Just a thread to talk about HoN, find other people playing, share IGNs and such.

If I can ever get some keys, I'll see if I can't help someone out. General Description via Wiki. SPOILER (click to toggle) The game comprises two factions that battle against one another in every game. The factions, the Hellbourne and the Legion, offer players a wide variety of unique heroes that the player controls in the game[6]. The heroes of each faction are organized into three categories; strength heroes, intelligence heroes, and agility heroes. Currently there are a total of fifty-nine heroes consisting of thirty on the Legion side and twenty-nine on the Hellbourne side. Every hero comes with their own unique style of play and their own animations and sounds, much like in DotA. Although many of the heroes were directly transferred from DotA, there are a few new heroes that S2 has added that were not previously part of DotA. Heroes of Newerth is basically a DotA (Defence of the Ancients, from Warcraft III.) clone on visual steroids. It features two opposings sides that fight against each other. You control one of many heroes, in teams of up to 5vs5 (which is usually how games are played.) and attempt to destroy the other side's main base. Creeps (Weak NPCs) are generated every 30s that will engage in battle, and you will attempt to push each lane until destroying outer towers, and eventually the main base. An average game is probably about 30 minutes. Yup. My IGN is iJRock for anyone that's interested. I've never actually played LoL, it looks interesting, maybe a bit kiddy. I should probably try it some time. I think my favorite character would have to be.. Arachna, just because I loved Drow in DotA. Also like playing Tree and Nymph. Ranged AGI carries and babysitters in general are fun to me. #1 Shinxyn fan~

HoN graphic are so much better then LoL, but that is because i don't like cell shaded games. but it's true, when i first started playing the game i couldn't understand shit in team fights, but you will eventually when you get into it more. ~Wa wa wa Wasuremono~

It amazes me how developers with entire teams can't make a better stand alone game than a fucking custom map for a 6 year old RTS. |
