Battling Fails
Problem Details:
I'm having trouble opening the beatmaps to osu. How do I open them on Windows 8?

If you mean "importing" beatmaps, either double click or drag the .osz into the osu window.

If that doesn't work (or if you're importing in bulk), put the downloaded .osz into osu!\Songs and hit F5 in the Song Select screen.

when I click it it says that you need a different program to use it

Are you sure that you're importing .osz (which should have an osu icon)? Dragging them into the osu window is usually enough.

If you've downloaded beatmap packs, which is .zip or .rar, you'll need to extract them first to get to the .osz files.
