[Archived] Certain skins lag during KAI

Problem Details:

I've had no issue with fps on any other skins except for one skin im using. Everything works fine until kai time which drops my framerate to ~10 (from 60)
what might be causing it to do that?

Edit: The drop only happens when I enter kai and then returns to normal for the remaining duration of kai time.

Take the skin that have no Kiai effects and try it out, if no delays occur. (Star2.png is 1x1px blank)

You should check out cutting edge. Performance issues on stable are irrelevant.

Depending on the size of your star2.png, it will depend how it will impact on the game's performance because they are all generated multiple times. For example, if you use a larger star2.png (bigger than 100 px for example) it will likely cause fps drops. But when you use smaller star2.png, it will have little to no fps drops because they are smaller in size. Same goes for the song menu because the stars there (not the one in song selection) uses star2.png
