soft-hitnormal.wav and soft-hitwhistle.wav are identical sounds. Any reason for this?

I'd strongly suggest not using the default hitsounds for the beginning part. It might sound fine with your skin pack but with mine for example, it doesn't sound right and doesn't fit in at all. This can also be fixed by lowering the sound further.

hard
00:11:256 (11256|1) - Apply a finish hitsound. Perhaps drum-hitfinish.wav at about 10%
00:25:233 (25233|3,25233|1,25574|0,25574|2) - ctrl-h for pitch. Change notes around to fit
00:34:437 (34437|1) - add a note for rhythm
00:43:642 (43642|1,43642|2) - move to 34 for drum pitch
00:33:074 (33074|3) - Hitsound with drum-hitfinish.wav at 15%
00:43:983 (43983|3) - ^
00:56:596 (56596|0,57619|0,57960|2,58983|0) - Apply whistles to all of these and every example of this throughout kiai
01:04:778 (64778|0,64778|2) - This shouldn't be a double
01:12:108 (72108|2) - Strong sound here that i'd strongly suggest mapping
01:27:676 (87676|2) - This isn't mapped to anything (the piano sound is earlier)

I'd strongly suggest not using the default hitsounds for the beginning part. It might sound fine with your skin pack but with mine for example, it doesn't sound right and doesn't fit in at all. This can also be fixed by lowering the sound further. lowered to 10 for all

hard
00:11:256 (11256|1) - Apply a finish hitsound. Perhaps drum-hitfinish.wav at about 10% uhm, this portion is just piano + vocals, so I do not apply drum at all here
00:25:233 (25233|3,25233|1,25574|0,25574|2) - ctrl-h for pitch. Change notes around to fit alright
00:34:437 (34437|1) - add a note for rhythm this sound is more of a rim or click hit, deserves only 1 note
00:43:642 (43642|1,43642|2) - move to 34 for drum pitch rite
00:33:074 (33074|3) - Hitsound with drum-hitfinish.wav at 15% 50% will do :^)
00:43:983 (43983|3) - ^ no, theres a finish on 3, you cannot use more than 2 of the same hitsound on the same line
00:56:596 (56596|0,57619|0,57960|2,58983|0) - Apply whistles to all of these and every example of this throughout kiai alright
01:04:778 (64778|0,64778|2) - This shouldn't be a double okie
01:12:108 (72108|2) - Strong sound here that i'd strongly suggest mapping strong sound? that's more of like a voice that surges in than a strong sound aka drum sounds. can't map much here im an idiot. added
01:27:676 (87676|2) - This isn't mapped to anything (the piano sound is earlier) moved it to 1/16 snap
Thanks dude :D

hi, random , felt like it etc (don't expect too much ahue , and you can ignore kudos if you want, tho i'd like to make my total kudos count round that would be nice .....*sigh* )

here goes nothing

[Hard]
00:02:392 (2392|1,2733|3) - couldn't thoose two be a trill , the same pitch is repeating, and it would feel quite nice I think

00:13:983 (13983|2,13983|3,14324|0,14324|1,14665|2,14665|1) - here you use the bass and melody of the piano to make doubles but then
00:23:528 (23528|0) - here you aren't using doubles, but the bass is very certainly changing so according to other scheme it should be doubles
00:24:892 (24892|3) - same here, you should have one more note , according to the first pattern point out , it's litteraly the same type of sounds
00:28:301 (28301|0,29665|1) - same for thoose two, eventho they are more quiet so it's okay I guess
00:33:756 (33756|0,35119|0) - maybe thoose in 2 would make a bigger impact, as they aren't really the same sound as the chord before that
00:36:483 (36483|0,37847|0) - ^ same
00:48:074 (48074|3) - I think a normal whistle or a drum finish would blend better with the song
01:00:176 (60176|3,60176|2,60261|0,60261|1,60346|2,60346|3) - not too sure about this, maybe simples would do
01:11:085 (71085|2,71085|1,71256|3,71256|0) - this one works because there is not 1/4 rythm mixed with the 1/2 , so the one above is probably abit confusing for a hard
01:19:267 (79267|0,79352|1,79437|2,79437|3) - heyyyy and here you did it, : 3
01:22:165 (82165|1) - could add one here maybe
01:27:619 (87619|0,87619|1) - not too sure why this is a double, it's not really a big deal , but there isn't really a bigger drum sound here so, unless you mapped the piano aswell as a separated note

anyway, that is, Good Luck

Just to clarify this, if i say something about 0/1/2/3, i mean the 4 keys you are using for playing (1 = most left key, 4 = most right key).
Anyways, let's go!!!

Hard
00:14:665 (14665|2,14665|1) I'd suggest breaking the doubles on these sounds a bit, like, taking one of the 2 notes and placing it 1/16th earlier
00:32:562 (32562|0) Ghostnote
00:34:778 I'd add one note here
00:55:574 I'd add one note here to emphasize it a bit more
01:00:006 I would suggest changing the following pattern into this because 1: You do not get a broken stream and 2: Jacking with your index fingers is more comfortable

01:05:801 (65801|1) Would delete this
01:08:358 (68358|0,68528|1,68528|2) Add a note in between and move 01:08:528 (68528|1) to 0
01:20:460 (80460|0,80631|3) Would put them together to a jack since it is the same sound

Nice map so far, please rank!!!

00:34:778 I'd add one note here super hard to hear anything, and I'm not following the vocals for this part

Heartless
00:18:415 - add 1 note here see reason in Normal
00:32:562 - ^ justified from LordTimeWaste, super subtle sound not worth mapping
00:49:437 - add on column 4 it isn't the super big climax yet so a 3 note hit shouldn't be necessary
00:55:403 - add on col 1 that shouldn't be necessary too
01:00:517 - add 1 a bit overmapping, the notes represent that the drums are of a higher pitch
01:01:028 - add on col 2 alright
01:04:778 - add 1 for bassdrum sound too subtle and it feels awkward if I do the same 2 2 2 note pattern here compared to the others
01:07:846 - add 1 note

01:25:574 - ^ i see what you are aiming for, added and edited some

Normal
00:18:415 - add 1note that's vocal mapping but i want to map piano here first
00:21:483 (21483|1) - u can change this into LN this sound isn't held down. it's the echo from the piano note
01:12:278 (72278|2) - i not hear a special sound that can make into LN :'/ there's a slow build up by the voice that grows stronger
01:13:983 (73983|0) - ^ the loud voice supports this (ik I did say I didn't want vocal mapping but this is a different section, so I can map different instruments and sounds)
01:14:665 (74665|2) - change into LN then 01:15:006 - add 1 here ill just change the LN only

Easy
00:05:801 (5801|0) - change into LN to 00:06:824 - ok
01:00:346 - add 1 mhm
01:01:710 - ^ mhm

  7. 01:11:085 - how about this https://puu.sh/vsyDZ/fcac3f737b.jpg
looks more fit with the drum (the col 1|4 doubles represent the loud snare correctly too) alrighty owo
  8. 01:20:631 (80631|2) - col 4? idk why is this stacked tho since it doesnt contain the same instruments as the note before alright owo
  9. 01:21:824 (81824|1) - move to 1 probably. avoid - 01:21:483 (81483|1,81824|1,82165|1) - okie
  10. 01:25:915 (85915|2) - delete again? yea okie
cool keysound owo
thanks for mod, seems like all is applied so idk why I commented on the Heartless part LOL

Hi Rave, for M4M :)

[General]
  1. Please recheck all of your keysound files in case if there's unused one. Personally don't seem to find things wrong, but i really suggest you to recheck twice.
  2. Have you confirmed your metadata directly? (I'm not entirely sure if you only look from ranked mapset tbh.)
  3. Just friendly reminder, please really look the HS while applying my mod, so there isn't any mistake with the keysound/hitsound.
[Easy]
  1. 00:28:301 - Kinda broke the structure imo, if you want to have pattern differentiation, i suggest to have http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8024519 instead.
  2. 00:33:074 (33074|0,33756|1) - Suggest switch column here for the balance here.
  3. 00:39:892 (39892|3,40574|0) - Better in col 2 and col 4 here, i don't really understand the reason to trill at 00:38:528 (38528|3,39210|0,39892|3,40574|0) - , seem kinda random.
  4. 01:00:006 - a bit inbalance here, you can polish it with http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8024559
  5. 01:02:392 - Personally your pattern have too much 3-4 double here, it's inbalanced in terms of note amount of patterning, so you might as well use http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8024588
  6. 01:07:165 (67165|3,67846|3,68528|3,69210|3) - the note stack is too long here, solve it by moving 01:08:528 (68528|3) - to col 3.
  7. 01:10:574 (70574|2,70915|1,71256|2) - 2-3-2 is much much better here, will mirror 01:11:937 - which is more solid in terms of patterning.
  8. 01:12:619 - this also really right hand biased, you might as well try http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8024620
  9. 01:16:710 (76710|2,77051|1) - Switch column here for balance as well.
[Normal]
  1. 00:18:756 (18756|1) - I do think you can move this to col 3 to mirroring the note trill at 00:16:369 (16369|0,16710|1,17051|0,17392|1) - , it would ultimately makes it more structured.
  2. 00:23:187 - You can try http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8024074 to also mirror 00:26:937 (26937|3,27278|2,27619|0,27619|1) - and it overall gives more balance and flow in the pattern as well.
  3. 00:31:369 (31369|3) - move to col 3 here for balance too, not sure why have to be in col.4
  4. 00:35:801 - I don't think having LN that last in right hand for too long is a good thing like 00:33:074 (33074|3,35801|2,38528|3,39892|2) - , Try http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8024106 , it will be much better constructed in terms of playability and pattern spreading.
  5. 00:52:165 - The very same that I mention in Heartless diff, try to fix according to the example I gave you.
  6. 00:53:869 - Same again as above, please fix too, make sure the patterns are made well-balanced / structured properly.
  7. 00:58:642 (58642|1,58983|0) - Will be better if you switch column of these notes, it's really awkward you make the double at 00:58:983 - being at same column with 00:59:665 - albeit two of those have really different emphasis and isntrument.
  8. 01:01:710 (61710|0,62051|2,62392|0) - Honestly here, 3-1-3 fits much better.
  9. 01:06:483 - Felt really biased combined with previous pattern, personally i would say this will balance it better: http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8024281
  10. 01:10:574 (70574|0,70915|2) - Switch column between these 2 notes to avoid unneeded one hand trill at 01:10:915 (70915|2,71085|3,71256|2,71426|3) -
  11. 01:12:619 (72619|1) - Change this into LN, this is a vocal LN you followed at 01:13:983 (73983|0) -
  12. 01:17:562 (77562|2,77733|1) - Also switch column to make this pattern smoother to play i guess.
  13. 01:19:267 - I feel you need to add note here, the drum quite obvious.
  14. 01:22:804 (82804|0,82889|2) - Sooo, I ever saw the other slow bpm map that also uses 1/16 snap on normal diff: t/501580/start=45 , and it got Disqualified because of that, so, i really recommend you to delete the 1/16 notes here.
  15. 01:27:676 (87676|2) - Delete this too for same reason as above.
[Heartless]
  1. 00:01:710 - The way of this patterning makes it seem like a bit random albeit this supposed to follow piano, the more accurate and comfortable one is something like http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8023767
  2. 00:12:960 (12960|2,13301|3) - Switch column here fits much better.
  3. 00:17:733 - A bit subjective, but this pattern looked a bit out of place because it kinda isolate itself, and it repeatedly using 1-3 double pattern, perhaps you can have different double for variation and flow patterning like http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8023831
  4. 00:25:574 (25574|1) - This should be at column 1 making jack to be consistent with 00:26:597 (26597|3,26937|3) -
  5. 00:35:460 (35460|1) - I really suggest make this into col 3 to form the jack with the LN here, it fits and suit the drum kick instrument, and provide consistency with 00:40:915 (40915|1,41256|1) -
  6. 00:46:369 - Add one more note here in col 1, otherwise you aren't consistent with 00:35:460 - and 00:40:915 -
  7. 00:52:165 - Personally this LN cramping the 1/4 pattern lingering here, I really curious whether you really find this LN necessary? focusing in 1/4 only makes the pattern more spreaded properly and having proper emphasis on the more audible instrument too, something like http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8023903 will work really well for the instrument and patterning.
  8. 00:53:869 - This also too, you can stop the LN at the start where the chain of 1/4 occured to provide more pattern leniency like http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8023919
  9. 01:00:346 (60346|1,60517|1,60858|1,61028|1) - Not sure why you would stack it like this, really recommend move 01:00:858 (60858|1) - to col.4
  10. 01:03:074 (63074|1,63415|3) - Switch column between these 2 notes, this will balancing the left biased pattern you have before.
  11. 01:04:437 - A bit weird this pattern is repeating although that this doesn't have any strong drum cue that warrants such pattern, I advise try http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8023952
  12. 01:09:892 (69892|1,70233|3) - Also switch column between the 2 notes here, to balancing the note at left column.
  13. 01:11:085 - When you make a lot of jack like here, having odd double usually makes the diff increase quite big here, So it's highly advice to use such jack double that the pattern mainly consist of 12-34 , like http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8023992 here. (btw, the reason i also add the LN at 01:12:619 - , is for consistent LN you use at 01:13:983 - ).
  14. 01:15:346 (75346|3) - This is supposed to be LN too, the electro guitar already started here. (Don't forget about the hitsound as well)
  15. 01:15:261 (75261|1) - I know what you try to follow here, but truthfully this is really out of place and awkward to have such really small LN appear suddenly, you can basically add 1/2 LN at 01:15:006 - instead following the rising synth guitar sound.
  16. 01:17:733 - making this at the same column with 01:17:392 - is much better because they are the very same instrument that can be emphasize with the same double in the same column. something like http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8024021 will work.
  17. 01:23:528 - Should be triple for a really loud finish sound.
Call me back if you're done, don't forget to always recheck :3

Only part I am a little unsure is the 1/16 part because I thought it should be fine for the sounds like this, so idk if double notes are fine.

If you think it is not ok let me know. I will add dudehacker into tags too.

Thanks!! :D

Edit: Confirmed Miku Sawai is correct as of 2017 from https://osu.ppy.sh/s/477394 https://osu.ppy.sh/s/552947 https://osu.ppy.sh/s/529594

The 1/16 in normal shouldn't be used.. already told you that it's already be dq reason in the past, so you should delete the 1/16 that I mention you in the mod.

In hard diff its alright though, feel free to keep in hard diff.
I can probably qualify tommorow, today already qualify a map
