Problem Details: I can't launch osu!.exe or osu!install.exe, it crashes instantly. The update log has been giving me back to back dll files that I don't have and I've been downloading each one of them separately. Now I need osu.dll and osu!gameplay.dll, could anyone upload them somewhere and link them to me so I could possibly finally launch osu again? I hope this will fix it.

osu! version: 20151127.2
Nathanael
Those DLL files are actually hidden in your osu! folder. Does the crash show any logs or messages? It would be helpful if you post a screenshot of your issue.

Nope, just get a osu!.exe has stopped working. I also copied a fresh install of osu onto a flash drive from another computer, where it worked, but still get the same error on my pc. This is the update_log.txt. Every time I copypaste a new dll file into the folder it gives me another one I don't have.

Oh and I also reinstalled windows 10 already, but that didn't give any results.
NullOrEmpty
Seems that we have the same problem :(

Here are dlls i have found and added to osu folder(It shows me another error anyway, you can check my thread)

You have a custom culture region set that osu! doesn't support.

Change the region settings of the operation system to a format whose LCID does not equal 4096. The format can be changed in Control Panel > Region > Formats.

Tried toggling between different culture regions but sadly it didn't change anything.

Okay so I did a bit of looking around in the hidden folders and I found these in an osu folder where I had it installed a while ago, but I didn't find any hidden files/folders in the new install path, but when I try to extract either of them it says they're corrupt. https://i.gyazo.com/3092a34d7a1e625e3a8 ... 884d50.png

The files are from 2014. You should just remove them.

I checked my Event Viewer and under Windows Logs, Application, this is all the information I could gather, when I tried launching osu!. I don't know if it's possible to make anything out of these, but I guessed it could be worth the shot. First box is from General and second box is from Details.

This is an iissue related to the .NET Framework. Have you tried repairing or reinstalling it? If that doesn't help and you don't want to spend forever trying to figure the issue out in order to solve it a system/OS repair is probably the quickest way to get this sorted.

I have already tried repairing the OS and after that didn't work reinstalling it completely, but it was of no use. I've also tried installing different frameworks with no results. All of this became a problem after I installed Win10. I really want to play Osu, but I also really don't want to resort to downloading an older OS. :(

Oh I also forgot to add, that I was able to play it a while ago, but I replaced the file and I can't find it again. I was able to download an older version of osu, the full folder packaged in a zip. It would update to about 40 percent, then stop there and say that there was an error with my connection, though when I closed the updater, the game would launch, alas, I could only play unranked single player and had to add maps manually, but atleast I could play.
