[Archived] Different local offset and online offset

Problem Details:
In some songs I have a local offset different to the "online offset". I think that's a little strange, and I trust the online offset more. How can I make my offset for that song match the online offset without modifying the beatmap such that it isn't ranked any more?

you seem to misunderstand the use of online/offline offset.
you dont have to match offline offset with online offset.
online offset is a small change made to the map after the song was ranked, because the staff found out that it was ranked with the wrong offset. this is already in effect and you dont have to do anything with it.
offline offset is when you see that you are not hitting the map in center so you can change it to fix that. you do this by pressing - (when hitting too eatly) or = (when hitting too late) while in the intro of a song.
