Problem Details:
.osz file is not able to be properly unpackaged by osu! with Japanese characters in background image filename. Says the beatmap is corrupt despite it being completely playable when the file is transferred using .zip or other compression methods.

Video or screenshot showing the problem:
You can download my original map zip here: http://puu.sh/ciyC8.zip and export package to .osz, and try to put it back into osu!. It will say the file is corrupt and move it to Failed.

OR

Just make any map with a background image in Japanese, and try to export the beatmap and put it back into osu!.

Problem Details:
Update: I've fixed my problem by changing the image file name to alphanumerics. It was originally in kana. I guess I'll change it into a bug report now.

My latest beatmap (found here) seems to be corrupted. I'm not quite sure what I am doing wrong, as I have not edited any of the map files manually and have tried updating it multiple times to no avail. I have also had many friends try to download this map and they have the same problem. (The beatmap moves to failed/corrupt folder)

Here is the song file. Please help me identify what I can do to fix this. :( The extension is .zip, so you'll have to unzip it into your osu! songs folder to have it on osu!. The song is playable by others this way. (but not via download through the songs page despite it being the exact same file as the one in the most recent beatmap update)

Sorry if this is not the right section to post this.

You can emulate the problem by downloading the beatmap yourself and trying to put it into osu!. I'm not quite sure what the problem is :(
