I am often hit with just a black screen whenever I try to alt-tab back into osu after alt-tabbing out to go and download maps. I have to spam alt-tab a couple of times in order to see the menu screen again. This becomes problematic when I am trying to play multiplayer. I don't like making people wait for me to download maps.
