Despite getting a much better score on this song, it did not submit and therefore I did not get any PP from it. It took me a while to get that score too. I was online as well so it should've submitted. How do I fix this?

Keep the client open and hope that the score will submit.
If nothing happens sadly you've lost it, just make a better record next time!

osu! keeps retrying to submit your score for 1 hour, if you close your client during that time it's gone for good.
