  2. For the 1/4 sliders (White to blue tick, for example), I suggest making them start on the white or red ticks. Like in this part 02:45:431 (4,5,6) - .

For the overall mapping, I think you already know this, but try to base the map on the song itself. By that I mean putting short or long jumps on high notes, etc. Jump patterns like these (04:00:346 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - ) are fine. For clarifications, try asking pro mappers. You've done a good job at this on most parts, such as the kiai times. But keep it consistent throughout. :3

to be honest this map is too far to be considered as an ok map. you need to remap it in a different way instead of placing note cluelessly

some idea/suggestion while you remapping:
DS lock on, use alt key to temporarily unlock the DS. the DS lock will always help you find out how far should you put the note.
you can't give random 5x DS to a weak sound.
avoid overlapping, or stack them, make appearance good
blanket when possible
use 25% or 50% playback rate to catch the beats. your current is like placing random beats on the song which destroys the music.

It's a bit late for this now but is there any reason you didn't make this a 177 BPM map with 1/4 division instead of 88.5 with 1/8 division?The song is meant to be at 88.5. I was considering making it 177 considering i was planning on adding streams, but either way it's snapped the same. I understand where you're coming from though.

Most of my edits are personal preference as what you've got works functionally, but just seems like an odd way to do it.

In general, the hitsounds could use a little tweaking.
Specifics
01:16:787 (2) - Ending of the note seems quite odd. It fits better if the end is snapped directly to the blue tick. Although it may be a design choice, it seems odd only having the one note do this syncopation in the entire phrase whereas almost every other note is constant eighths
01:28:482 (4) - ^
02:24:923 (2) - Feels off because of the last note in the prior phrase bumping into the downbeat. It works, but I think i'd shorten the note and move it to the red tick (and adjust the spacing accordingly).
02:36:278 (3,1,2,3) - The sixteenths connecting the sliders doesn't seem to fit in as well as the other notes. I can see what you are trying to do here from a musical standpoint however. I'd remove the second sixteenth (02:36:702 (2)) As the song seems to run off of a sort of dotted-eighth-sixteenth vibe this would fit in better.
02:43:228 (1,2,3,4) - Similar as the last. The three note pickup seems out of place. I find there are really two options here:
1. Shorten the slider by one tick, have it start one tick earlier. Place a circle on the down beat. This way you still get the triple tap feel in there without the confusing stumble of 4 off beat sixteenths in there.
2. The same as above, but without any sixteenths works as well, it's just less interesting :P
02:50:007 (2,1) - The spacing on these notes is quite larger than the rest of the notes, even though there isnt any change in the pacing of the song. I think it'd be better if (02:50:177) were at x:208 y:208 and the next note was just mirrored of the other (2)
02:54:160 (1,2,3) - These notes are tricky as the vocals dont line up exactly to the beat here. I'd have the first slider start on the blue tick just after the inherited timing section and end on the next blue tick. the second slider would go blue tick to blue tick again. I'd ditch the third slider, and instead have a circle on the next blue tick then move the spinner to the red tick after that.
The reason for all of this is that the vocals do not fall directly on the blue ticks or the yellow ticks. I would stick them on the blue ticks as they are more prevalent musically throughout the song (as seen in the constant eights earlier in the song) This, while still not being exact, would make the rhythm flow better. Additionally, the spinner would fall on the "all" in the vocals rather an eighth after it. The other option would be to make separate timing sections specifically for those three notes so that they fall exactly on the vocal ques. (Though this would be even more confusing and unpleasant to map)
05:07:465 (1) - The outro is fairly long. Not much we can do about that. What we can do is make it slightly more interesting. What you have works, but I'd maybe play around with some longer sliders to go along with the synth addition at 05:18:312. This way this section wont be so prone to bore the player as much. This is really personal preference though.
05:14:584 - The inherited time section change seems out of place. This section is written in four bar phrases and the slider speed is changed on the and of 2 in third bar which musically speaking makes no sense. I'd move the slider change to 05:18:312 as this is the beginning of the next phrase. This could be used in tandem with the last suggestion in order to make the ending more interesting.

Great map! I really like some of the liberties you took in how the difficulty evolves. Makes the map really fun to play. Absolutely love the song too. Not far from being rankable in my mind. Can't wait to FC it when it gets ranked ;)
