I'm kinda divided on that. On one hand, AR9 is great. On the other hand, AR9DT is awful and AR8.5 definitely works at this difficulty level...

for now just edit its settings for yourself if you want (its unranked anyway)

  • 00:16:075 (1) - 00:18:742 (1) - 00:29:409 (1) - According to the ranking criteria, you should avoid 1/1 sliders with multiple reverses. This slider is actually 1.5/1, but the same concept applies. It would be best to rearrange rhythm so that it doesn't feature these.
  • 00:24:075 - 00:29:409 - this bit feels heavily undermapped and skips over a lot of sounds that would support an Easy's rhythm structure. I suggest you raise rhythm intensity
  • 00:56:075 (1,2) - Bad rhythm choice. The kiai is supposed to have a higher rhythm density and you skip on so many 1/1 drums and snares. Here rhythm should be constant 1/1, without gaps, as well as the rest of the kiai

  • 00:30:242 (1,2,3,4) - Here you don't visually represent spacing at all. 1-2-3 have the same rhythm but are spaced differently, 3-4 is visuall identical to 2-3 but has different rhythm
  • 01:27:492 (1) - Again, don't use high volume when there's no sound at all.

Advanced assuming you meant the Standard difficulty here
  • 00:00:076 (1,1) - These slidertails aren't ending on any sound and 00:01:242 - 00:03:909 - are being skipped on, I suggest you remove reverses and add an hitricircle there. all parts of this slider are on a sound, and I think it's the best way to simplify mapping the piano
The rest of the map is rather straightforward and I don't have any real corrections to make.

hmm idk the rest of the difficulty uses a lot of 1/2 too. even if I changed it here I'd have to remap the kiai no? I think the difficulty of the map itself fits in the spread though so maybe i should rename it to Advanced (which is between normal/hard) I do think, relative to hard, it's got too many 1/2 sliders

I don't know how to reasonable fix it. You mentioned a triangle, how though? anyhow, no matter what the solution, it'll kill the blanket and make a pattern that's worse than the square i think. Suggestions? [color=##00BFFF]edit: during gameplay you can't see the overlap directly due to the approach rate and the previous pattern fading quickly after being hit. So it doesn't feel that cluttered, so I'm keeping it[/color]
  • 00:05:409 (1,2,3) - 2 is supposed to stand out, not 3. Reduce spacing from 2 to 3, increase from 1 to 2 i disagree, the melody definitely stresses 3 not 2. This is consistent with all other diffs and places where this comes up
  • 00:30:242 (1,2,3,4) - Here you don't visually represent spacing at all. 1-2-3 have the same rhythm but are spaced differently, 3-4 is visuall identical to 2-3 but has different rhythm this part's gone through many versions and frankly i didn't really like it myself either. I made 3 into a slider that makes the rhythm clear. I originally didn't want to do this because the entire section is about reading/timing, with mostly not filler rhythm or sliders.
  • 01:27:492 (1) - Again, don't use high volume when there's no sound at all. alright fine I'll mute them both with a little fadeout during spintime :P
