[resolved] "Beatmap is incomplete"

Hey, I hope that this is the correct forum (I think not)

Lastly I made a beatmap and also uploaded it. I can work and play with it, but when someone tries to download it, he always gets the error "the beatmap is incomplete". Re-Uploading didn't fix this. Any ideas?

Can you please export the package, and then upload that to osump/puush/dropbox/mediafire etc.
Then we can check the map and find problems
Or post the .osu file here, that also works

The .rar that you have uploaded is complete, but the .osz that is available to download on the beatmap page is incomplete. It has only the .mp3, the .osb archive and the background.

Try to update the map and don't leave the BSS (Beatmap Submission System) until it actually finishes.

It is still incomplete. The missing archives are the ones that have ö characters.

Could you change their names (remove the ö's) and upload the mapset again? You will need to change the difficulty names.

Yes
You can't have "weird" characters in it, like ë, Ë, ÿ, ã etc.
They all fail the upload

idk, it just appeared and doesnt seem to change if I retry uploading...weird thing...

You are not the only one getting that error. Please be patient and try again later.

Neither me nor a friend of mine can play the downloaded version. Doesn it really work for you?

Do you have any 0-byte .wav files (hitsounds) in the folder?
Delete those
I can't check atm, so I don't know

Removed resolved tag.

Would you mind exporting the map and uploading it to a server again (like you did with the first .rar) to see how it looks now? We will try to figure out what is wrong. The only thing that seems to be missing is the video. .osu archives are there now.

well if I try to run the .osz file I get the error again, so I have no folder in my osu folder with that. I only have the old zip file, which is unchanged. The downloaded .osz is now in the "failed" folder
