00:03:843 (2,3) - Here, the 3rd slider isn't needed, just extend and curve the 2nd one.
00:16:750 (1) - I suggest removing the spinner because it isn't really needed. Instead, try to fill in the space with a similar assortment of circles and sliders uup to this point
00:53:029 - In this black spot up until 00:55:471 a spinner is welcome.
01:24:424 (1) - Again, it's better to have everything in pairs. Replace the spinner with a similar layout to the one prior to this which starts from 01:18:145
02:08:378 (1) - Yet again, replace the slider with... Ah, you know...
02:41:866 - Here there can be a spinner or you can just leave it be, whatever.
03:46:052 - You can add something after the spinner right up to here 03:57:215

00:44:657 (4) - Try removing this and making the spinner start there.
01:25:122 (1) - Remove this and fill in the gap between 01:25:122 (1) and the start of the circles
03:40:819 (2,3,4) - Replace these or align them to the beat

Saw you on #modreqs, love this map so let's try to mod this

I checked the AIMod and it says there's letterbox and countdown conflicts between diffs. I don't think this is something which could be different between difficulties so you probably should look into it?

fergas' Normal

  1. 00:07:331 (3,1) - I wasn't sure what you're trying to follow here. 00:08:203 (1) - beginning on a red tick here doesn't look like a good idea to me because the dubstep (or wubwub w/e) is really louder than the harp/intrument so new players might be confused by this. It wasn't at the beginning but here it's kinda meh. I would start 00:08:203 (1) - at 00:08:378 - or try something else.
  2. 00:23:378 (3,4) - Same problem here. I took a lot of time to understand you were following the bass (which is really low) when you can follow something much easier for the new player like the dubstep or the instrument.
  3. 01:06:285 (2) - I would have 'killed' the hitsound on this slider's end the same way you can hear in the music (there's no beat here). You can keep it like that but I felt it's more enjoyable to play the map without this hitsound.
  4. 03:00:704 (2) - ^
  5. 01:11:168 (4) - I expected this slider to be slightly higher to have the same shape than 01:09:773 (1,2) - (I got something like x:312 y:32)
  6. 03:18:842 (1) - I hear the noise starting at 03:19:889 - so I think you could put the spinner here and map a little bit more. (one slider is enough, you can take 03:17:447 (4) - and paste it) http://sharpii.opieop.net/screenshots/a8WK1S11.png
Good job overall, nothing big, just some rhythms I found hard to listen for new players.

  1. 00:23:726 (1,2,3,4) - I don't understand your rhythm. The pattern is weird to play, probably because there's way too much sliders. This is something between following the instrument/wub/drums in the same time and it's really confusing.
  2. 00:46:052 (1) - mhmm k. You could have done something better than nothing + a really long spinner but w/e, it fits the song.
  3. 01:06:982 (1,2,3) - why? That's something I don't understand. You should be the one following the song, not forcing it where there's nothing to add (and please, don't say me I'm killing mapper's creativity). If you want to keep something on the "haaa" which is definitely alright, move 01:06:285 (3) - 's end to 01:06:982 - (remove the circle), remove the hitsound (~5/10%) and keep 01:07:331 (1) - , maybe with a better hitsound which would fit more the noise but well.. At least, it's following something.
  4. 01:30:006 - to 01:40:471 - This part is really good!
  5. 01:50:238 (1,2) - mhmm, there's something to map until 01:51:633 - .
  6. 03:00:006 (1,2,3,4) - this isn't a bad idea but it misses something until 03:01:401 - It feels blank when you play it.
Sorry if I sound rude, there's some good idea here but some parts look messy or rushed. I'm sure this can be improved so good luck!

Collab Hard


Really nice. It's polished, good hitsounding, nice ideas, there's no big mapping style differences between your parts so the flow is really good and the map is enjoyable to play. I've nothing interesting to say here and searching for nazi things would be ridiculous. Good job to all of you!

  1. 01:47:622 (2) - If you're following the instrument, I'm not sure this circle is really useful. It feels less strange if you remove it (even if it's ok right now because there's a beat here)
  2. 02:39:773 (2,3,4,1,2,3) - Same here. First time I played it, I thought 02:40:645 (2,3) - was the problem but when I looked on the editor, I didn't really understand this triplet 02:40:122 (3,4,1) - I think you can remove (4) and place (1) like this, so the double is less strange to play. http://sharpii.opieop.net/screenshots/g9nPTL35.jpg
  3. 03:00:006 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - I'm not sure about this, the rhythm is weird here. For me, 03:00:180 (2) - needs 2 more reverse so ends at 03:00:529 - After that, I'm not really sure what to do so I tried something but that's probably not the best... It's not my favorite style but it's good. Patterns and rhythm make sense with your style so I'm completely fine with it, good job!

Insane


  1. 02:49:889 (1) - Suggestion here but you could lower the hitsound on the beginning of this slider. This is at the same level than 00:55:471 (1) - but the music already started. Here, it's still calm so I think you can lower the volume a little bit.
Same comment than the hard diff. This is a great diff, not overmapped, the tricky parts for me would be 01:39:075 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - and 03:33:494 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - but it's completely playable so it looks all green to me.

Good or really good mapset overall, hope we'll see this soon in ranked.

00:03:843 (2,3) - The rhythm here doesn't fit. This is much better
00:07:331 (3,1) - Same here. Try this
00:48:494 (2) - Ending a slider on the start of a new measure only works in special occasions, but it doesn't work here. Do it like this
00:49:889 - Add a circle. It's necessary because of the increasing intensity of the buildup.
01:00:703 (5) - Remove NC
01:45:703 (4) - Rhythm messed up. Do it like this
02:42:912 (2) - Same here.
02:51:285 (3) - Extend this to the next red tick
02:55:121 (4) - Remove NC

Visually this diff is cool and after you've done these changes in rhythm it will be even better.

01:07:331 - The circle here isn't needed and removing it would give this part a nice dramatic break like in the song
01:30:703 (1,2) - Yeah fix the blanket here
01:40:819 (2,3) - These overlap by a tiny bit, it looks weird so separate them a little
01:51:285 - 01:51:633 - Why is this part not mapped? I don't see any good reason to suddenly stop mapping.
02:02:099 (1) - Tiny adjustment could be made to the curve on the tail of this to make it look a bit more natural
03:08:726 (5,6,7) - Might be just me but the positioning of these circles confuse the player to hit 7 before of 6. Consider changing this pattern especially since no other pattern like this appears in the map which even further throws the player off.
03:34:540 (6) - Could be a bit more curved for better blanket
03:40:471 (1,2,3,4) - Go for a perfect square here?

I liked the diff since it played really well rhythmwise, but then again that is only to be expected from this duo.

Collab Hard

- Maybe change the diffname to be a combination of the collaborators like in all of the other collab diffs this set has?
01:16:750 (5) - NC here
01:17:447 (1) - Remove NC
02:07:680 (2) - I feel like this circle could be removed to keep up with the rhythm that the trumpet has been providing. With this current circle the cool rhythm that it offers is momentarily broken and it feels weird
03:11:866 (1) - Unnecessary NC
03:34:192 (1) - Same here but if you want to emphasize the square shape with a new combo then I guess it's fine, as long as the comboing is consistant with itself

Really well done difficulty. Couldn't find anything that impactful that would have been holding the diff back.

-In general I noticed that the combos on this difficulty are really not on point. I'm not going to point out the NC swaps because of the sheer amount of them, and because I trust that you know how to place them properly :D
00:16:052 (3,4) - The extra repeat on this should be dropped because of the distance between these sliders and ultimately 1x repeat fitting much better to the rhythm.
00:52:680 (2) - Maybe make this a 1/8 slider? I feel like it plays more dramatic and closer to the music
00:55:122 (3) - I'll point out this NC because this is optional. I think it could be cool to have a NC here though
01:03:843 (5,6,1) - Since this is a straight line the spacing inconsistency here feels really weird. Either make them all equally spaced from eachother, or change up the pattern.
01:06:895 (9) - Consider 1/8 slider again for the dramatic effect
01:09:075 (4,1) - Stack these properly
01:11:692 (3,1) - You can do the same here if you like but not necessary
01:34:366 (8,1,2,1) - Again with the straight line spacing thingy :D
01:46:401 (2) - Either stack this or space it out a tiny bit more and align better with the triplet
02:49:802 (2,3) - Ehh why is this different in terms of where the circles begin from 00:55:122 (3) - ?? You should definetly make these alike atleast in terms of where the player starts to play them timingwise
03:01:314 - Consider 1/8
03:41:518 (4,5,6) - Spacing xd

Sorry if some points here seem nazi but you know; the better the difficulty, the smaller the things to point out are xd

Insane

Consider changing AR to 9,1 since it would fit better imo. Also since the rhythm is really simple with the map I strongly recommend making the OD to 8.2-8.5 ATLEAST or heck you can even go for a OD9 if you feel like it, since it would fit very well too
00:44:657 (1,2) - I think this spacing catches players off guard since they are so closely spaced and suggest that the rhythm here is faster than it actually is. Either somehow space these out more or stack on top of eachothers to fix this :p
01:17:796 (1) - Is this NC really needed?
01:37:680 (1) - Fix the curve on this. It looks unnatural as it is now
02:37:680 (1,2) - Again with the tricky spacing to throw players off. This is really easy to fix and I highly recommend it
03:17:447 (3,4) - Space closer to eachother?

02:20:936 (3) - ну вот никак мне этот слайдер не нравится, он не вписывается; может, обойдешься без реверса?
02:51:982 (4,5,6) - из-за такого обилия слайдеров, а так же, из-за встречаюшихся 1/2 в киай — эти три серкла выглядят вне контекста; думаю, 1/1 слайдер туда будет очент хорошо.

How can I see your Advanced is mapped with 1.4 spacing but 01:49:889 (2,1) - you use 1.6 here.
Else is great.

00:58:436 (7,1) - вот тут у вас 2.5 спейсинг, хотя дальше вы использовали 1.5 после, не дело, пример — 01:04:017 (7,1) - вот тут.
