Is it possible to transfer all my 2,000 beatmaps from this computer to a new one? If so can you tell me how?
I don't want to have to search and re-install all these maps on a new computer. :o

you can try this Drive Directory "C:\Program Files\osu!"
or to be precise
Right click osu Icon >> click properties >> click Open file location
then your Osu Folder will be shown

Please, do not revive an inactive and archived thread, thanks.

Anyways, the beatmaps are always stored on folders with their names. If you have them on your "Songs" folder of your osu! installation, osu! should detect and load them.

And next time, remember to not revive this type of threads. c:

Okay I know I am not supposed to revive these threads. But holy crap I have no clue whatsoever as to how I must post a damn question!!!!

I looked everywhere on this damn website and can not find a place where I can ask a question.

(well I found out later... sort of, but whatever I need the answer quickly).

Because I have no clue how to ask a question on my own I will simply reply to this one because it is relevant -.-

My issue is that I copied all my songs from the original song folder in my older laptop onto a flash drive. I proceeded to paste them onto the songs folder in my new laptop. You say that osu will detect changes in songs folder, but mine does not at all. What do I do

Never heard of F5... well that worked haha.

Since I am playing on a new laptop is it normal for my previous ranks in the song to not show?

-- Ex: Song "XX" I got an S on, and it does not show my rank.

Please do not bump threads in the Resolved Issues subforum.

Right click on the old osu! on your desktop and click "open file location"
copy the song file (works with the skins folder too!) and paste on a storage device
Right click on the new osu! on your desktop and click "open file location"
paste the contents of song file(and skins into the skin folder) into the new skin folder
open osu! and press "f5" this should load all of the songs

But you didn't pay attention to the multiple warnings not to bump old threads, and the part where they Original Poster said his problem was fixed?

Come on man like really.
