halfway through! 11/22 done. I'll be editing this post instead of making new ones until the thread reaches a new page.

As of 27/01: 22/22! I'm done judging. Quite a good turnout; about half the entries were above average (more than 40 points). That's not to say that I didn't see a fair share of poor or plain inexplicable design, though. However, I hope those mappers will benefit from the experience as well. Good luck, everyone!

Thanks to everyone who was able to participate. Even with Black Sheep's small count of 14 entries, there were some very strong contenders! I'm finding it difficult to pick a "favourite" among my top four entries, but we'll have to wait for the results to see how it plays out.

...and that's it, i'm done.

For Wind Climbing, there was no middle ground. You either did very well or very poor... i'm disappointed as a whole. First timers should NOT be mapping for a official contest...

I don't really think it's a bad thing for newbs to enter. Sure it ups the workload for the judges when they won't win, but it encourages people who may be great mappers in the future to start
