Welcome! Don't push yourself for a rank/deadline... 1000 isn't all that crazy of a number, but be sure to take it easy in the process, else you'll go crazy and/or lose tons of sleep =P.

I was going for the top 100, but when I don't play for a couple of days I lose 5 ranks or so. People are sure competitive. I just play for the fun now.
