[Archived] Can't reInstall Osu!

Problem Details: I uninstalled the game because my computer wasnt letting me open it, so I did what I described. When I try to install the game again with osu offline installer a little square pops up saying Windows did not responded well or something like that to the instalation proccess.

I need help :s

PD: OS: Windows XP

Isn't osume deprecated ?
Are you sure you have microsoft .net (dot net) ? If you don't, osu! won't run.

Are all (or at least most of) the files in the installation folder, even though you get this error message?
If so, try to launch osu! and see what happens. If it doesn't work run osume.exe to try and update that way.
