Awesome song by Stan SB (nowdays knowns as Fox Stevenson). Hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enojyed mapping it!

Firt of all, you should change the diff name to something more fun, like [Alive] or something you can come up with.
It's just a little more fun if the diff has a more fun name :P

00:10:349 (4,1) - You should try to match those up with the vocals. The 2nd slider should be 2 seperate sliders that match the vocals imo

01:19:264 (1,2,3) - You should consider moving these notes up a bit so it matched the slider a little better

01:38:464 (1) - You should move this note a little closer to the slider, the slider feels as a suprize otherwise

01:44:978 (3) - Move this slider a little closer

02:00:064 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - You should flip this stream so it looks kinda like this http://puu.sh/8aTk5.jpg

04:12:064 (1) - Move this closer to the next slider

I don't personally have alot of problems with this map, I really love it! :D

Hi there!! Saw your mod request on #modreqs. I have a soft spot for Stan SB/Fox Stevenson, see... ;)

As for the map, well... It was AMAZING!!! I love the style, kinda like Kyshiro and [Luanny] got in bed together and this was the outcome :lol:
There was almost nothing I could really find, except one slight detail, this is probably really picky though:

03:39:492 - The circle directly after the spinner is fairly easy to miss, seeing as it takes a little bit of time to recalibrate your aim after the spinner

Asides that, this is an awesome map, professionally and very well mapped and I look forward to seeing this ranked!!

Love the song, too :)

Hello, saw your post on #modreqs and since I love this song I had to help you.
But I don't have a lot of experience in mapping/modding, but I'll try to do what I can :

00:12:406 (2) - I don't get why this slider starts here, I would rather make two circles at 00:12:749 (2) and 00:13:092 (3)

00:23:549 (1) - I think the spacing is a bit too high between this circle and the slider after, maybe consider to rotate or move the slider right before.

00:27:321 (4) , 00:32:806 (5) - Those circles aren't necessery, imo they overload the slow rythm.

02:12:064 (2) and 02:14:121 (1) - Maybe consider remapping this part to fit more with the vocals. I would see here more a single tap (1/2) combo with a few sliders

02:26:121 (8) - Sneaky circle.

As promised, here the end of my mod :

04:35:035 (1) - Again I don't get why you start again (I mean after the spinner) at this moment and why not earlier with the vocals, I would remap this 1st combo

04:41:206 (4,5) - I would delete those two sliders but you seem to love filling the "blanks" in the music.

04:56:292 (1) - Same as before, but here I can understand your choice because the "instruments" start again here


Sorry if you expected more but the rest of the map seem fine. There are still some little things I would map in another way but I respect your mapping style ;)


Anyway it's still a great map, you've done a nice job here, I hope you'll get it ranked !

On the first one I agree on and removed the circle but I left the other 00:32:806 circle there because imo it fits there

I hate it when a circle / combo begins right after a spinner, I feel like one should get to finish the spinner completely and then prepare for following, but I just might do something with this part

Yes, especially at harder diffs it just feels weird if there is a sudden blank spot, so I'll leave them there :P

Hey from Gecko's Mod Queue! Your advice was similar to everyone else's but it helped my get the timing and offset corrected so thanks! Now on to the mod!

General: Maybe it's intended, but it's a 6:00min map with no breaks! My hand started getting fatigued around 3/4 of the way through the song. Perhaps consider adding a break section to allow people a quick rest and time to re-position their hands.

00:10:399 The vocals that start here kind of drown out the hitsounds for me (I am using headphones too!). I can still hear them, but having them slightly louder would make it easier to hear the flow of the hitsounds.
00:31:314 (2) - Move this to x:444 y:172 to be lined up with the 3 slider
01:15:542 Where the Kiai time begins the hitsounds are drowned out again. I noticed that once I turned on the ignore beatmap hitsounds option I was okay. Perhaps just make hitsounds SLIGHTLY louder overall. Don't wanna go overboard lol.
00:54:971 (1) - I think it's really cool/great when the sound really makes you feel like you hit a different part/section of the music. I noticed you don't really have transition hitsounds throughout the whole song and parts end and begin on the same hitsounds that are consistent throughout the meat of the music. Because I am a stickler for hitsounds, I took the liberty of going through a few places and adding them where I deemed appropriate. It seems you ended sections with claps, and started next ones with finishes, so I tried to keep your style. Hope you don't mind. Ignore this if you do XD. So I added finish sounds as follows:

There are more bugs you should fix, mostly imperfect blankets and spacing. I skip those because they're way too much and leaving it for you to repolish them. Fix those and your map shall be near-perfect, I guarantee.

Really nice map. Your mapping style kinda reminds me to Kyshiro (as you also hitsound the same way he usually does).
If you made this to ranking, this map will be a booming map as Dead is Stan SB's best work so far.
