Hello, This is my first forum post. Sorry if I mess up something.

I have been getting this error message all of a sudden,

I was playing osu! and at first it showed me a message about a new update. I have decided to ignore it for now and play it. But after sometime i got a another message saying the game is crashed and will try to keep running it. At this moment I tried to exit the game to update the game. The main menu was messed up too. The osu logo was not showing up but i was able to exit the game. Afterward launching the game again showed me the updater box and it didnt found any update, so the game launched. But the error shown above came. I tried and searched many things. One guy got it fixed by reinstalling the game and reinstalling .NET framework. I also did it all. But none of them got it fixed. I checked all my drivers too and they seems to work fine.
I have been playing it for a month and it worked without any issues.

im afraid your gpu doesnt support the version of opengl that osu requires to run, try restarting your pc, that might fix your error but im afraid you have to wait for support to send you further instruction

Thanks a lot for your answer. I restarted my PC but still has the same issues. Ill wait for support for the instructions then. Thanks again ;D

Please provide the runtime.log in your osu!/Logs folder.

I find the same error, but it is worth asking where is rumtime.log to try

I dont see any runtime.log file in the osu directory (located at AppData\Local\osu!\Logs). I only saw update-success.log file there.

FOUND A SOLUTION!

The old installer will work on it.
here: https://m1.ppy.sh/release/osu!install.exe

Please use the edit button instead of posting three separate times.

If your GPU supports OpenGL 2.0+ then you don't need to use that installer. You most likely need to just restart your computer or reinstall your drivers. If your GPU does not meet those requirements then using that will work, just make sure you point it to the right filepath or it will install to another location.

Intel GMA 3150 only seems to support OpenGL 1.5
