Floating Cloud - Intermission ~rainy forest~~


- Le style de mapping est intéressant mais impose un low CS. Je ne sais honnêtement pas si c'est rankable, il faudrait peut-être contacter un BAT/QAT pour avoir la confirmation.
- Je pense qu'essayer d'utiliser un autre style de hitsounds pourrait être intéressant. Parce que bon, les soft whistles c'est bien, mais classique xD
Si tu as un custom hitsound en réserve, tu peux tester. Sinon, bah, essaye les drums ? ._.
- Donne un nom original à ta Easy diff. Par exemple, si un jour tu veux créer une Hard (bon courage...) tu peux la nommer Storm. owo
- L'ajout d'un spinner dans les deux diffs serait envisageable.

- 00:11:832 (1,2) - j'ai comme l'impression qu'elles sont pas en rythme, ces deux là, à voir. As-tu essayé de les placer sur le même BPM que les autres, tout simplement ? L'utilisation d'un beat snap plus grand ne devrait pas poser de problème.
Aussi je te conseillerais d'utiliser un slider, car ces deux-là particulièrement sont plus difficiles à cliquer en rythme que les autres.
- 00:15:593 (2,1) - les rendre parallèles serait pas mal imo. Et pourquoi pas leur donner une forme originale.
- 00:53:501 (2) - waaat, 1/8, pas d'autre choix?
- 01:12:821 (2) - supprime ce slider et reprends à 01:14:941 - ça donne plus de sens


Rain
- 00:18:202 (1) - alors ici tu mets un whistle à la reverse arrow mais pas à la fin du slider ? Pourtant il s'agit de sons identiques.
- 00:46:898 (4) - c pa bo
- 01:12:821 (1,2,3,4,5) - faudrait savoir ce que tu mappes. Les notes en premier ou arrière plan. Surtout que là ça fait un bond de difficulté soudain et, hm... Je ne sais pas si c'est rankable.

Aussi je te conseillerais d'utiliser un slider, car ces deux-là particulièrement sont plus difficiles à cliquer en rythme que les autres. Elles le sont pas, quand j'ai essayé de map, j'ai remarqué que c'était plus rapide que les autres. Toute façon, pour moi, le long slider qui vient ensuite donne une impression de "doute" au joueur, fin il sait pas si le bpm va changer ou pas, au final.. J'pense qu'elles sont faciles à hit. uwu

  • 00:53:501 (2) - Ne le fait pas partir sur du 1/8 par pitié. C'est la plus facile des diffs alors fait le commencer à 00:53:419 - , et ça ne choque pas tant que ça à l'écoute. Franchement, au playback rate 25%, je pense vraiment qu'on peut distinguer ça, et bon, j'préfère encore le mettre dans le bon timing... Je verrai avec d'autres suggestions si c'est vraiment pas possible de le garder.
  • 00:59:289 (3) - Petite erreur de DS (1.11x au lieu de ~1.20x) oops
  • 01:13:637 - Peut être add un circle ici mais c'est purement mon avis. Ca fait vraiment un rythme bizarre avec ce cercle, non?
  • 01:28:637 (3) - Un poil plus courbé pour le flow. J'pense que le flow est correct ici

  • Using muted slidertick is unrankable, you must make slidertick audible.


Easy



  • 00:25:376 (3) - Adjust distance with this object, the difference is a little noticeable.
  • 00:28:637 (1) - end this slider on the downbeat later, you still can hear something if you listen to this part with 25% speed. And it will also avoid the polarity issue between this and the next object.
  • 01:18:202 (2) - adjust the distance with 01:15:593 (1,2) - , you see a lower distance compared to 01:12:821 (2,1) - for example.

I really have doubts concerning timing, many objects sound offbeat, if you listen carefully with 25% speed.
Try to get a timing check by an experienced modder/BAT. And then i will be able to do something to push this map forward.

I checked, and i added a 90 BPM section for the first slider, then 92 for the whole map. It sounds way better, actually you were right, every note was delayed 1/16 earlier, and it's fixed now. Except for two sliders which i can't change because the song is like that, flute too strong ;_;

General
Romanised Title should be "Makuai ~Amefuru Mori~". You can add your current title to the tags though.
You can add these tags: "c79 comiket 東方アイリッシュ 東方風神録 ~ Mountain of Faith" 東方アイリッシュ is album title and 東方風神録 ~ Mountain of Faith is game title.

maybe increase overall distance snap by 0.1? I don't really like how is every object touching each other, looks really unpolished
00:11:877 (1) - i wouldn't recommend to start easy/normal difficulty with notes because it can be hard to get 300 here, because you don't hear any rhythm before

Rain
A lot of unsnapped things. But you can leave them, because I asked TicClick for help with timing and he promised to provide it at evening.

01:14:048 (3,4) - this pattern is pretty clustered and hard to read, maybe better to leave that sound and use 2 1/2 sliders?
01:16:819 (3) - how about using slider here that ends here 01:17:312 - here? will looks much easier with that kickslider before that looks questionable
01:23:341 (2) - you didn't use such a "fast" notes before, maybe better to ignore this sound and delete that note? it looks just pretty sudden because you didn't use it before and can be pretty hard

Yeah but when the song forces you to map that slowly, you cannot make a hard overmapped diff just for the sake of "being allowed to use small CS". I wanted to use that CS because the song is very calm and the background "dark", and the slow rhythm make me want to do this. If it's not allowed because it's "too easy", i don't understand. It's the hardest diff i made (along with an even more Easy diff), and yet i'm not free with settings. (not talking about extremes like AR/OD10).

Do you mean the whole part? Because i listened carefully (playback rate 25%) and i found out those 5 sliders (+4 next ones) are delayed 1/16ms later, so instead of moving all of them in weird yellow tick, i added a red section 1/16ms earlier (here) and added one when it comes back to normal. I think it's way more better like that.
There is also one other part just after that moment (probably around 1:18-1:20) that i find weird ; yellow tick sounds so much better than normal one, and next slider sounds better 1/16 (or 1/8) ms earlier. As i'm not in-game atm, i can't tell exactly which moment it is: but i know that it's two -longs- sliders in the top (left-corner) of the screen, if that can help you.

I'm not saying that the timing is bad, it's the contrary since it helped me a lot with most parts. Except the parts i mentioned, there's no problems as i -fastly- checked.

I also reduced some end of sliders to 10%. To me, they sound better if i end them earlier as the flute ends earlier than white tick (but later than blue tick) when we listen to it. Happened twice, and i wonder if i should keep them or move to -weird- tick again.
Didn't uploaded yet, i'll do it tomorrow probably.

Please stop using 25% playback as it distorts the audio and you are unable to hear it unchanged; for details, talk to Charles.
Have you play tested the said parts and found them still being off?
It would also help a lot more if you posted more timestamps with exact changes and way less words

The parts sounds "correct" but it sounds better with some -slight- changes. Yes i tested them with normal audio and it does.
Sorry about timestamps, wasn't in-game to link them. Will surely link them when i'll be home.

EDIT: here are the moments that are questionable to me

  • 01:10:548 (1,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4) - as there isn't any red section around and blue tick sounds weird, i added a red section at this moment for this part, changed back at 01:18:375.
  • 01:21:962 (2,3) - Outside the problem that the slider overlaps the red section (not blaming anyone ofc), i moved 01:23:578 earlier because it sounds better, and not only in 25% playback, in 100% too. Added another section to "revert" back the delay after this slider.

Updated with your timing and some of my -slight- changes, i think that they're better but i'm not claiming it as ready yet, needs to be checked.
