Problem Details:
So, today, while on osu!, I realized that osu! was not connecting to bancho. My internet was connected and I tried resetting my internet many times. osu! would still not connect to bancho. I was running the latest version of osu! by the way. Later today I uninstalled osu! and I tried to download it again. While it was downloading, I got a message saying "An error occurred! Please check your internet connection." And yes, I was connected to the internet. Can someone help me out? I would greatly appreciate it.

getting an old version of osu.exe would fix the problem for a while, but since ppy said it's not a solution, then i won't suggest you to do that

if you're able to, try a different ISP?

That is correct behaviour for the site. I have no idea why it isn't working for you. Uninstall any antivirus software you have?

Here's what the installer looks like when I try to download osu! again.

And you can see that I am indeed connected to the internet.
Should I try the offline installer?

You definitely don't have any firewall or antivirus software installed?

I got the same problem, I tried to install all the launchers but all failed. I don't have antivirus.

It was my computer itself was the problem. I have been getting many BSODs and I had to restore my computer. I now can play osu! again.

I have the same problem that the Osu! asks to check the Internet connection, but there is interent.
