[Archived] Osu freezes on the first click

Problem Details: I open Osu and it goes fine but then once i do the first click everything just stops. I just got it today

We need more information than that. What programs are you running? How much resources are being taken up? Is your framerate dropping when this happens? Have you tried switching to a different renderer through options?

Does using a different frame limiter (F7) help?

well im new to this so i dont know much and everytime i click on something it freezes but you can still here the options sound choosing thingy.

Hold Shift while starting osu! to reach a recovery dialog. Try messing around with options there.

If you still having the problem..
Go through the option without clicking anything
Just press 'e' and then 'o'
Scroll down to the renderer
Click the directx

If this works, let me know
