Problem Details:
Alot of my maps load for ever and then my computer is gets all laggy and stuff. If I close osu while its lagging it appears as a black screen but the music still plays, shutting the lid doesnt help either, the computer just stays on and i cant do anything on it. This problem occurs only sometimes, not everyday. This problem started quite recently for me.

Why oh why have you closed your laptop when it was loading.

Try reinstalling osu! or restarting your computer. Looks like bad loading.

I meant shutting the lid. I meant it was still on and everything as soon as I open it as a sign of lag. Usually it will go to the lock screen.

Sounds like issue with your hard drive? Try checking it's SMART state and scan for bad sectors? How much FPS do you get?

ive got no problems with my fps, always in the 120-130 fps range. I tried cleaning my pc, defragging, everything. Only starts lagging when i play the maps that i used to play alot.
