[resolved] Osu updater not working

I haven't played in a loooong time, and now im triying to update the game,
and it keeps saying "An error as ocurred, please check your internet connection"

The problem its not my internet.
it updates to 20% and stops.
plz halp


i dont even know what version is, when i open the game the updater pops up

P.D.: im using windows xp

Double check to make sure nothing is being blocked in your firewall.
Double check that your antivirus is not stopping osu! from updating. You can temporarily disable it, however do this at your own risk and be sure to enable it as soon as you are done.
Release/Renew your IPConfig and flush your DNS
Restart your Modem & Router

If none of the above steps work, navigate to your osu!\Logs folder and provide your update.log.

none of them seems to work, and im not going to restart the modem, there is people using internet.

but i copied the osu folder from my bro cpu, and it worked. Thanks anyways
