Discord has long been, and by far the best, replacement of Skype from a considerable time on the part of the osu community, including host for streaming tournaments (commentators) and the means of messaging users out of the PM and messages in Bancho.
It would be nice if they put a section for the discord user, as I have seen users annotate it in the skype section.
