Round 17: Rainbow Sliders
 Nominated by MetalMario201. Large, arc-shaped sliders which generally take up one half of the screen. Best used in places with long, climactic, held notes, sort of like spinners. EBA is just full of them. Map(s) Most EBA maps. eg. Kevin Ridel - Without a Fight ~Mapping Technique Nominations~ |

2. Nothing special.
I prefer shapes like zigzags or waves or loop-the-loops or circles/stars/hearts/whatever over these. |

I like the look of these and can give a nice break to a hard map but not be a break. 4 only cause they can also kill you with not enough ticks and low HP.

A lot of the time these can flow extremely well with the music; I wish people would use them more often.

While not necessarily the most beautiful or creative technique, they are a good time waster and a good break for harder maps when you need a break. However, I have seen plenty of abuse (by DJPop), and it is very easy to improperly use these if you're just starting mapping and have no idea if it will flow correctly or not. 3.

They're sexy when used with kiai and a non-fast slider velocity with maybe a couple of repeats thrown in <3
