Problem Details: So I just got an S on a song and it said it gave 107pp, but in reality in only gave liike 10 or so. http://imgur.com/a/j6z6i That was before I got the 107pp. http://imgur.com/a/A6M0d That is after. I also played songs in between those two, and I believe my pp was at 1260ish before getting that S,and is now only 1274. Does the pp of a song not directly translate to your personal pp?

pp is weighted, so you will only get a percentage of the pp that is shown. Also, all of the plays underneath the new play in your top plays will lose value, further decreasing the amount of pp you will gain

yep, to prohibit high amounts of pp for lower skilled long time players the pp system has a weightage system, like sandy said. All your pp scores are listed up from top to bottom (by the number N). So the real pp of a song are like: pp*0.95^(N-1)...

... in the end only around the best 30 of your plays rly count:
1: 100%
2: 95%
and so on

So its better to get a low amount of high tier plays rather than a huge amount of lower tier plays, in relation ofc ^^

Edit: Well, answering faster i could type, so just take my math as a fun fact i guess ^^
