[Archived] How to do a Beatmap Pack?

Problem Details:
I can't download normal Beatmaps, just Beatmap Packs on this computer.
I've played osu on a other PC, so I've got some favourite Beatmaps and I wanna download them.
Can anyone help?

We'll need to know more than the fact that you can't download normal beatmaps.

What exactly is the issue and where does it occur? Any error message(s)? Provide some screenshots if possible.

It says: "Will be started"

I've been waiting for it 5 hours and nothing changed.

I've tried to download other things and it worked, so with my computer is nothing wrong. :?

Try to download it from another browser, like Internet Explorer or Firefox. If it doesn't work, I guess that's a routing issue. If it's a routing issue, it will most likely fix by itself, if you could download beatmaps before.

Try temporarily turning off your anti-virus and see if that works. If not feel free to re-enable it.

Other than that there's not much I can say. I doubt a different browser will work but try it anyway.

If you open these 2 links: http://bm4.ppy.sh/ and http://bm6.ppy.sh/ - Does it give you a page with a text saying "osu! download mirror"?

Seems like your Firewall or Antivirus is blocking the downloads from certain websites, try disabling it temporarily or to add the two links VeilStar posted above to the exceptions and see if that solves anything at all.

Other than that you could try changing browser but I doubt that would do anything.

Anyway did you ever have this problem before? Or it's happening only lately? It could be something related to your connection otherwise.

Did you try to download them with another browser? Because I'm thinking that the problem is your browser, if you are able to connect to that page.

Uhm yes I've tried it it download but It'll take 17 hours. Unusual for my pc but I'll wait it anyway

That's quite too much... Do you have this problem with another type of downloads? Or just from osu!?

And well... If you don't have this type of problem with another downloads and we can't find the problem (or just to use as a temporal solution), you can always use another mirror, like Bloodcat

That sounds like a routing issue then (at least for me), because it's impossible to download anything (you could but the download was so solow) if the antivirus/firewall is blocking it.

Strange. So you can reach the official beatmap mirrors but can't download files from them. And it's not like the file type is the issue as you can download from bloodcat. Not sure what more I can possibly say. Let us know if and when downloading beatmaps from osu.ppy.sh works fine again. Or otherwise provide some additional information if you happen to have or come across any.

Some ISPs just have shit routing to the beatmap servers. Simple as that.
