Hey, I'm a friend of doddler. So imagine my surprise when he updated his site (yeah, he updated it, its a shocker) about this.
It looks really fun so far. I have almost no experience with ouendan other than seeing doddler play it, so I guess I'm a newbie benchmark ATM.

You sound like me, having not played Ouendan before playing with osu!

Compliment sandwich method:
-Good thing about the beatmap.
-Not so good thing about the beatmap.
-Repeat steps if needed.
-Serve compliment sandwich.

as your new i will give you a tip
when you make maps you can not only select the dificulty and plase notes but also edit the notes colors
click on "song setup"then select"colours" click on where it says"unable custom colors"you will see buttons that say 1 2 3 and4.If you want to add an extra colour press on"new combo colour"then make it!

Note:you van also hack the colours number1 2 3 and 4 by clicking on them.
