (1,1,1) – etc, etc. throughout the entire diff. This will apply to all the other diffs as well.
  5. 00:07:961 (3) –Since there are vocals here, I would rather not start this slider on the red tick. I think there are better rhythms that can be used. Like:
    Another reason is because there’s a vocal here: 00:08:185 – that would be a good idea to map out.
  6. 00:09:081 (1) -^, there’s a vocal here: 00:09:305 – so try catching it by placing a circle and a slider or just circles or something like that.

  3. 00:07:961 (3) –Same suggestion as in the previous diff. Try to catch this vocal as well: 00:08:185 – by placing a circle and a slider.

  5. 00:11:543 (4) –Rather try a rhythm like this to better catch the vocals/music:

ezek’s Advanced:
  1. Remove widescreen support.
  2. HP 6 may be a bit too big. Lower it down to 5.5
  3. 00:19:603 –I can hear a beat here so perhaps it will be a good idea to map it out by placing a circle there.
  4. 00:23:409 (1,2) –The shapes of these sliders look a bit like the old mapping style. I suggest just making them normal curved sliders. It will then also improve the blanket.

  6. 00:56:991 (6,1) –Perfect this stack.

Kisses’ Normal:
  1. Remove widescreen support.
  2. Since the BPM is only 134, I suggest making the distance spacing a bit bigger. Right now the objects are overlapping each other too much imo and there is room to make this diff a tiny bit more challenging. A distance spacing of 1.0X will fit nicely.
  3. I don’t think a kiai will really fit for this song since there isn’t a chorus that stands out. The entire song is actually the same.
  4. 00:25:200 (1) –Change this circle into a short slider to catch this vocal as well: 00:25:424 –

Easy:
  1. Since the slider velocity is so slow, you can increase the distance spacing just a little bit. Something like: 1.4X The objects doesn’t have to be that close to each other. Another reason is because the current distance spacing makes it look as if some of the objects are almost overlapping each other and it looks untidy.
  2. 00:13:111 (3) –The shape of this slider can be improved imo. Try something like this instead:
  3. 00:26:096 –I suggest placing a note here because right now that gap feels very empty.

Overall, this is a pretty nice set. Almost rank-ready.
